Vindication: Carrie Prejean Was Never A Christian

Back in 2009 I spoke out against Evangelical leaders who defended Carrie Prejean as a stalwart of traditional values while being immodest, fleshly, and very weak on the sin of homosexuality. Here's a list of what I posted about this controversy.

To sum up:

Prejean, the heroine of Traditional Values has taken nude and semi-nude photographs in the last 4 years.

Prejean lied about posing for the pictures when she signed her name to the contract of the pagent, stating she's never taken such photos.

Prejean is unapologetic about it and stands by her actions, justifying it as "being a model".

Prejean strutted around the stage with her cleavage hanging out and her hips gyrating to music and then posed for American men to drool over.

Prejean is for traditional marriage, but dresses in a way that would destroy it.

Prejean, has yet to give the Gospel of Jesus Christ nor give Him the spotlight at all.

Prejean thinks its great that Americans can choose homosexual "marriage".

Prejean is seen at a party with a transexual.

So where's the Christianity part again?

Steve Camp was her defender. I questioned her salvation because of her fruit. I'm glad for vindication;  she's now RC and anti-Jew--standing in full support of Candace Owens. 

TGC Women's 2024 Conference Includes Kristie Anyabwile

 TGC is corrupt both spiritually & morally. Anyone attached to TGC is unsound & dangerous.

Nancy Guthrie,Jen Wilkin, David Platt, Anne Voskamp are speakers at this year's TGC women's conference. Voskamp promotes spiritual sex with her god.

In 2018 Grace Community Church showed their hand at their trajectory of joining hands with TGC. The backlash forced them to cancel, but next month the Shepherds Conference is hosting three top TGC speakers, so it shows they're still on the same track.

Yet TGC promotes evolution, social justice, Marxism, Black Liberation theology, sodomy, Catholicism and more.

Apostate Hank Hanegraaff Endorses Homosexual Author For Defending The West

The former "Bible Answer Man" and apostate  Hank Hanegraff (now Greek Orthodox which is a works-righteousness religion), now promotes a homosexual for answers to saving the West. Never mind that a huge part of the West's downfall is it's sodomy. 

This started when he read Spencer Klavan's book. Be careful of what you read! Romans 1-3 makes it clear WHY we're at this point in the West: the rejection of the biblical God and His Word. Deny the Creation account, then you'll deny that the sin of homosexuality is especially heinous because that's a sin that goes against God's created order of nature and is dishonoring and deviant behavior, with its lusts as unnatural. An apostate like Hanegraaff will of course now consider these things to be of personal opinion, as he inferred in the clip. But he's not the first to go to the world for answers. Al Mohler has done the same but with Romanist author Flannery O'Connor and the cult of Mormonism. He also did the same with Marxist authors he read in college which he still goes back to. (Interesting that Mohler's discussion on Marxism was with Eastern Orthodox Rod Dreher.)

Be careful of the books you read. This was started by the apostate reading a book by the homosexual. The world's wisdom is absolute foolishness, useless, earthly, and demonic according to Scripture.

1Co 3:19 For the wisdom of this world is foolishness before God. For it is written, "He is THE ONE WHO CATCHES THE WISE IN THEIR CRAFTINESS"; 20 and again, "THE LORD KNOWS THE REASONINGS of the wise, THAT THEY ARE USELESS."

Mal 3:13 "Your words have been arrogant against Me," says the LORD. "Yet you say, 'What have we spoken against Thee?'

Mal 3:14 "You have said, 'It is vain to serve God; and what profit is it that we have kept His charge, and that we have walked in mourning before the LORD of hosts?

Mal 3:15 'So now we call the arrogant blessed; not only are the doers of wickedness built up, but they also test God and escape.'"

1Co 1:18 For the word of the cross is to those who are perishing foolishness, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.

