Liberty University Threatens Students With Fines For Not Attending Convocation With Mormon Cult Member Glen Beck

Liberty University invited Mormon Glenn Beck to preach to its students at its compulsory convocation last week, handing out $10 fines to residential students who didn’t have a suitable excuse for not attending.

~Pajama Pages

Suitable excuse: it's against my faith in the biblical Lord Jesus Christ! Unbelievable they want to FINE students for not going. Satan is working overtime among "Christians" to get the sheep to listen to a false shepherd!

This is not the first time Beck has spoken at Liberty. A few years ago he spoke at their graduation ceremony, but apparently the heat Liberty got from that wasn't enough to cause them to back down. No, they are bound and determined to push a cultist on the people.

And "Christian" parents are spending hundreds of thousands of dollars sending their children to this school! Yup parents, you paid for this blasphemy.

Piper and Darrin Patrick Celebrate Maya Angelou's "Wisdom" to Tupac

RT : “I must tell you the truth you may be the last person I . . .”

Here Angelou proclaims a false pagan god: her definition of God is "all". She proclaims there are many ways to God too. "All roads lead to God". What happens when she dies? "Oh well I go back to All...I'm in all right now. I just go back to All."

Driscoll and Mistakes

"I can’t help but remember that Mark Driscoll defended himself against plagiarism charges by saying “mistakes were made.” I wonder if Driscoll thinks Jesus would have made “citations errors,” yet without sin."

~Patheos on Mark Driscoll's preaching the difference between mistakes and sin (one you can learn from and isn't sin).

Good point! Here Driscoll justifies mistakes and how they are different than sin and that we can learn from our mistakes. Guess that doesn't apply to those who plagerizes his material. Oh wait, but when he does it, it's a mere mistake he can learn from. Uh huh.

"Hath God said?" Mark Driscoll Attacks the Omniscience and Impeccability of Jesus Christ

Rom 3:12  All have turned aside; together they have become worthless; no one does good, not even one."
Rom 3:13  "Their throat is an open grave; they use their tongues to deceive." "The venom of asps is under their lips."
Rom 3:14  "Their mouth is full of curses and bitterness."
Rom 3:15  "Their feet are swift to shed blood;
Rom 3:16  in their paths are ruin and misery,
Rom 3:17  and the way of peace they have not known."
Rom 3:18  "There is no fear of God before their eyes."

What makes the following horrific is that the elders at Mars Hill knew this was going to cause a problem and so they edited it from their online version. As if Driscoll didn't preach against the omniscience, impeccability, and immutablity of Jesus Christ! As if Driscoll didn't treat Jesus Christ with ANY respect whatsoever.

Quote of the transcript (the video is on the same page):

Ok, ready, what I’m going to tell you now might be a heresy. I’m not sure. We’ll see. Ok, um, I’ll just say that, so that if it is, I have an out, ok? So, what I’m going to say now is uh, ok I’ll just say it. Jesus never sinned, will you give me that, He never sinned, true? Good, you’ve been well taught, I think. Ok, so never sinned, never violated any command of the Bible, but question, question, here goes, brain explode, ready? Here we go, is it possible that he made some mistakes?

Did he ever make a mistake? Not a sin, a mistake. Did He ever have to do something twice because he didn’t get it right the first time. When he was learning as a little kid how to write his letters, was it like, ‘I can do this, mom, I made the heavens and the Earth. Watch, I can do cursive too. Or, or, did He have to, ‘ok, this is how you make, oh, ah, ok, I got it right the second time. What do you think? What do you think? It says in Luke that Jesus grew in wisdom and stature and favor with men and God. He grew. What that means is that he had to learn how to do things. You’re going to need to learn how to do things. One of the ways we learn how to do things is we don’t get it right the first time. We fail. So then we learn from it and we figure out how to do it, that’s how we do things, right? Some of you are paralyzed by religious perfectionism. I need to get it all right, I need to get it all right the first time. You’re not Jesus. And you know what? Jesus may have learn how to do things by figuring it out, maybe not always getting it 100% right the first time.

Let me be careful with this. It’s not immoral. It’s not sinful. It’s not ungodly. It’s part of your humanity. You don’t need to repent of being human. You need to give yourself a little grace and be human.

