Luke 6:46  "Why do you call me 'Lord, Lord,' and not do what I tell you?

James and Paul both echo Jesus' preaching. Paul's emphasis is an echo of Matthew 5:3: "Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven." James's teaching has the ring of Matthew 7:21: "Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven; but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven."

Paul represents the beginning of the Sermon on the Mount; James the end of it. Paul declares that we are saved by faith without the deeds of the law. James declares that we are saved by faith, which shows itself in works. Both James and Paul view good works as the proof of faith—not the path to salvation.

James could not be more explicit. He is confronting the concept of a passive, false "faith," which is devoid of the fruits of salvation. He is not arguing for works in addition to or apart from faith. He is showing why and how, true, living faith always works. He is fighting against dead orthodoxy and its tendency to abuse grace.

The error James assails is faith without works; justification without sanctification; salvation without new life.

Again, James echoes the Master Himself, who insisted on a theology of lordship that involved obedience, not lip-service. Jesus chided the disobedient ones who had attached themselves to Him in name only: "Why do you call Me, 'Lord, Lord,' and do not do what I say?" (Luke 6:46). Verbal allegiance, He said, will get no one to heaven: "Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven; but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven" (Matt. 7:21).

Australia Fixed Their Illegal Immigration Problem, So Should We

In the past seven months, not one single illegal immigrant arrived on Australian shores. Not one single boat has docked on the Australian coastline.

Compare this to the preceding four year period: Over 50,000 illegal immigrants arrived on Australian shores. More than 800 boats. Upwards of 1,000 people drowned at sea. A budget blowout of more than $10.3 billion...

The Australian people silently revolted. They saw them, rightly, as “queue-jumpers” and believed it was unfair to genuine refugees (Australia already has a generous refugee intake) and those seeking to come the right way. They were devastated at the deaths of men, women and children on the high seas, who had been encouraged to take the perilous journey. And they were concerned about how much money this fiasco was costing. Not to mention the fact we didn’t know who these people were. Were they compatible with our way of life?

So, they threw out the government at the national election in September 2013. One of the incoming government’s core election promises was to “stop the boats.” Immediately, Prime Minister Tony Abbott got to work.

As he couldn’t stop the boats overnight, in those first few months, his government gave the illegal immigrants arriving to Australia two options: “You’ve arrived in Australia illegally. As a result, you will never get to stay here. You will never get to be an Australian. So, you have two options – we will take you to a processing center, and you will wait in detention for your asylum application to be processed. Or we will fly you home for free.”

In addition to this, the Abbott government got the Australian military to enforce its border protection, intercepting boats, turning them around, and even towing them back. And it applied pressure on Indonesia, by demanding it secure its own border.

Soon, the message got out, and the boats have stopped. It’s an ongoing issue that requires vigilance, but it has been achieved. Australia’s policy has been exceptionally effective in saving lives. It’s been done amid incessant howling from the left and the mainstream media.

Our Post-Thinking Era

Some have said that we are living in a post-industrial era, while others have said that we are living in a post-racial era. But growing evidence suggests that we are living in a post-thinking era.

Many people in Europe and the Western Hemisphere are staging angry protests against Israel’s military action in Gaza. One of the talking points against Israel is that far more Palestinian civilians have been killed by Israeli military attacks than the number of Israeli civilians killed by the Hamas rocket attacks on Israel that started this latest military conflict.

Are these protesters aware that vastly more German civilians were killed by American bombers attacking Nazi Germany during World War II than American civilians killed in the United States by Hitler’s forces?

Has any other country, in any other war, been expected to keep the enemy’s civilian casualties no higher than its own civilian casualties? The idea that Israel should do so did not originate among the masses but among the educated intelligentsia.

In an age when scientists are creating artificial intelligence, too many of our educational institutions seem to be creating artificial stupidity.

Geraldo Rivera has denounced the Drudge Report for carrying news stories that show some of the negative consequences and dangers from allowing vast numbers of youngsters to enter the country illegally and be spread across the country by the Obama administration.

The attack against Matt Drudge has been in the classic tradition of demagogues. It turns questions of fact into questions of motive. Geraldo accuses Drudge of trying to start a “civil war.”