John Stott Promoted Homosexuality Christianity, Contrary to Clear Scripture

John Stott, a false teacher of the Anglican church and an annihilationist, omitted two other passages that teach against homosexuality:

Mat 11:24 But I tell you that it will be more tolerable on the day of judgment for the land of Sodom than for you."

1Ti 1:10 the sexually immoral, men who practice homosexuality, enslavers, liars, perjurers, and whatever else is contrary to sound doctrine,

Moreover, Scripture speaks even about it's desire being UNNATURAL:

Jud 1:7 just as Sodom and Gomorrah and the surrounding cities, which likewise indulged in sexual immorality and pursued unnatural desire, serve as an example by undergoing a punishment of eternal fire.

In Matt. 5 Jesus says that the lusts in the heart are tantamount to doing the sin with the body before God. Moreover in Romans 1 sodomy is listed as "LUSTS of their HEARTS" that God finally turned those who refused to acknowledge Him, over to; that He gave them up to "a debase MIND". Scripture also lists sodomy as "unnatural", "dishonorable passions", and "consumed with passion for one another". Such is the description of those who refuse to acknowledge God as Creator. For those in Christ, they DO acknowledge Him as Creator and moreover, love and obey Him, therefore they don't suffer such hardness of hearts. They have a NEW heart at regeneration.

I wrote years ago:

So if God is so clear on homosexuality (- In the patriarchs (Genesis 19:1-28), the Law of Moses (Leviticus 18:22; 20:13), the Prophets (Ezekiel 16:46-50) and in the New Testament (Matt.11:24; Romans 1:18-27; 1 Corinthians 6:9-10; Jude 7-8), there is no way to accept it on any level, but that's what the liberals are doing as they secretly sneak in among us and then redefine things by trying to cloud the issue regarding sodomy. They try to use "science" and psychology, and even try to equalize the unnatural passion and lust of sodomy as if its like any other sin. That way they can play the victim and say it's merely a struggle like, say, drinking (eternal victimhood is a play right out of psychology's playbook---you never have victory over the sin or its desire but rather always struggle, thus always "recovering" but never recovered).

The sins of Sodom and Gomorrah were sexual in nature and therefore earned God's special judgement. If He destroyed not only those two cities, but the surrounding ones because of such heinous sexual immorality, then how in the WORLD can "Christians" think He's any less angry and less holy now with sodomy? Both the Old and New Testaments show God's absolute consistency regarding sexual immorality. Or do these "Christians" fancy themselves more tolerant and "loving" than the HOLY HOLY HOLY God of Israel Himself?

If liberals can't get sodomy into the churches by full frontal attack, they'll do it by a more subtle means--incrementalism, psychology, the great sin-equalizer, and victimization.

John MacArthur's Hypocrisy Continues

 Apparently, according to Protestia, John MacArthur labeled (rightly), Ravi Zacharais and Carl Lentz as "phonies". But there's a problem. MacArthur's being a hypocrite. 

He says, "I will fight error but not my friends" and that he "doesn't want to be an island" (see my article here). MacArthur's fried Ligon Duncon couldn't address concerns about Revoice and it's push for accepting homosexuality as Christians. He gave no Scripture, no biblical sound wisdom, but just referred to a couple of men's books.  Yet MacArthur sat there and said they were all on the same page on social justice and doctrine? Mohler's no better (I address that in the link above). 

The hypocrisy of MacArthur is that he shared the platform with Zacharias and other unprincipled men in 2018. In 2019 he was scheduled to share the platform again with unbiblical men at the 2019 Getty Sing! conference

In 2019 at the Shepherd's Conference he shared the pulpit with more unprincipled men like Mark Dever, Ligon Duncan, Albert Mohler, Sinclair Ferguson.

Ligon Duncan and Mark Dever along with TGC have endorsed homosexual Anglican priest Sam Allberry.