~Patheos

Sounds like his "Jesus" is that of Kenneth Copeland's god who "is the greatest failure in all of Scripture". How he can compare Jesus who never ceased to be God EVER (He is immutable according to Phil. 2 for example) to us is incomprehensible. Moreover, it wasn't just learning to do a physical thing like riding a bike (seriously? that's what he brings in to contextualize Christ??), but Driscoll went on to include "religious perfectionism". So he's saying in both, we can fail and not be held accountable for our sin---but worse, Jesus had to learn that too!

Folks this junk from Driscoll is not only heretical, it is absolute hatred of that which is pure: the Word and the Author of the Word and of our faith. It is treating with disrespect, irreverence, that which is HOLY HOLY HOLY and then walking around in arrogance and pride--daring anyone to reject him for teaching such blasphemy.

But back in 2008 I reported on Driscoll's unholy view of Jesus Christ even then:

Quote:

Erick Raymond lists some of the more offensive Driscoll quotes in his review:

For example, Driscoll, in his run through The Gospel According to Mark, describes Jesus as a guy who,

“[tells] a leper to shut-up

“does the equivalent of breaking into a church on a Sunday morning to make a sandwich with the communion bread..”

needs Paxil

needs sensitivity training

has his guys take a donkey without asking like some kleptomaniac donkeylifter

“[Is] an obvious workaholic who needed to start drinking decaf and listening to taped sounds of running water while doing aromatherapy so he could learn to relax.”

Sounds more like Kenneth Copeland's view of God--the irreverence is alarming. Criticism is reserved for Copeland who says that Jesus had taken on a sin nature and be born again in hell, but what Driscoll says is just as atrocious. Guess Driscoll gets a free pass because he mouths "TULIP" or "Reformed"? This is absolutely HORRIBLE!

More quotes from Driscoll:

“Jesus’ mom was a poor, unwed teenage girl who was mocked for claiming she conceived via the Holy Spirit. Most people thought she concocted a crazy story to cover the ‘fact’ she was knocking boots with some guy in the backseat of a car at the prom.” (p.11)

Jesus’ humor was often biting and harsh, particularly when directed at the Pharisees. For example, he called them a bag of snakes, said that their moms shagged the Devil, and mocked them for tithing out of their spice racks.” (pp. 40-41)

Joining them later at the party at Matthew’s house was nothing short of a very bad hip-hop video, complete with women in clear heels, dudes with their pants around their ankles and handguns in their underwear strap, lots of gold teeth, bling, spinners on camels, cheap liquor, and grinding to really loud music with a lot of bass. When word got out to the religious folks, they were perplexed as to how Jesus could roll with such a jacked-up posse. Jesus’ answer was purely priestly. Jesus said that they were sick and needed mercy.” (p.77)

“Some Catholic theologians taught that Jesus was not born in the normal fashion through Mary’s birth canal. Rather, they say he was born via something much like a miraculous C-section, as if Mary were some Messiah-in-the-box, and Joseph cranked her arm until the Messiah popped out of her gut.” (p. 93)

"On the cross as our substitute, Jesus was made to be the worst of what we are. This does not mean that Jesus ever sinned. Rather, it means that he was made sin. As a result, in that moment when Jesus cried out that he had been forsaken by God the Father, Jesus became the most ugly, wicked, defiled, evil, corrupt, rebellious, and hideous thing in all creation. In that moment, Jesus became a homosexual, alcoholic, thief, glutton, addict, pervert, adulterer, coveter, idol worshiper, whore, pedophile, self-righteous religious prig—and whatever else we are.” (p. 114)

End quote.

Clearly Driscoll has no fear of the HOLY HOLY HOLY God of Israel nor does he have a love for the Truth and so be saved (2Thes. 2). Rather he deceives with a tongue that is full of death and wickedness. Nothing is pure to him; he violates all that is pure.

Heb. 13:8 Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever. He is immutable. What is true of Jesus before is true of Him now.

John 5:19  So Jesus said to them, "Truly, truly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of His own accord, but ONLY WHAT He sees the Father doing. For whatever the Father does, that the Son does likewise.

