Only Scripture Is The Authority

Despite what Mark Driscoll or any Word of Faith or New Apostolic or Charismatic leaders try to do or say, extra biblical revelation not only doesn't happen now, but it's not the tool God uses through us to correct, rebuke, teach, and train fellow believers. Only Scripture through the Person and work of the Holy Spirit is.

2Ti 3:16  All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness; 17  so that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work.

Is. 8 20 To the law and to the testimony! If they do not speak according to this word, they have no light of dawn.


Heb 5:14  But solid food is for the mature, for those who have their powers of discernment trained by constant practice  TO DISTINGUISH  good from evil. 

Act 17:11  Now these Jews were more noble than those in Thessalonica; they received the word with all eagerness, examining the Scriptures daily to see if these things were so.