Ravi Zacharias was well known for his anti-biblical view of homosexuality well over 10 years ago and he went downhill from there. It's not until after he died that MacArthur now speaks out against him? He shared the platform with this man two years ago and by doing so, gave the fake man credibility. I suggest MacArthur address and sever ties with the ones that are living and stop being a hypocrite. God hates hypocrisy and teachers are held to a stricter judgment according to James 3:1.

Adam Tyson's Church Uses Feminist Jen Wilkin for Their Women's Group

So on the one hand there's John MacArthur in his Truth Matter's Q & A earlier today, repudiating Beth Moore (rightly so), but on the other hand TMS graducation and TMU adjunct professor and Kanye West mentor/spokesman/pastor Adam Tyler's church, is teaching their women (including his wife or his wife is the leader, it is unclear) through Jen Wilkin's book on Exodus. He was in an interview about his role with Kanye West and he talked about discussing things with his wife as things progressed with West (his wife seems enamored with celebrity) (time mark 33:00). She even used her study of Wilkin to encourage him to be like Moses (huh?) and do the leading/"preaching" at the Sunday Services.

Jen Wilkin is the egalitarian feminist who works at The Village Church under Matt Chandler. Wilkin advocates for the destruction of biblical gender roles and is a regular speaker in the evangelical preaching circuit.

Wilkin, like Beth Moore, is staunchly opposed to God’s design for women and is rebellious against God’s Word. Wilkin has advocated for homosexual inclusion and teaches that God’s Word “whispers” about homosexuality while it “shouts” about other sins.

You need to know that the way they entice people is by claiming their brand of complimentarism which is just a slightly more subtle version of feminism cloaked in Christian talk. In other words, Village Church says only men can be elders, but like all Reformergents, they believe women can teach men--it's just not in the role of elder. Village has a statement that says women can co-lead with men in a mixed group.

Also, MacArthur continues to share the platform with feminists (women teaching men spiritual things, using Scripture, etc) like at the Sing! conferences, Strange Fire conference, Proclaim 19 conference.

This is the hypocrisy and double mindedness God warns AGAINST and will be their downfall (I have dealt with women teaching men on this blog, particularly regarding Moore, Shirer, and Kay Arthur)--so all the verses about this issue are treated there).

The Master's Seminary: surrender to all

The Master's Seminary is pumping out more error, this time in it's cry of "surrender all" to God-hating "authority". Worse, they are hypocrites. They have not submitted to WASC with all the "reverence and joy" that they are telling everyone else to do.

The battle cry of every believer is, “I surrender. I submit to your authority.” I want you to notice the comprehensive nature of this command. Peter says to every human institution, and then he refers to the king – which speaks of national authority, and then he speaks of the governor – which refers to local authorities.

As the government rages against believers at every level, whether it be at the national level, the state level, the local level, or the municipal level, we are to surrender to every manifestation of institutional authority placed over us. Thus, we are to surrender, submit to, and honor President Trump, President Obama before him, President Bush before him, and President Clinton before him.

We are to honor Governor Jerry Brown the first time he was in office, and the second time he was in office. We are to submit to the Supreme Court’s rulings, whether they lean to the left or whether they lean to the right. We are to obey every law that is passed by the legislature, whether we like it or not. Thus, whatever the government’s attitude toward believers, the one thing that the government should be able to count on of all believers is our total submission and deep reverence toward their authority.

The only time we are free to disobey the institutional authorities is when they command us to disobey our Lord and Master, but short of that, we are to be exemplary citizens, submissive and reverential to the authorities over us. That’s because every authority has been placed there by God Himself. This is what Pastor MacArthur refers to as evangelistic citizenship.

It's pretty hard to take TMC seriously anymore, given their abject rebellion against Christ the King and His own sheep. Moreover, their history of not submitting to WASC shows their hypocrisy.

TMC is using an historic and personal event (Daniel & the kings) to try and create an emotional attachment between God-hating employers and Christian employees, while ignoring the hostility between them. What he doesn't address is MacArthur's compromise of willingly surrendering to LGBGT's demand of equality in marriage via Christians baking a cake for their "weddings" which seeks to legitimize such wicked unnatural things. And that's where this seminary is going--submit to the thinking that then drives the "orders" or "suggestions". Our fight is a spiritual one that starts with doctrine and never, ever, are we to submit to anything contrary to sound doctrine.