Back when masses of immigrants from Europe were entering this country, those with dangerous diseases were turned back from Ellis Island. Nobody thought they had a legal or a moral “right” to be in America or that it was mean or racist not to want our children to catch their diseases.

Gaza's Attack Last Sunday On A UN School Turns Out To Have Been Staged By Hamas

“The account promoted by Hamas and repeated by the United States and the U.N. on Sunday was that an Israeli mortar hit a U.N. school, killing 10 people, including children. However, evidence is emerging that the Israeli strike hit outside of the school and the bodies were moved into the courtyard to make it look like Israel hit the school.” Will Obama apologize to Israel? Will the UN? Don’t hold your breath.

At least 10 people were killed and dozens more wounded after a projectile struck a street outside the school gates on Sunday morning.

A senior UN official, UN OCHA director, John Ging, confirms what the IDF and other informed experts have been saying all along, but to little avail. In a television interview yesterday,  Ging said that Hamas terrorists "are firing their rockets into Israel from the vicinity of UN facilities and residential areas."

Yesterday, three young Israeli soldiers were killed when they entered a booby-trapped UN School.

The History of Islam In America

President Obama’s remarks thanking Muslims for “building the very fabric of our nation” and claiming they were in part responsible for “the core of our democracy” have left many in and outside of Washington scratching their heads. But the Founding Fathers would find the comments even more baffling.

Far from incorporating Islam into America’s early tapestry, their own writings reveal the Founding Fathers were at war with the creed and its adherents.

In 1801, President Jefferson sent the Navy to the Barbary Coast to stop Islamic pirates’ reign of terror on U.S. merchant ships. Jefferson read the Quran to understand what was motivating the pirates, and he learned that the Muslim holy book commanded the faithful to “plunder and enslave” non-Muslims.

In 1814, after Tripoli broke its truce and began attacking U.S. ships again, former President John Adams wrote Jefferson a letter advising that Islam’s founder and prophet was “a military fanatic.” In another writing, he condemned Islamic law as “contemptible.”

His son and future president, John Quincy Adams, went further, arguing that the essence of Islam is “violence and lust: to exalt the brutal over the spiritual part of human nature.” He suggested the Quran’s commands to fight and conquer other lands “in the cause of Allah” were at odds with democracy, peace and the Judeo-Christian ethic on which America was founded.

“The precept of the Koran is perpetual war against all who deny that Muhammad is the prophet of God,” he added. “The vanquished may purchase their lives by the payment of tribute; the victorious may be appeased by a false and delusive promise of peace; and the faithful follower of the prophet may submit to the imperious necessities of defeat: but the command to propagate the Muslim creed by the sword is always obligatory, when it can be made effective. The commands of the prophet may be performed alike by fraud or by force.”

In regard to the slave trade, WND goes on to say:

Historians, however, have disputed such a large percentage. They estimate slaves imported to the 13 colonies from predominantly Muslim areas of Africa until 1808 – the year the U.S. outlawed the international slave trade – numbered in the thousands, not hundreds of thousands.

The population of Muslims in America remained so tiny after emancipation that not a single mosque was established in this country until 1934. Called the “Mother Mosque of America,” it stands today in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

No Muslims, in fact, are recorded fighting in the Civil War or World War I.

It wasn’t until immigration was liberalized in the 1960s that large waves of Muslims began moving to America. At that time, their presence totaled under 150,000. Though their numbers today total in the millions, Muslims still make up less than one percent (0.8 percent) of the population, according to the Pew Research Center, and will only account for 1.7 percent by 2030.

With such a small population, critics say it’s implausible that Muslim Americans would have the outsized influence on American society that Obama credits them with having.

Muslims did not establish their own political institutions in America until the 1980s, and they didn’t elect a representative to Congress until 2007.

How much more true of playing around the viper's hole of witches, vampires, sorcerers, and "dark angels", horoscopes, Strange Fire (false prophets who move in the occult), holding to evolution and psychology? Playing with ANY form of evil will have it's effect.

