The latest issue off ICR's "Acts And Facts", offers an important article by Henry Morris III, titled, "The Deceptive Dance of Compromise".
Morris brings to our attention the deception of the group, Biologos**, which is trying to merge all sorts of people who deny the biblical account of Creation according to Genesis 1-2. This group is comprised of "intellectuals", "theologians", "Christians", "atheists", and "scientists". They are having a symposium called "The Vibrant Dance Of Faith And Science".
One of the most noteable names to be attached to Biologos in recent years is Reformergent Tim Keller, with glowing endorsements by Os Guiness, Chuck Colson, and Philip Yancey. I reported a year ago about his close connection with this anti-biblical group who deny God's Word.
What is amazing is the growing number of "Evangelical" "Christians" (although "evangelical means nothing now, considering that such a label is worn by Anglicans like Guiness, pro-Romanists like Colson, and pro-homosexuals like Yancey). Of late, many will remember the battle for Creation was added to by John Piper who denies the Genesis account of Creation and instead places faith in the doctrine of demons called "Old Age" theory.
This latest article lists the speakers and co-sponsors at this event. You might be surprised by who's involved. Andy Crouch, Hugh Ross, Alister McGrath, World Magazine, among them.
ICR continues its strong stand on Scripture and I continue to thank the Lord for their ministry of not compromising. May the Lord bless them and keep them loyal to HIM alone, whatever the cost.

Listen, no Christian denies the clear proclamation of a literal six-day Creation as God says in His Word. To deny this is to deny the authority of God and to have unbelief in Scripture. That, my friends, is what the enemy of the cross does.
Consider the connection between God as Creator, Sustainer, and Sovereign King in this passage; and to deny one part is to deny the whole:
Psa 33:4 For the word of the LORD is upright, And all His work is done in faithfulness.
Psa 33:5 He loves righteousness and justice; The earth is full of the lovingkindness of the LORD.
Psa 33:6 By the word of the LORD the heavens were made, And by the breath of His mouth all their host.

*** BioLogos Team Members include Pete Enns, who was forced to leave Westminster Theological Seminary because he does not believe in the full inspiritation of all of Scripture. Greg Beale reviews his book here which reveals the major heresy Enns holds. Its no wonder Enns is onboard with Biologos: he denies the infallibility of Scripture.

The Serpent's Spokesman: Dr. Francis Collins of BioLogos; newly appointed "Christian" to the NIH by Obama
ICR reveals Obama's new pick to head the National Institute for Health (NIH) and what he believes while claiming to be a Christian. Here are some excerpts from the Serpent's spokesman proclaim, "Hath God said?":

Given Coleson's embracing of a false religion like Romanism which teaches a works-justification and works-salvation, its no wonder he has no problem calling someone who denies a literal Fall and a literal Adam and Eve as "brother".
The problem is that people who claim Christ, sit in the seat of scoffers and mimmick what the Serpent said in the Garden to Eve, "Hath God said?". They speak the words of God's Adversary, the Devil, the Evil One, Satan. Just like the woman, they ponder the words of the Father of Lies, finding "truth" in it, and then partaking of it. This is no less than pure, unadulterated unbelief. God has already told us how He created all things:
Gen 1:1 In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth...3 And God said, "Let there be light," and there was light...31 And God saw everything that he had made, and behold, it was very good. And there was evening and there was morning, the sixth day.
Heb 1:2 but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed the heir of all things, through whom also he created the world.
Col 1:13 He has delivered us from the domain of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of his beloved Son, 14 in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins. 15 He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. 16 For by him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities--all things were created through him and for him. 17 And he is before all things, and in him all things hold together.
Heb 11:3 By faith we understand that the universe was created by the word of God, so that what is seen was not made out of things that are visible.
People seem to neglect the truth of Hebrews 11 about faith:
Heb 11:1 "Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen." What do we put our faith into? What's one of the FIRST THINGS we have faith in? That God is Creator and He created by His Word.
Deny a literal 6 Day Creation, then deny a literal Adam and Eve and Fall. Deny that and one MUST deny a literal Savior who is the Second Adam and who literally died in the place of sinners and was literally resurrected from the dead! There is no difference between this garbage of "Theistic evolutionism" and evolutionism. Its plain unbelief.
For "Christian" leaders to endorse this absolute filth to "bridge" faith (in what???) and science (evolution isn't science..its a theory and a belief system based on man-centered hatred toward God), is unbiblical, unloving, and pathetic.
Psa 1:1 Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the wicked, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of scoffers;
Psa 1:2 but his delight is in the law of the LORD, and on his law he meditates day and night.
Psa 1:3 He is like a tree planted by streams of water that yields its fruit in its season, and its leaf does not wither. In all that he does, he prospers.
2Co 6:15 What accord has Christ with Belial? Or what portion does a believer share with an unbeliever?
2Co 6:16 What agreement has the temple of God with idols? For we are the temple of the living God; as God said, "I will make my dwelling among them and walk among them, and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
2Co 6:17 Therefore go out from their midst, and be separate from them, says the Lord, and touch no unclean thing; then I will welcome you..
I guess Keller, Guiness, and Yancey see God's Word as optional.
Then again so do most "Christians"--even "solid" ones.