Joh 15:18 "If the world hates you, know that it has hated me before it hated you.

Joh 15:19 If you were of the world, the world would love you as its own; but because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you.

Joh 15:20 Remember the word that I said to you: 'A servant is not greater than his master.' If they persecuted me, they will also persecute you. If they kept my word, they will also keep yours.

Btw, if all this abject submission, which is actually surrendering to (to surrender is entirely different than submission, btw. Surrender has the connotation of bowing to authority in defeat and having a mindset of giving up, waving the white flag for peace. We aren't at peace w/ those who are outside of Christ. But honestly, Chung is right even for the wrong reasons--he is calling for a surrender to that which is hostile against Christ and HIS sheep--NOT submitting to the government God placed in society) to the government and society authorities is without qualification save one: outright order to disobey God--but again, unsound doctrine is, itself, disobedience, is for "the sake of the gospel", pray tell, where is all the evangelizing going on? Where is his own proclamation of the Gospel? That in itself would cause many to be fired. Or is he of the error that the world will "see your good works and glorify God" --ie, become pro-Christ and pro-Christian or at the very least, become neutral? But I digress a tad.
Herein lies the rub: the claim to surrender to all authority for the Gospel is ONLY the surrendering to keep the job. This is just another friendship (employee? citizenship?) evangelism where attachments are made and the Gospel (the right Gospel) is never given. It is a way to religiously justify the sins of our government and society and claim "it's for the gospel!" so that they don't lose their jobs or tax exemption. This is exactly the pragmatism that these men will indeed claim when they are told to take the number of the Beast. Chung revealed this mindset: "Just recently, we had LGBT training at the superior court where I work. They wanted the name of every judge who refused to attend. It is no secret that private companies oftentimes are monitoring employees’ social media posts to decide who they will hire or fire, who they will promote or not based on what the social view is of those individual employees."  His job is at stake. Pragmatism will keep him surrendering to anti-biblical philosophies and practices while claiming to do it "for the Gospel". The problem is that the Gospel isn't proclaimed in one's works. That is to say, there is no silent witness of the Gospel. There is to be, however, integrity between one's practice and one's practice (which is indeed what we see with Daniel--but I can't say TMS is filled with Daniels since there's but one historic one and today's Evangelical leaders are compromisers). 

God didn't institute employer/employee as such. He instituted three things: government, marriage, and the church. TMC is blurring the lines and saying basically all things, all institutions, are God's vessels for managing order on earth. Chung ignores that slavery was part of the governmental system. That's not an institution God created as good;government, marriage, and church are. Moreover, employment is not the same as slavery. Slavery isn't a choice for most people. That is to say, for nearly all of slavery's history worldwide, it was not the same as being an employee where you could leave if you wanted to and it wasn't indentured service either. Again, once the debt was paid, the indentured servant was free and clear. And I'm not saying we aren't to be good citizens and employees. We are, but we are for the sake of the biblical Lord Jesus Christ. Integrity to the King of kings, however begins with living out sound doctrine. Therefore if you have false doctrine, your already in violation of His commands because Truth is not simply ideas to give intellectual ascent to, but is to be convicted of, believed, treasured, loved and thus practiced because they come from the Holy One of Israel. Chung continues this blurring when he says it's all the same submission (surrendering) whether to the government officials or to an unsaved husband or how to love the wife of the husband. Yet in his trivial treatment of the context, doctrines, and issues he touches on, he fails to acknowledge the spiritual issue of marriage which has no correspondence of a citizen with the government. The result will be a wrong ecclessiology and thus fuehrer elders.

