Mayo Clinic researchers report that antibiotics, antidepressants and painkiller opioids are the most common prescriptions given to Americans. Twenty percent of U.S. patients were also found to be on five or more prescription medications.
The study is uncovering valuable information to the researchers about U.S. prescription practices.

It means the pharmaceutical industry can continue to grow its billion dollar business even more with willing clients.
Given the huge expense of medication and its growing expansion of use, it seems the economy hasn't affected Americans.
Is it any wonder our bodies and minds can't handle life anymore? We're so drugged up we don't even know what normal IS, let alone have the ability to endure true hardship.