Heb 1:3  He is the radiance of the glory of God and the exact imprint of his nature, and he upholds the universe by the word of his power. After making purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high,

Php 2:6  who, although He existed in the form of God, did not regard equality with God a thing to be grasped,

The apostle Paul stated the same truth, saying that Christ “existed in the form of God” (Phil. 2:6). The Greek word translated “existed” (huparcho) is not the common verb for “being” (eimi). Huparcho stresses the essence of a person’s nature—his continuous state or condition. It expresses what one is, unalterably and inalienably, by nature. Paul’s point was that Jesus Christ is unalterably and continuously existing in the form of God.

Clarifying the meaning of the Greek word translated “form” (morphe) is crucial to a proper understanding of this verse. According to respected Greek scholars Moulton and Milligan, morphe “always signifies a form which truly and fully expresses the being which underlies it.” The word describes essential being or nature—in this case the essential being of God.

In using the word morphe in Philippians 2, Paul was saying Jesus possessed the unchangeable, essential nature of God. That interpretation of the first phrase of verse 6 is strengthened by the second phrase, which says Jesus was equal with God. Being in the form of God speaks of Christ’s equality with God.

Paige Patterson President of SWBTS Admits Muslim Into Seminary, Will Be Speaking At the 2015 Shepherd's Conference

It seems that Paige Patterson remains on the line up for the 2015 Shepherd's Conference, which will be about the inerrancy of Scripture. Ironically (and dangerously), Patterson is not qualified to teach on this topic. Here are the reasons why:

The "Christian"Post reports:

As a teacher at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary back in the 1960s, Pinnock had directly influenced a number of notable Southern Baptist leaders including Paige Patterson, Jerry Vines, Adrian Rogers....

In the 1970s, however, Pinnock began to question his previous understanding of biblical inspiration. Among the beliefs he came to hold was that evangelicals should unite around our common commitment to forgiveness through the “shed blood of Jesus Christ” rather than around a common understanding of Holy Scripture.

Over time, the Canadian theologian moved from doubting the verbal inspiration of Scripture to questioning the long-standing traditions of Christian orthodoxy from almost every vantage point.
“He led the short-lived movement toward ‘open theism,’ questioning the historic church’s belief that God knows everything, including the future free decisions of his creatures,” recalled Moore.

~Surph's Side  on Pinnock's death in 2010

A few weeks ago I reported on the SWBTS's decision to admit a Muslim into their seminary's PhD program:

"Nagagreh said he has had a very good experience at the seminary thus far and will return for his second year in the fall. Patterson said he agreed to admit Nagagreh because Nagagreh agreed to follow the seminary’s lifestyle covenant, which covers personal behavior such as smoking, drinking and sexual relations.
“I also thought it provided a chance for us to have an influence on his life,” Patterson said."

End quote.

~The Washington Post, May 19, 2014

And now we see that Paige Patterson , who was reportedly influenced by heretic Clark Pinnock, and who thinks that having a Muslim at a "Christian" seminary is a good thing (he lacks basic understanding of Islam's tactics in the West, but also of Scripture that states: 2Co 6:14  Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what partnership has righteousness with lawlessness? Or what fellowship has light with darkness? 15  What accord has Christ with Belial? Or what portion does a believer share with an unbeliever?..." appearing at the next Shepherd's Conference in 2015 which is to be about the inerrancy of Scripture!

My question is: where are John MacArthur's staffers on this? Patterson should be removed immediately from the speaker line up as he doesn't believe in the AUTHORITY of Scripture at least.  Are we going to get the often used defense that others have used when choosing a man not faithful to Scripture, "Well, we may not agree with everything he believes, but he's good on the inerrancy of Scripture"? I hope not. I expect more from Grace to You and John MacArthur. I have no doubt if MacArthur heard about Patterson's admission of a Muslim into SWBTS, he would disinvite him. But as time goes on--and as I heard about this conference coming up and saw the names--I'm afraid that compromise may happen as men, although with good intentions---fear the darkness rather than the Holy One of Israel and thus run to Egypt for any help they can get. I hope, I pray that such is not the case with the Shepherd's Conference and John MacArthur....

Black and White Twins Prove One Human Race

The Singerl twins
The Singerl twins (above) are just one example where one twin is very dark and the other is very light. This is a vivid reminder that we are all one race.