In fact, Al Mohler's offence at being questioned on his stances on homosexuality, etc and then immediately following that, MacArthur's refusal to fight his friends on error seems to show a friendship fuehrer that holds men in contempt of King Jesus' commands and fidelity to Him in order to appease one's influential friends. Ironically, MacArthur's excuse was he "doesn't want to become an island" but that's exactly where all this is headed---exclusion from society and Evangelicalism and the Good Old Boys' Club (conferences, speaking engagements, book tours, publishers, seminary appointments) because of fighting error wherever it's found (and it being among his friends who are supposedly "experts" on all things Bible by position his friends are more treacherous for their error than the "lower class" Christian who IS faithful to Christ but has zero benefit to any of these men for advancement and power) is costly.

It seems to me that this is setting up Evangelical leaders and churches to turn in Christians who in their minds are poor employees, rebels who won't "surrender" to the changing and wicked dictates and the corresponding philosophies that drive them, of the world. They surrender so that they can keep their tax exemption (love of money), accreditation (applause and approval of the world), and avoid persecution. That never worked out well for Israel when she set up alliances and allegiances with Egypt for protection (Is. 30).

Pro 29:25  The fear of man brings a snare, But he who trusts in the LORD will be exalted.

Dan 2:21  He changes times and seasons; he removes kings and sets up kings;

Isa 30:1  "Ah, stubborn children," declares the LORD, "who carry out a plan, but not mine, and who make an alliance, but not of my Spirit, that they may add sin to sin; :2  who set out to go down to Egypt, without asking for my direction, to take refuge in the protection of Pharaoh and to seek shelter in the shadow of Egypt! 

Psa 20:7 Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the LORD our God.

2Co 6:14 Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what partnership has righteousness with lawlessness? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?

2Co 6:15 What accord has Christ with Belial? Or what portion does a believer share with an unbeliever?

2Co 6:16 What agreement has the temple of God with idols? For we are the temple of the living God; as God said, "I will make my dwelling among them and walk among them, and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

Isa 31:1 Woe to those who go down to Egypt for help and rely on horses, who trust in chariots because they are many and in horsemen because they are very strong, but do not look to the Holy One of Israel or consult the LORD! 2 And yet he is wise and brings disaster; he does not call back his words, but will arise against the house of the evildoers and against the helpers of those who work iniquity.

Prov.16: ⁸  Better is a little with righteousness, Than vast revenues without justice.

Truth is simple. Scripture tells us to what and how we're to submit to the authorities God has established for us (not ones made up by the whim of man). It tells us how to practice sound doctrine in a corrupt world. We don't need hypocrites telling us their version of authority (lo and behold, they want to be part of that authority) and demand we surrender to them. Integrity and submission must be to King Jesus first and foremost.

A Little Bit of This

You can't accept a little bit of Evolution, Psychology, Feminism, homosexuality, or Socialism/Marxism and not expect for it to take over a person's, an institution's, a church's, a political party's, or a society's thinking and behavior.

Allowing for "differences of opinion" is the leaven that will leaven the entire loaf. A little bit of evolution leads to accepting it fully. A little feminism leads to accepting it fully. A little homosexuality leads to accepting it fully. A little bit of psychology leads to accepting it fully. A little socialism/marxism leads to accepting it fully. A little affection for the world leads to loving it fully.  Incrementalism is what this is. "Just a little bit" is ok. No it isn't. 

Each one of these is a godless, pagan worldview which has taken over Evangelicalism, because it's taken over our society. 

"No lie is of the Truth," Scripture states. Conversely Truth is not of a lie. To try and wed lies with truth is as possible as trying to bond Christ to Satan or water to oil. It is impossible. So one will take over. A person will repent of one and be loyal to the other. As King Jesus has said, no man can serve two masters, for he will love one and hate the other. He also stated that a lukewarm person He will reject. Scripture teaches exclusivity and absolutes. Post-Modernism teaches a blending of truth and lies, right and wrong, and an inability to know the difference. 