Good is not mixed with evil. Good is by definition, pure, as God has set forth. We aren't to find good IN evil, pull it out and declare we're holding on to that which is good. Phil. 4:8 says to think on whatever is true, pure...  

May we be like Joseph and run, not stand there and contemplate (like Eve did) and say, "How could I do this great evil and sin against God?".

Jon Voight's Open Letter To Anti-Semites In Hollywood

Jon Voight begins his letter:

"My name is Jon Voight and I am more than angry, I am heartsick that people like Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem could incite anti-Semitism all over the world and are oblivious to the damage they have caused. "

After giving a brief HISTORY lesson of modern Israel, Jon Voight ends with these thoughts:

"You have forgotten how this war started. Did Hamas not kidnap and kill three young teenagers for the sake of killing, and celebrated after the killing?  What a travesty of justice.

NASA & NOAA Scientists Caught Manipulating Temperature Data To Support "Global Warming"

Global Warming "deniers" continue to be vindicated as evidence of agenda-driven "scientists" manipulate weather data.

“Yeah, absolutely,” he said with a laugh. “Look, it’s frustrating when the science is in front of us…We can argue about how. But let’s not argue about what’s going on. The science is compelling… The baseline fact of climate change is not something we can afford to deny. And if you profess leadership in this country at this moment in our history, then you’ve got to recognize this is going to be one of the most significant long-term challenges, if not the most significant long-term challenge, that this country faces and that the planet faces.”

“Those start multiplying, then people start thinking, ‘You know what? We’re going to reward politicians who talk to us honestly and seriously about this problem,’” he said.

As the president has ramped up his attempts to curb climate change, progressive groups have amped up their attacks on climate change deniers, too.

So here's the most recent fraud concerning "global warming"or aka Climategate. Other evidence has come out, like the  two email scandals :

"Three themes are emerging from the newly released emails: (1) prominent scientists central to the global warming debate are taking measures to conceal rather than disseminate underlying data and discussions; (2) these scientists view global warming as a political “cause” rather than a balanced scientific inquiry and (3) many of these scientists frankly admit to each other that much of the science is weak and dependent on deliberate manipulation of facts and data."

So now we have the latest scandal in that "undeniable" global "warming":

When the raw data is used, there is little if any evidence of global warming and some evidence of global cooling. However, once the data has been adjusted - ie fabricated by computer models -  20th century 'global warming' suddenly looks much more dramatic.

This is especially noticeable on the US temperature records. Before 2000, it was generally accepted - even by climate activists like NASA's James Hansen - that the hottest decade in the US was the 1930s.

Why is this significant? Because it shows a few things.

1) Scientists aren't neutral. None are.
2) Scientists have a religion: science.
3) Scientists are willing to do whatever it takes to preserve their religion, even in the face of clear evidence against it.
4)Science isn't always science.
5) "Findings" can be manipulated.
6) Scientists can and do lie for their agenda.
7) Scientists are irrational when they do 2-6.

An Islamic Relief fundraiser I attended undercover featured young Muslim Arab kids simulating beheadings of Americans, Brits, and Israelis as the evening’s “entertainment.” And as I told you, Islamic Relief’s chief official in Gaza was a HAMAS official with Bin Laden’s photo, swastikas, and a “G-d Bless Hitler” banner as his screensavers. As I also told you, Islamic Relief’s registered agent in the U.S. is Kazbek Soobzokov, the son of Nazi Waffen SS officer Tscherim Soobzokov and the lawyer for deported accused terrorist and Islamic cleric, Imam Wagdy Mohamed Ghoneim.

The Farids and their Farid Foundation are also major donors to IMAN, the Chicago-based group which organizes Muslims to impose their extremist values on America’s political process and in America’s inner cities.

At least 80% of mosques in America  promote violent jihad:

Middle East Forum found in their study of 100 mosques in America:

"The study found a statistically significant association between the severity of violence-positive texts on mosque premises and Shari'a-adherent behaviors. As indicated in Table 2, mosques that segregated men from women during prayer service were more likely to contain violence-positive materials than those mosques where men and women were not segregated. Mosques that did not segregate genders were also less likely to possess violence-positive materials (26 percent) but nonetheless did carry both moderate (27 percent) and severe materials (47 percent)."

