Sharpton Admits Trial Was Not Based On Merits But Politics

Quote:
REV. AL SHARPTON: "Let’s not act like we got in the Florida case because of the merits, we got there by rallying, by protesting and by raising the issue.
TOM JOYNER: That’s true. That’s right."
What these race baiters don't understand is that the Sanford Police chief had no evidence to warrant an arrest and charge of murder. The outcome, the verdict, proved he was right.  The facts did not change. There was zero merit for a murder trial. The reason why the prosecution went ahead with a trial was because of politics.
Glad Sharpton and his minions on the radio show at least admit the trial was nothing but politics and racism against a man defending himself.