We are to reject an entire philosophy or gospel that does not entirely line up with Scripture. As well, we are to reject the men through which they come.

Col 2:2  that their hearts may be encouraged, having been knit together in love, and attaining to all the wealth that comes from the full assurance of understanding, resulting in a true knowledge of God's mystery, that is, Christ Himself,

Col 2:3  in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.

Col 2:4  I say this so that no one will delude you with persuasive argument.

Eph 4:17  This I say therefore, and affirm together with the Lord, that you walk no longer just as the Gentiles also walk, in the futility of their mind, 
Eph 4:18  being darkened in their understanding, excluded from the life of God, because of the ignorance that is in them, because of the hardness of their heart; 
Eph 4:19  and they, having become callous, have given themselves over to sensuality, for the practice of every kind of impurity with greediness. 
Eph 4:20  But you did not learn Christ in this way, 

Eph 4:21  if indeed you have heard Him and have been taught in Him, just as truth is in Jesus, 

2Jn 1:9  Anyone who goes too far and does not abide in the teaching of Christ, does not have God; the one who abides in the teaching, he has both the Father and the Son.

2Jn 1:10  If anyone comes to you and does not bring this teaching, do not receive him into your house, and do not give him a greeting;

2Jn 1:11  for the one who gives him a greeting participates in his evil deeds. 

2Co 6:14  Do not be bound together with unbelievers; for what partnership have righteousness and lawlessness, or what fellowship has light with darkness?

2Co 6:15  Or what harmony has Christ with Belial, or what has a believer in common with an unbeliever?

The NAE Supports LBGT Freedom For Self Preservation

The "Christian" Post reported:

In October, the NAE passed a motion called "Fairness For All" which asks Congress to consider laws that regard human beings as made in God's image and that sexual relations be reserved for the marriage of a man and a woman; that long-standing civil rights laws and First Amendment protections guaranteeing the free exercise of religion be supported; and that no one should be discriminated against, face harassment or violence because of their sex, sexual orientation, or gender identity.

“As Christian higher educators, we are increasingly persuaded that the most viable political strategy is for comprehensive religious freedom protections to be combined with explicit support for basic human rights for members of the LGBT community,” wrote Houghton College President Shirley Mullen, who serves on both the CCCU and NAE board, in a position paper provided to NAE board members....

Johnnie Moore, president of the KAIROS Company, a NAE board member who serves on President Donald Trump's evangelical advisory board, is supporting the motion "because it puts down markers in an important conversation," he told World.

There doesn't need to be a conversation. God has already spoken. Truth needs to be unapologetically and boldly proclaimed. A conversation denotes two sides equally sharing views. That is not the biblical way. Christians don't need to work through and try to figure out and have emotions toward homosexuality and transgenders issues. There is zero credibility (or common sense) on the side of LGBT. There's only one truth regarding this: it's all wrong. Done. Move on.

Also you can't hold to biblical and traditional marriage of one man to one woman AND hold to LBGT. Those two are diametrically opposed to each other. 

I have no doubt part of their issue is keeping federal funding coming in. But also, it shows that they want freedom for hedonism in order to keep their own freedom. That isn't biblical either. Besides that, Scripture promises persecution for those who side with Christ in walk and talk. What they're doing is fearing man and in  doing so, compromising absolute Truth. Their way is crooked, pragmatic, and wholly self serving. Certainly NOT Christ-serving. Pragmatism isn't HIS way when it comes to things pertaining to life and godliness. He has already spoken.

It's Not Complicated

If Bible "experts" can't believe nor get correct even a couple of the clearest doctrines in Scripture right, then they have nothing worth hearing because they are still blind, deaf, and in darkness. In other words they have a spirit of unbelief and rebellion.

A few of  those doctrines I'm referring to are:

Creation
Millennial Kingdom of Christ the King
Women teaching men

And if they don't get those right, they won't be right on:

homosexuality
foul/crude language
the world's philosophies including psychology, evolution, and pragmatism
mysticism
Roman Catholicism
divorce/marriage

Such "experts" have the voice of a stranger, not of Christ the King.

