I believe in God. I also believe God. “Discernment is not simply a matter of telling the difference between what is right and wrong; rather it is the difference between right and almost right.” -Charles Spurgeon. Scripture is my authority for all things regarding to life and godliness. 2 Cor.10:5 We are destroying speculations and every lofty thing raised up against the knowledge of God, and we are taking every thought captive to the obedience of Christ

A Homeschooler's Wish List Regarding Socialization
“My wife and I were concerned that our children
would miss out on the socialization available in the
public schools...so once a week we take our kids into
the bathroom, cuss at them, push them around, steal
their lunch money, and offer them drugs. That seems to
take care of it.”
1 Learn what the words "socialize" and "socialization"
mean, and use the one you really mean instead
of mixing them up. Socializing means hanging
out with other people for fun. Socialization
means having acquired the skills necessary to
do so successfully and pleasantly. Since we do
go out now and then to visit other human
beings on the planet (like when we are out
talking to you) one can safely assume we've got
a decent grasp of both concepts. How about
you?
2 Quit interrupting my home schooled kid at her dance
lesson, scout meeting, choir practice, baseball
game, art class, field trip, park day, music class,
4H club, and/or soccer lesson to ask her if she
ever gets to socialize.
3 Don't assume that every homeschooler you meet is
homeschooling in the same way as that one
odd homeschooler you know, or think you
know, or heard about, or saw on T.V. or
imagined.
4 We don't look horrified and start quizzing your kids
when we hear they're in public school. Please
stop doing so to our children when you hear
they are homeschooled.
5 Please don't ask my kids if they wouldn't rather go to
school unless you don't mind me asking your
kids if they wouldn't rather stay home.
6 Please stop asking us if homeschooling is legal. It is.
By asking, you seem to be implying we're
criminals. If we were, would we admit it?

Anonymous attacks won't be tolerated here. If you want to disagree with me, then have the courtesy to be respectful and mature. Reasonable disagreements are often allowed, but please identify yourself. This isn't the place for cowards. And no, this isn't a democracy. =)
For the rest of you who visit and show courtesy and respect, thank you so much. =)
HA! That's telling them! :) Good points!