Excerpts:

Over the last several decades, many examples of fraternal twins, where one is very dark (called “black”) and one very light (called “white”), have been documented. Fraternal twins usually occur when two different eggs are fertilized by two different sperm cells and implanted in the mother’s womb at the same time.
Documented examples of fraternal twins being “black” and “white” include:
  1. The Hodgson-Horder twin girls (Born April 2005 in England)1
  2. The Biggs twin girls (Born July 2006 in Australia)2
  3. The Richardson twin boys (Born July 2006 in England)3
  4. The Grant twin girls (Born 1983 in England)4
  5. The Singerl twin girls (Born May 2006 in Australia)5
According to the Bible’s history, all humans are descendants of Adam and Eve—thus only one biological race exists. All humans in the world today are classified as Homo sapiens sapiens (same genus, species, and subspecies). When the Human Genome Project published a draft of their findings in 2000, the New York Times reported that “the researchers had unanimously declared there is only one race—the human race.”  (More of the article here)

That's No Surprise: Al-Jazeera America Refuses To Air Afghanistan War Movie

A groundbreaking new movie that uniquely honors America’s troops in action and features video from both sides of the war in Afghanistan was apparently too hot to handle for the Al Jazeera America TV network....

No actors, no script, no special effects, “The Hornet’s Nest” is made from only real footage from the front lines – both video captured by the father and son and video captured from fallen Taliban fighters – revealing events as they really happened, from both sides of the battle.
Publicists for the film told WND that Al Jazeera America had conducted an interview with the filmmakers and a wounded U.S. veteran and planned a televised segment on “The Hornet’s Nest” on the network’s May 23 “America Tonight” program.
But when the time came to air the interview, the segment on “The Hornet’s Nest” was a no-show.
~WND

Why do you think Al-Jazzera bought the American network?Freedom of speech? Not on your life.

"Al Jazeera America is owned by the Al Jazeera Media Network, which, in turn, is funded by the House of Thani, the ruling family of Qatar. The network has been repeatedly accused of supporting supremacist Islamic agendas and, according to a Washington Times report, saw 22 members of its Egyptian staff resign in 2013, calling Al Jazeera a “propaganda channel” for the Muslim Brotherhood." ~WND article

Even Muslims Admit There Is No Such Thing As a Moderate Muslim That Doesn't Hold to Basic Punishments of the Quran

Like I've been saying, a Muslim is a Muslim. There is no such thing as  "moderate" Muslim. Such a term is merely window dressing for the West to let down their guard of this political religion.

Quote:
Western society is becoming more acquainted with the punishments mandated by Islamic law as the religion spreads in Europe and North America.
But punishments such as the chopping of a hand for thievery, stoning for homosexuality or death for conversion from Islam are demanded only by the radicals who support suicide bombers and the 9/11 hijackers, right? The average, “moderate” Muslim couldn’t affirm such uncivilized actions, could he?
That’s apparently wrong, according to video of a session at a recent “peace” conference held by IslamNet, an organization whose website is published in Norwegian.
An unidentified speaker is rallying the crowd around the idea that Muslims are moderate.
The crowd affirms that they consider themselves moderate, yet they still would impose the prescribed penalties.

The Price of Freedom

What kind of men were the 56 signers who adopted the Declaration of Independence and who, by their signing, committed an act of treason against the crown? To each of you, the names Franklin, Adams, Hancock and Jefferson are almost as familiar as household words. Most of us, however, know nothing of the other signers. Who were they? What happened to them?

Each had more to lose from revolution than he had to gain by it. John Hancock, one of the richest men in America, already had a price of 500 pounds on his head. He signed in enormous letters so that his Majesty could now read his name without glasses and could now double the reward. Ben Franklin wryly noted: "Indeed we must all hang together, otherwise we shall most assuredly hang separately."
Fat Benjamin Harrison of Virginia told tiny Elbridge Gerry of Massachusetts: "With me it will all be over in a minute, but you, you will be dancing on air an hour after I am gone."
These men knew what they risked. The penalty for treason was death by hanging. And remember, a great British fleet was already at anchor in New York Harbor.
They were sober men. There were no dreamy-eyed intellectuals or draft card burners here. They were far from hot-eyed fanatics yammering for an explosion. They simply asked for the status quo. It was change they resisted. It was equality with the mother country they desired. It was taxation with representation they sought. They were all conservatives, yet they rebelled.
It was principle, not property, that had brought these men to Philadelphia.....
Continue reading here for this facsinating account of the price the signers of the Declaration of Independence paid.

Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary Admits First Muslim

"Nagagreh said he has had a very good experience at the seminary thus far and will return for his second year in the fall. Patterson said he agreed to admit Nagagreh because Nagagreh agreed to follow the seminary’s lifestyle covenant, which covers personal behavior such as smoking, drinking and sexual relations.

“I also thought it provided a chance for us to have an influence on his life,” Patterson said."

End quote.

~The Washington Post

Wow, you couldn't get more stupid if you tried. The Muslims are looking for stupid Westerners through whom they can infiltrate our country and schools. Not to mention Satan doing the same on a grander scale among the wheat.

What pragmatic idiocy by Patterson. Of COURSE the Muslim would agree to a more conservative lifestyle. Just agree to outward moralism but ignore the blatant idolatry and wickedness of Islam (never mind that Islam teaches polygamy and wife beating along with murdering Christians and Jews and in some cases fellow Muslims). As long as no outward immorality, but it's ok that the Muslim isn't required to adhere to Yahweh and Scripture! THAT is condemning.

If anyone had any doubt about the downfall of SWBTS before, there should be NONE now. All they want is $$$$$. And the reality is that little Islam guy will do his proselytizing right there in the seminary. Guarantee you that there will be moronic seminary students who fancy themselves so educated and open minded that they will be seduced by the demon of Allah to accept Islam as compatible with Christianity (they don't hate us!). This will be applauded by Trick Warren too b/c he does the same thing. Shame. Shame. Shame on them all.

Tullian Tchividjian Drops The "Gospel" Coalition Amid Sovereign Grace Ministries Sodomy Scandal

Tullian Tchividjian is slamming Sovereign Grace Ministries for its handling of a sex abuse scandal, while announcing this week that his participation with The Gospel Coalition will unexpectedly end on Thursday....

While the lawsuit was thrown out due to statute of limitations, Tchividjian said that unlike many of those connected to TGC who considered Mahaney a friend and claimed that he had "been the object of libel and even a Javert-like obsession by some," he saw the situation differently. In his eyes, given that Mahaney's brother-in-law and fellow former pastor at Covenant Life Church had confessed to knowing about sex abuse claims and withholding that information from police last week, the SGM pastor was guilty.
"Give me a break. These people, they're family. Of course he knew," Tchividjian told The Christian Post. "C. J. was, for many years, the micro-managing head of the organization and nothing happened under the umbrella of Sovereign Grace that he wasn't made aware of, so for anyone to say, 'Well he didn't know,' that's totally naive."
Tchividjian added that he was "pretty disturbed" when Don Carson, Kevin DeYoung, and Justin Taylor published a statement on TGC website in May 2013 which defended Mahaney, saying that it looked "like the good-old boys club covering their own."
"I thought it was premature. I thought it was insensitive. I communicated with the guys who wrote this statement that I was disappointed, that I thought it was unwise and premature and that they needed to clarify that their statement was not a statement from The Gospel Coalition, per se, but was their own personal statement," Tchividjian explained.
"There were some of us on the coalition, or who were associated with it, who didn't want to be associated with their defense of C. J.," he continued. "I've just been sort of disgusted by the whole thing."
End quote.
It is a good ole boys' club. So is Together For the "Gospel" as is just about all of the coalitions, conferences, non-denom denoms, etc. And the disgusting thing is that everyone circles around each other to keep that fake unity facade going, instead of having integrity and loyalty to Christ and His sheep. How many people will continue to excuse Mahaney, Harris, and all of them over there by saying "well who's perfect?" They have been great vessels of God! Who are we to reject men who have done some great good?" Folks, listen. This issue is about covering up homosexual (sodomy) lust and abuse on little boys, and refusing to listen to those who were victims, UNTIL AFTER the jury's verdict! The elitists think they are the anointed of God and whom NO ONE should DARE question, challenge, or accuse. After all, they are theologians, pastors, authors, and conference speakers. This should ENRAGE the biblical Christian.