They offer poisoned, rotten food, not the healthy, pure milk and meat of Scripture.
They have another spirit which God commands I not tolerate.
They don't believe that Scripture really is powerful and living, nor do they treat it as the Word of God but merely of man.

They keep people in bondage, making them think they need their expertise, but in reality they are keeping the very tools to test them from the people, along with using fear or intimidation.

Joh 8:36  "If therefore the Son shall make you free, you shall be free indeed.

Gal 5:1  It was for freedom that Christ set us free; therefore keep standing firm and do not be subject again to a yoke of slavery.

2Pe 2:17  These are springs without water, and mists driven by a storm, for whom the black darkness has been reserved.
2Pe 2:18  For speaking out arrogant words of vanity they entice by fleshly desires, by sensuality, those who barely escape from the ones who live in error,
2Pe 2:19  promising them freedom while they themselves are slaves of corruption; for by what a man is overcome, by this he is enslaved.

Joh 10:1  "Truly, truly, I say to you, he who does not enter by the door into the fold of the sheep, but climbs up some other way, he is a thief and a robber.
Joh 10:2  "But he who enters by the door is a shepherd of the sheep.
Joh 10:3  "To him the doorkeeper opens, and the sheep hear his voice, and he calls his own sheep by name, and leads them out.
Joh 10:4  "When he puts forth all his own, he goes before them, and the sheep follow him because they know his voice.
Joh 10:5  "And a stranger they simply will not follow, but will flee from him, because they do not know the voice of strangers."

Joh 10:7  Jesus therefore said to them again, "Truly, truly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep.
Joh 10:8  "All who came before Me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not hear them.
Joh 10:9  "I am the door; if anyone enters through Me, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.
Joh 10:10  "The thief comes only to steal, and kill, and destroy; I came that they might have life, and might have it abundantly.
Joh 10:11  "I am the good shepherd; the good shepherd lays down His life for the sheep.
Joh 10:12  "He who is a hireling, and not a shepherd, who is not the owner of the sheep, beholds the wolf coming, and leaves the sheep, and flees, and the wolf snatches them, and scatters them.
Joh 10:13  "He flees because he is a hireling, and is not concerned about the sheep.
Joh 10:14  "I am the good shepherd; and I know My own, and My own know Me, 
Joh 10:15  even as the Father knows Me and I know the Father; and I lay down My life for the sheep.

Heb 4:12  For the word of God is living and active and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing as far as the division of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart.
Heb 4:13  And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are open and laid bare to the eyes of Him with whom we have to do.

Today's Evangelicals And The Spirit Of The Pharisees

1Pe 4:1  Therefore, since Christ has suffered in the flesh, arm yourselves also with the same purpose, because he who has suffered in the flesh has ceased from sin, 2  so as to live the rest of the time in the flesh no longer for the lusts of men, but for the will of God.

Rom 13:14  But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh in regard to its lusts. 

Rom 1:24  Therefore God gave them over in the lusts of their hearts to impurity, that their bodies might be dishonored among them.

Rom 6:11  Even so consider yourselves to be dead to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus. 12  Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body that you should obey its lusts,

Col 3:5  Therefore consider the members of your earthly body as dead to immorality, impurity, passion, evil desire, and greed, which amounts to idolatry. 6  For it is on account of these things that the wrath of God will come,

Today's Evangelicals see action or inaction as righteousness, which is really works righteousness. I particularly am thinking of the issue of homosexuality and their made up "celibate Christian homosexual" category. In other words they are like the Pharisees who thought that because they didn't murder someone or have intercourse with a woman, they were innocent of murder and adultery. However, Jesus rebuked them and showed that He and His law are precise in judgement: it's first a matter of the heart and this is where they were guilty of those sins:

Mat 5:27  "You have heard that it was said, 'YOU SHALL NOT COMMIT ADULTERY';
Mat 5:28  but I say to you, that everyone who looks on a woman to lust for her has committed adultery with her already in his heart.
Mat 5:29  "And if your right eye makes you stumble, tear it out, and throw it from you; for it is better for you that one of the parts of your body perish, than for your whole body to be thrown into hell.

