Looking at 1 Cor. 15-16 , the sound doctrine of the Resurrection is bound to:
the Gospel
Apostolic teaching
our Resurrection
bibliology (Gen. 2 is quoted as are the Prophets)
the atonement
our hope
eschatology
total depravity
historicity of Adam
Lordship of Christ
Sanctification
Soteriology
The Beginning (Creation, Adam, the Fall)
our inheritance of the kingdom of God
Christology
ecclesiology
offering
sound doctrine
If a person doesn't hold to the literal-historical-grammatical interpretation of Genesis, then he can't hold to these other doctrines. They rise and fall together.
