Fox News Analysist Has False Conversion Story And Says Christians Should Accept Sodomy

Kristin Powers, a Democrat Fox News analysist went from atheist to "Christianity". But is she really a Christian?

No. She merely had a bizarre mystical experience like so many silly women today.
Here's Power's "testimony". Note that it lacks any biblical foundation, not the least of which is the conviction of her absolute wretched unholiness before the thrice Holy God. She says nothing about repentance of her sin (nor apparently did her "Jesus"). The biblical Jesus taught about repentance (turning away from) one's sin and turning to Him alone for salvation and the forgiveness of sin. Her dream is very similar to those of Muslims who claim Jesus appeared to them in dreams and they get "saved". The problem is that they too, have  "Jesus" that never tells them of their sinful wickedness before HIM, nor does their "Jesus" declare Himself to be God the Son, worthy of worship, Creator, and Judge as well as Master ("Lord") and Savior. Their "Jesus" doesn't tell them that He's the ONLY way, the ONLY truth, and the ONLY life, and that NO ONE goes to the Father but through HIM alone, apart from works.

Quote:

Powers, a Democratic commentator at Fox News, was an atheist for much of her life until she says she had a personal encounter with Jesus, as WND reported in December.
It was in 2006 during an overseas trip that Powers says, “I woke up in what felt like a strange cross between a dream and reality. Jesus came to me and said, ‘Here I am.’”
“It felt so real. I didn’t know what to make of it,” Powers explained in Christianity Today. “I called my boyfriend, but before I had time to tell him about it, he told me he had been praying the night before and felt we were supposed to break up. So we did. Honestly, while I was upset, I was more traumatized by Jesus visiting me.
End quote.

And SHE'S going to lecture US on sodomy and the Bible? A woman given to bizarre dreams?
She goes on to say that Christians should accept homosexuality and uses two liberal, anti-biblical "Christian" authors to "prove" her point.Matthew Vine whom she cites, is notorious for his rebellion against God as a sodomite "Christian".

She knows nothing about biblical truth.

God's condemnation of homosexuality is abundantly clear--He opposes it in every age.

- In the patriarchs (Genesis 19:1-28)

- In the Law of Moses (Leviticus 18:2220:13)

- In the Prophets (Ezekiel 16:46-50)

- In the New Testament (Romans 1:18-271 Corinthians 6:9-10Jude 7-8)

1Co 6:9  Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals,
1Co 6:10  nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, will inherit the kingdom of God.
1Co 6:11  And such  WERE some of you.  BUT you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.

There is hope to escape the bondage and sin of sodomy and other sexual immorality as well as all sin and it's curse: faith and trust in the Person and work of biblical Lord Jesus Christ. He alone can free a person from their sin. He alone can raise the dead to life.

We don't need celebrity "Christians"---especially when they fight AGAINST biblical truth.