The Doctrine of Creation Is Inseparable To The Doctrine of The Fall And Of Redeption
Heb 11:1 Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. 2 For by it the people of old received their commendation. 3 By faith we understand that the universe was created by the word of God, so that what is seen was not made out of things that are visible.
The reason so many theologians end up rejecting biblical Christianity to one level or another, is because they don't really believe God's Word is inspired by Him, inerrant,living, active, and clear. Therefore every wayward "Christian leader" has denied the Genesis account of Creation as it is written, mouthing the words of the ancient serpent, the Devil, "Has God said?"
If you find a man off on any major doctrine of Scripture, most assuredly he will be off with the Beginning.
For example:
John Piper, purveyor of cussing x-rated, justification-by-works, universalist and pelagian preachers, denies the Genesis account as written and holds to the damnable Evoultion theory of the Gap Theory.
John Stott, Anglican and denier of a literal Hell , denies the creation of Adam from dust by God's hand.
Peter Enns, suspended then forced to exit from Westminster Theological Seminary for his heretical book that denies of the the innerancy of Scripture , flat out denies the Adam of Scripture as the first man created and our head (Romans 5).
Mike Huckabee, ex-pastor and former presidential candidate refused to declare faith in the Genesis account; leaving it open to either six literal days or the evolution Gap theory.
Tim Keller, Reformergent and endorser/writer for the evolutionistic Biologos, also doesn't know how God created; denies the sufficiency of Scripture. ; denies a literal Genesis account (p. 4-5 "Creation, Evolution, and Lay People")
Justin Taylor of The "Gospel" Coalition and Reformation 21 denies a literal six 24 hour day creation.
J.I. Packer endorses a book on evolution and wrote the forward to another book on evolution. Answers In Genesis has written critiques on these two books here and here.
Are you seeing a pattern?
If you have a problem with faith in Genesis 1-3 as written, that is to say, as declared by God and understood in its clear, simple proclamation, you WILL have doctrinal heresy elsewhere. Guaranteed. Why? Because True faith, given by God to His elect at regeneration, has as its first object the Creator God. Heb. 11:1-3 states this boldly. After defining true faith, the first object of our faith is "we understand that the universe was created by the word of God, so that what is seen was not made out of things that are visible." If you deny this, deny God created this universe as HE SAID, by His word instantly, then you have no real faith.

It reveals purpose not only in creation, but also as part of redemptive history. The doctrine of creation is absolutely inseparable from the doctrine of redemption."
Lawrence Ford, Executive Editor of ICR's "Acts And Facts" correctly states:
"Genesis 1:1 states, "In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth." This is the first and foremost apologetic. If a person stumbles on this one profound truth, a lifetime of doubt and confusion lies ahead for him, full of uncertainty about the ultimate purpose for being alive. But when a Christian attempts to alter this ultimate statement of reality to fit the compromising philosophies of men--even scientifically-trained professionals--then woe to him for his unbelief and, even graver still, for teaching others that unbelief."

If we cannot trust the creation account, then why should we trust anything else on the pages of scripture? It is sad to say that even the secular world has through the years better understood this than many Christians.

Their evolution of creation extends to their evolution of a Christian. This is not the way of Scripture. It is no small thing to deny the straightforward creation account of Genesis Chapter 1. And we could go so far as to say that in actuality, the Bible itself stands or falls with the historical accuracy of Genesis 1. If we cannot trust the creation account, then why should we trust anything else on the pages of scripture? It is sad to say that even the secular world has through the years better understood this than many Christians.

If someone believes in Evolution on any level, they will also believe in a man-centered gospel and think they have some good in them and not only that, they can loose their salvation. Their evolution of creation extends to their evolution of a Christian. This is not the way of Scripture. Just as God created this universe by His mere word and it instantly came into being, so too is our New Creation in Christ, just as instantaneous. Both are held by the power of HIS Word:

Studying Themselves Away From Truth: Reformers at the forefront of denying biblical Creation

Dr. Terry Mortenson of Answers In Genesis has roundly demolished Justin Taylor's sinful attack against the Genesis account of a young earth created in six 24 hour days here.
John Piper, purveyor of cussing x-rated, justification-by-works, universalist and pelagian preachers, denies the Genesis account as written and holds to the damnable Evoultion theory of the Gap Theory. He is also soft on sodomy now.
John Stott, Anglican and denier of a literal Hell , denies the creation of Adamfrom dust by God's hand.
Peter Enns, suspended then forced to exit from Westminster Theological Seminary for his heretical book that denies of the the innerancy of Scripture , flat out denies the Adam of Scripture as the first man created and our head (Romans 5).
Mike Huckabee, ex-pastor and former presidential candidate refused to declare faith in the Genesis account; leaving it open to either six literal days or the evolution Gap theory. (He is not a Reformer, just to be clear.)
Tim Keller, Reformergent and endorser/writer for the evolutionistic Biologos, also doesn't know how God created; denies the sufficiency of Scripture. ;denies a literal Genesis account (p. 4-5 "Creation, Evolution, and Lay People")

Not only is this assinine, its completely against Scripture. What's to not know? God has told us how He created: by HIS Word, and immediately things came into being. He told how how long it took: six days. So simple children understand and believe.

Scripture says those in Christ do know the Truth, for God's Word is Truth, Jesus is Truth, and we have the Spirit of Truth Who will lead us into all truth.