Pat Robertson Denies Scripture Yet Again

"Responding to Pat Robertson's comments that Young Earth Creationists are "deaf, dumb and blind," Ken Ham of the Creation Museum accused the CBN host of compromising Scripture and thus serving as "one of the biggest problems we have today in the church."

"Pat Robertson illustrates one of the biggest problems we have today in the church-people like Robertson compromise the Word of God with the pagan ideas of fallible men!" Ham posted on his Facebook page on Tuesday
"That's why a big part of the AiG ministry is to call the church and culture back to the authority of the Word. Pat Robertson is not upholding the Word of God with his ridiculous statements -- he is undermining the authority of the Word."."
~The 'Christian' Post

This is why the Charismatic movement is accursed: it denies the the completion, sufficiency, and sole authority of Scripture, therefore one can deny anything as Pat Robertson does. He's already proven to be a false prophet, but he continues in his damnation by sitting in the seat of scoffers and echoing the words of the ancient Serpent "Hath God said"? By attacking Scripture on multiple fronts, Robertson proves to not hear the voice if the Good Shepherd and thus reviles against the Truth. He has not received a love for the Truth.

Joh 10:3  "To him the doorkeeper opens, and the sheep hear his voice, and he calls his own sheep by name and leads them out.
Joh 10:4  "When he puts forth all his own, he goes ahead of them, and the sheep follow him because they know his voice.
Joh 10:5  "A stranger they simply will not follow, but will flee from him, because they do not know the voice of strangers."

2Th 2:10  and with all the deception of wickedness for those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth so as to be saved.
2Th 2:11  For this reason God will send upon them a deluding influence so that they will believe what is false,
2Th 2:12  in order that they all may be judged who did not believe the truth, but took pleasure in wickedness.

Why warn the wicked, wont they call us trouble makers?

It is the duty of God’s servants to warn men of their danger...It is their duty to rebuke wickedness wherever it be found. . . . This will not make for their popularity, for it will condemn and irritate the wicked, and such plain speaking will seriously annoy them. Those who expose hypocrites, resist tyrants, oppose the wicked, are ever viewed by them as troublemakers. But as Christ declared, ‘Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for My sake. Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you…" (Matthew 5:11,12).

NFL: a sodomite treated with kid gloves; a Christian treated like an abomination

This is backwards and anyone with half a working mind knows it.

Quote:

With the league and the media seemingly embracing Sam, attention has turned to a player that’s not currently playing – Tim Tebow – and raising questions if there is a double standard on how the two were received and treated.
Tebow, who last appeared for the New England Patriots during training camp in 2013, sat out the season after no other team decided to sign him. Despite his previous success, Tebow has been slammed for his play and mocked by some for his Christian beliefs in some media outlets.
Peter Roff, a contributing editor at U.S. News & World Report, wrote in April 2013 that Tebow was treated like a “circus freak” by the New York media after he was traded by the Denver Broncos to the New York Jets.
“Tebow, you see, is a Christian – and is fairly open about. He seems to take the Biblical admonition not to hide one’s faith under a bushel rather literally,” Roff wrote. “He’s used eye black to put scriptural citations on his face on game days. He prays in public and talks about God in an utterly respectful, even loving way. He and his mother appeared in a Superbowl Sunday television ad that talked about the virtues of life and directed people to a website where they could learnmore about abortion.
“The secular crowd, New York sports writers included, have never forgiven him for any of that,” Roff continued. “When he arrived at the Meadowlands he was treated more like a circus freak than the guy who helped Denver make the playoffs the previous year and might just be the thing to get the Jets offense in line.”

Short Term Missions Trips: are they helpful or hurtful?

I had a chat with Moishe Rosen, founder of Jews for Jesus online one time and he was adamant about how short term trips are not helpful as they often cause far more stress on the hosting missionaries than the help given by the short term missionaries (Its hard to call them that when it's so short--more like visitors). I believe that in our culture, most who go on short term missions really just want a paid vacation. I figure that if someone is wanting to see if they want to go in that direction of ministry, they'd already being evangelizing locally. In just about every case I know of (and' tis the season for the income barrage of money requests for these trips), none of them are already evangelizing. Most never go on either, to be missionaries. We wouldn't dabble with people stepping into the pulpit for a few weeks just to see if they are shepherds, would we? Also, the other problem is the presumption that Christians are to pay the way of these folks. It's wrong. These young people (usually they are young) want to go on a trip, let them work for it and stop putting friends, family, and churches in an uncomfortable situation of having to say "no". They should plan ahead like everyone else that desires to go abroad.