If it was the eye that caused one to sin, Jesus said, then remove it because that's how heinous sin is and it's better to be maimed than enter Hell. The problem is that He said it wasn't a body part that was at fault; it was the inner man, the heart of man, where sin begins and therefore in order to deal with sin one must deal with the heart. He showed the necessity of the need of salvation, repentance, faith, and justification. That is, a new heart that only God can give:

Mat 15:19  "For out of the heart come evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, slanders. 20  "These are the things which defile the man; but to eat with unwashed hands does not defile the man."

Jas 1:13  Let no one say when he is tempted, "I am being tempted by God"; for God cannot be tempted by evil, and He Himself does not tempt anyone.
Jas 1:14  But each one is tempted when he is carried away and enticed by his own lust.
Jas 1:15  Then when lust has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and when sin is accomplished, it brings forth death.

Eze 36:25  "Then I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you will be clean; I will cleanse you from all your filthiness and from all your idols.
Eze 36:26  "Moreover, I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; and I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh.
Eze 36:27  "And I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will be careful to observe My ordinances.

I'm so old that I remember when MacArthur taught & wrote against evolution and for Creation in 6 literal days by God's Word.

I'm so old that I remember when MacArthur spoke and wrote against looking to politics to change a culture.

I'm so old that I remember when MacArthur honored law enforcement at GCC & taught on the honor and respect needed toward our government as Scripture dictates.

I'm so old that I remember when MacArthur wrote that down through the ages in all of Scripture (Law, Prophets, the Gospels & Epistles) God condemns homosexuality.

I'm so old that I remember when MacArthur taught against the RCC.

I'm so old that I remember when MacArthur and GCC taught against the Charismatic Movement and had an entire conference and book against it.

Yet TGC promotes evolution, social justice, Marxism, Black Liberation theology, sodomy, Catholicism and more.

One of the scheduled TGC speakers is Jamin Groogin, co- author of "The Way of the Dragon or the Way of the Lamb". His book’s acknowledgements include two mystics Eugene Peterson (“The Message” book) and Dallas Willard (spiritual formation). Jean Vanier, who is a Roman Catholic philosopher and theologian. John Perkins is a social justice activist.  These men cannot be labeled as being faitihful to the King's way of biblical Christianity since they incorporate things of the world as well as demons (mysticism is demonic).

GCC has since, removed the tweet from their Twitter account. Below is the update. John MacArthur is still speaking at TGC, which shows GCC is still approving of the ministry.  TGC is an entire unit and body.  It stands for something and against something. Perfect agreement is not the issue, but its foundation, founders, associations, content, over time reveals if the ministry or person is of Christ. Because of TGC's founder Tim Keller and because of it's doctrinal triage we're seeing the bad fruit. TGC is waxing worse because its root is wicked. 

The Gospel Coalition

Previously it was announced that The Gospel Coalition and Grace Community Church were partnering together on a TGC 2018 West Coast Conference this October 16–18.

While both of our organizations give thanks for the good work the other is doing for the cause of Christ, we have reached the mutual decision that it is best to host the conference at another venue.

Over the past two weeks, because of some administrative misunderstandings and some differences in ministry emphasis and approach, it has become clear that the best way forward for all involved is to move the conference to another location in the Los Angeles area. The conversations leading to this conclusion have been gracious and friendly. We gladly recognize the fruitfulness and faithfulness in each other’s ministries.

Finally, it should be noted that the conference is still happening during the original dates, and we are pleased to report that John MacArthur will still be a featured speaker. More information about a new location will be released as soon as plans are finalized.
