Joh 14:15
"If you love Me, you
will keep My commandments.
Joh 15:10 "If you keep My
commandments, you will abide in My love; just as I have kept My Father's
commandments and abide in His love.
Faith is an assurance of confident expectation of God and His Word, and is based on evidence of those truths which is found solely in Scripture.
Heb 11:6 And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him.
True faith is convinced by Scripture that God is the Self-Existent One, Creator of all things by the power of His Word:
Joh 8:24 "Therefore I said to you that you will die in your sins; for unless you believe that I am, you will die in your sins."
Joh 8:58 Jesus said to them, "Truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham was born, I am."
Exo 3:14 God said to Moses, "I AM WHO I AM"; and He said, "Thus you shall say to the sons of Israel, 'I AM has sent me to you.'"
Heb 1:3 And He is the radiance of His glory and the exact representation of His nature, and upholds all things by the word of His power. When He had made purification of sins, He sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high,
Heb 11:6 And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him.
Col 1:15 He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation
Col 1:16 For by Him all things were created, both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities--all things have been created through Him and for Him.
Col 1:17 He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together.
Col 1:17 He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together.
Joh 17:3 "This is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.
Heb 11:3 By faith we understand that the worlds were prepared by the word of God, so that what is seen was not made out of things which are visible.
Heb 1:2 in these last days has spoken to us in His Son, whom He appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the world.
2Jo 1:9 Everyone who goes on ahead and does not abide in the teaching of Christ, does not have God. Whoever abides in the teaching has both the Father and the Son.
True faith is inseparably constrained to conviction and assurance of spiritual truth and spiritual reality according to the Word.
It is not constrained to falsehoods like evolution, psychologies and other doctrines of demons that the world teaches.
1Jn 2:21 I have not written to you because you do not know the truth, but because you do know it, and because no lie is of the truth.
True faith is inseparably constrained to the sound doctrine of Creation, that is to say, the conviction, assurance, and understanding of a literal six day creation just as God’s Word has said. This has to do with the very nature and authority of God.
Jas 1:18 Of His own will He brought us forth by the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of His creatures.
Eph 1:13 In Him, you also, after listening to the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation
Heb 1:3 And He is the radiance of His glory and the exact representation of His nature, and upholds all things by the word of His power. When He had made purification of sins, He sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high,
Heb 11:3 By faith we understand that the worlds were prepared by the word of God, so that what is seen was not made out of things which are visible.
Joh 17:3 "This is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.
Col 1:16 For by Him all things were created, both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities--all things have been created through Him and for Him.
To not have faith and understanding that God is Creator and made all things out of nothing in six literal days according to Scripture is to not be saved:
2Jo 1:9 Everyone who goes on ahead and does not abide in the teaching of Christ, does not have God. Whoever abides in the teaching has both the Father and the Son.
2Th 2:10 and with all the deception of wickedness for those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth so as to be saved.
2Th 2:11 For this reason God will send upon them a deluding influence so that they will believe what is false,
2Th 2:11 For this reason God will send upon them a deluding influence so that they will believe what is false,
1Ti 4:1 But the Spirit explicitly says that in later times some will fall away from the faith, paying attention to deceitful spirits and doctrines of demons,
1Ti 4:2 by means of the hypocrisy of liars seared in their own conscience as with a branding iron,
True faith is inseparably constrained to sound doctrine.