Perhaps more troubling than the correlation between jihadist literature and Shari'a-adherent behaviors within a mosque was the role played by imams in recommending that worshipers study material that promote violence. The more manifestly Shari'a-adherent a mosque, the more likely its imam was to recommend the study of violence-positive texts. Thus, as seen in Table 4, 96 percent of the imams in mosques that observed strict prayer line alignment recommended such reading material. Similarly, 93 percent of the imams who sported a traditional, full beard endorsed the study of such writings.

But while the presence of certain Shari'a-adherent behaviors correlated almost one-to-one with the promotion of the violence-positive texts, the absence of these attributes should not be construed as a sign of true moderation. In mosques that did not practice strict prayer line alignment, a striking 72 percent of imams nonetheless recommended violence-positive materials. Similarly, 78 percent of imams who did not wear a traditional beard were proponents of these texts.

A report on 100 mosques in America is very revealing and of interest since Edible Arrangements supports many mosques.

"The study found a statistically significant association between the severity of violence-positive texts on mosque premises and Shari'a-adherent behaviors. As indicated in Table 2, mosques that segregated men from women during prayer service were more likely to contain violence-positive materials than those mosques where men and women were not segregated. Mosques that did not segregate genders were also less likely to possess violence-positive materials (26 percent) but nonetheless did carry both moderate (27 percent) and severe materials (47 percent)."

Perhaps more troubling than the correlation between jihadist literature and Shari'a-adherent behaviors within a mosque was the role played by imams in recommending that worshipers study material that promote violence. The more manifestly Shari'a-adherent a mosque, the more likely its imam was to recommend the study of violence-positive texts. Thus, as seen in Table 4, 96 percent of the imams in mosques that observed strict prayer line alignment recommended such reading material. Similarly, 93 percent of the imams who sported a traditional, full beard endorsed the study of such writings.

But while the presence of certain Shari'a-adherent behaviors correlated almost one-to-one with the promotion of the violence-positive texts, the absence of these attributes should not be construed as a sign of true moderation. In mosques that did not practice strict prayer line alignment, a striking 72 percent of imams nonetheless recommended violence-positive materials. Similarly, 78 percent of imams who did not wear a traditional beard were proponents of these texts.

Western society is becoming more acquainted with the punishments mandated by Islamic law as the religion spreads in Europe and North America.

But punishments such as the chopping of a hand for thievery, stoning for homosexuality or death for conversion from Islam are demanded only by the radicals who support suicide bombers and the 9/11 hijackers, right? The average, “moderate” Muslim couldn’t affirm such uncivilized actions, could he?

The crowd affirms that they consider themselves moderate, yet they still would impose the prescribed penalties.

The speaker says critics constantly “come with the same accusations, this speaker supporters the death penalty for homosexuals … for this crime … he’s homophobic. ”

“They subjugate women, etc, etc. It’s the same old stuff coming all the time,” he says.

“I try to tell them, it’s not that speaker that has these extreme radical views as you say. These are general views that every Muslim actually has. Every Muslim believes in these things. Just because they’re not telling you about it, or just because they’re not out there … doesn’t mean that don’t believe in it.”

To make his point, he asks Muslims in the room to raise a hand if they consider themselves “not extremists.”

Virtually all hands go up.

Then he asks: “How many of you agree men and women should sit separately?”

The response is the same.

“How many of you agree the punishments described in the Quran and Sunna, whether it is death, stoning for adultery, whatever it is, if it is from Allah and his messenger, that is the best punishment possible for humankind … and that is what we should apply in the world?”

Again, all hands rise.

I think Janet Mefferd's questions about plagarism were right and proved to be right, but I agree, there were some deeper questions that should've also been raised. However, all of this is evidence that the man does not know Jesus Christ.

Tit 1:15  To the pure, all things are pure; but to those who are defiled and unbelieving, nothing is pure, but both their mind and their conscience are defiled. 16  They profess to know God, but by their deeds they deny Him, being detestable and disobedient and worthless for any good deed.