Those folks in the video have no clue about the Great Commission, nor how to make disciples of Jesus which tells me they are just as lost and are merely into social justice--something even Hollywood does. They make my point---they think if people like us ("kill them with kindness") they'll like Jesus. This is a FATAL FLAW. It's man-centered and is NOT evangelism. And these people want others to pay their way to go build a house or serve a meal or "just love on them"? I'm sorry, but Jesus DID walk into people's lives (where they were "at", btw--that false accusation of preaching to people being cold and heartless is tiresome) and told them of their sin and need of repentance or face Hell.

Lopez On Twincest and Homofacism

If you are a pair of gorgeous brothers dedicating your life to building homes for the poor, but you criticize homosexuality, you must be stripped of your life’s work and publicly humiliated. But if you are a pair of gorgeous brothers who decide to have unprotected anal sex with each other in front of the camera, the gay community will shower you with praise....
In the utmost irony, as allegations mount about rampant abuse of teenage boys and young adults in the Los Angeles entertainment industry by homosexuals, Pasadena City Collegerejects a black expert in public health who was going to speak at their commencement.  Not content merely to block him from speaking at commencement, whoever was behind this smear campaign went farther and pushed and pushed at Pasadena City Hall, until this black doctor with many years of public service got placed on leave.

And then the irony is compounded.  Get this: having destroyed the career of yet another fully clothed, dignified black professional, the gay agitators replaced him for Pasadena City College’s commencement with Dustin Lance Black, someone with far less education, a man who traipses around in public with a youth less than half his age, whom he decided to seduce after seeing Tom Daly in a Speedo at the 2012 Olympics when the lad was just eighteen years old (and Black was closing in on forty).

Guess what, gay haters – whether this crap is “legal” or not isn’t the point.  It’s disgusting. And it’s becoming not just a fringe element of gay life, but rather the mainstay of a community whose members on stepping out of their glass houses and throwing stones at other people.

~Robert Oscar Lopez in American Thinker  (Read the whole article).

The "Gay 90's" And Where We Are Today

"Ever heard of the “Gay '90s?”  The 1890s saw a fin-de-siècle cult of aesthetical excess that allowed promiscuous cads, homosexuals, demimonde solicitors, and pornographers to flourish in wealthy cities like Paris and Chicago, while the poor lived twenty to a room and the masses starved.
Back then, the term “gay” didn’t mean homosexual, but the ties between the two words were already being forged.  “Gay” meant devil-may-care, a bit self-indulgent, irreverent, the bon vivant of the party who downs cocktails, engages in forbidden pleasures, and charms his way out of trouble.... “Gay” men were serial bachelors, deadbeat dads, bisexuals, homosexuals, drifters, gamblers, cross-dressers, opium addicts, and circuit boys."
End quote.

Lopez goes on to discuss the faked hate crimes by sodomites themselves, in order to get sympathy for them (and hostility against Christians), but the FACTS prove that they were faked. Dishonesty for the sodomite agenda defenders, is apparently the best policy. After all, if it hasn't happened, pretend it has and does, and then cause the crowds to hate ("H8") those you want to bully. Lopeze goes on after giving a list of numerous cases of faked hate crimes:
"At every turn, the show must go on. In the face of overwhelming evidence that things are going badly for gay people there’s HIVsuicides caused by romantic cruelty from other gays, intimate partner violenceeating disordershigh addiction rateshigh divorce rates, rampant sexual assaultsyphilisemotional abuse – personal interest stories are trotted out to distract people from unflattering statistics from the Urban Institute, the CDC, and the Department of Justice, while the public is pounded over the head with comparatively unimportant, and in any case shoddy, statistics showing that kids with gay parents get okay grades in school and have acceptable levels of self-esteem.  (So it’s okay to rip them away from one of their biological parents forever?)"
