Ricky Warren is going to be a guest speaker at the Plainfield-based Islamic Society of North America conference. They're hoping Obama shows up, but I doubt it. Ricky can do his missionary dirty work for him.
The Indy Star reports:
"We are living in a pluralist country. It is critical for us to have positive relationships with people of other faiths," said Sayyid Syeed, a longtime leader with the Islamic Society who focuses on building the organization's interfaith ties. "(Warren) realizes that it is equally critical for him to work with people of other faiths."
Syeed invited Warren during a gathering they attended last year at the White House. Since then, the Islamic Society has introduced Warren to Muslim groups in California, where his 20,000-member church is based."
"ISNA is very interested in extending their connections with Protestant groups," said Rafia Zakaria, an Indiana lawyer and associate editor at altmuslim.com, a Web site that looks at Muslim issues. "Having a figure as high profile as him gives them legitimacy to extend those kinds of alliances with church groups that have a significant amount of power in the United States."
In the past two years, the Islamic Society has forged friendships with the Union of Reform Judaism and the American Baptist Churches, USA.
Warren has conducted workshops with Jewish rabbis, Lee said, offering tips on how to build their congregations, and established ties with the gay rights community in California. He also was unafraid to endure criticism from conservatives about his role in the Obama inauguration.
"He is not a typical isolationist evangelical," Lee said. "He is more of a post-modern leader who is willing to look at new terrain to see how he can extend his leadership and his influence." That such a high-profile evangelist is willing to take risks, Lee said, marks an important moment in American religion.
"ISNA has faced a lot of challenges in recent years," Zakaria said. "It is crucial to them to have these alliances with other faith-based groups."

Here's the dirty little secret Liberals are too dense to get: Islam isn't peaceful, it isn't tolerant, it isn't pluralistic nor generous. Islam is violent, single-minded, demanding world dominance, and demonic. But they will set out their best "liberal" Muslims to lie to foolish Americans who actually buy that junk, suck them in to accept Islam, and then use them as Western spokespersons for Islam in order to gain a foothold in every country they can.
In an excellent article, Cecil Andrews deals with the reality of Islam. The questions Andrews raises for Obama, should be asked of Warren:
Would a true convert and faithful disciple of the Lord Jesus Christ state that America and Islam share values for justice and progress; tolerance and the dignity of all human beings?
Would a true convert to and faithful disciple of the Lord Jesus Christ give credence to any story that reduces Him to the level of a mere ‘prophet among prophets’, elevates a mere creature to a level greatly above Him and in a spiritual context declares non-Christians to be children of Abraham?

If Mr Obama is a Christian, and on the evidence it is very debatable, he is not one who honours the God of Heaven, Father, Son and Holy Spirit by linking the Lord Jesus Christ to Mohammed and the religion of Islam that he founded, in which His deity and death are denied. John wrote, “The Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world” [1st John 4:14] – Mohammed and Islam deny this truth. The Lord Jesus said in John 5:23, “He that honoureth not the Son, honoureth not the Father who hath sent him” – Mohammed and Islam do not ‘honour’ the Biblical Lord Jesus Christ and His Heavenly Father.
Islam is not tolerant of any view that challenges their teaching on their god, Allah, and it sanctions violence against any who do challenge it. Likewise the one true God of Christianity, whilst He does not tolerate any view that challenges His uniqueness and glory [see Isaiah 42:8] does specifically forbid any violence against those who oppose Him as we have already seen from Matthew 5:43-44. No faithful follower of Christ would ever then seek to align Christianity with Islam as that would represent a gross betrayal of God the Son, the Lord Jesus Christ and this is precisely what Mr Obama did in Cairo.

Muslims are allowed to lie to gain converts. Its called "Taqiyya". This is on top of the fact that Islam was founded by the Father of Lies, Satan himself. Muhammad was a liar as is Allah ("the greatest of deceivers", the quran says). So its no surprise they lie to dense Westerners that they are willing to open their arms to any and all, when in fact their quran says:

Do we really find such ‘shared common principles’ prevailing in the Muslim areas of the world? In one simple word the answer is a resounding ‘No!’ The over fourteen hundred-year history of Islam attests to a virtually continuous violent campaign to Islamise the whole world and this campaign continues today. ‘Infidels’ [Non Muslims] are viewed as ‘lesser beings’ and the Koran positively sanctions unfriendly attitudes towards in particular Jews and Christians – ‘Believers, Take neither Jews nor Christians for your friends. They are friends with one another. Whoever of you seeks their friendship shall become one of their number. God does not guide the wrongdoers’ [Sura 5:5]
As for the ‘tolerance and the dignity of all human beings’ not only does Islam deny these to ‘Infidels’ it also denies ‘dignity’ to their own Muslim women. On a very basic level, not I hasten to add that I’m in any way approving of polygamy, Muslim men can have up to four wives but a Muslim woman can only have one husband. A Muslim man can divorce a wife by simply making a verbal statement to that effect – a Muslim woman has no such right of divorce. Sexually speaking, Muslim wives are regarded as no better than a ‘field to be ploughed’ whenever or however the husband wishes – ‘Women are your fields: go then, into your fields whence you please’ [Sura 2:223].
As well as the Koran, Muslims also rely heavily on the Hadith, a record of Mohammed’s words and deeds recorded by various Muslim authorities. One such highly respected source is the nine volumes by Sahih Al-Bukhari. In Volumes 1, 2 & 7 we learn how Mohammed said, ‘I was shown hell-fire and that the majority of its dwellers are women’. In Volume 2 we are told Mohammed said to women, ‘I have not seen any one more deficient in intelligence and religion than you’. In Volume 3 we are told that Mohammed asked some women ‘Isn’t the witness of a woman equal to half that of a man?’ The women said “yes”. When Tolerance Is Sin
This is a good article on the sin of unbiblical tolerance, by William MacDonald as shared by Take Heed Ministries:
Tolerance can be a virtue, but it can also betray an inexcusable weakness of character. We admire the person who tolerates differences where no great issue is at stake. He allows for a variety of preferences, methods and unimportant viewpoints. He would rather be killed for a sheep than for a lamb.
But there is another tolerance that is despicable. This is the willingness to remain silent when God’s name is blasphemed or when Christ is dishonoured. It is the treachery of silence when truth is on the scaffold. It is the unwillingness to speak out against evil. Tolerance that condones deceit and unrighteousness is sin.
Those who think that Jesus was always tolerant should read Matthew 23, a denunciation of hypocrisy. This passage proves forever that our Lord was capable of scathing indignation at the pretence of religious leaders. Or they should read Revelation 2:20 where He condemned the church in Thyatira for tolerating a woman teacher named Jezebel....

Hypocrisy: Lose Your Job If You Reject Homosexuality
A married, heterosexual gym teacher at a tony Upper West Side private school was fired because his lesbian supervisor disapproved of his “traditional family status,” the canned teacher claims in a new Manhattan lawsuit....
Kenney claims the allegedly biased athletic director “routinely favored other single, younger females without children and discriminated against [him] because of his gender, sexual orientation, ‘traditional family status,’ and age.”

Also, A& E has tried to silence the number one show in cable history, Duck Dynasty's family's prayers in Jesus name and now by removing Phil Robertson because of what he said he believes in an interview in GQ. A & E is silencing opposition, and one wonders why they are so afraid of. What happened to tolerance the Left demands from us all the time?
What happened to "No Hate"?
Certainly this can't be what "love" is? It can't be what "tolerance" is. Such is the hypocritical and self-contradicting life of the liberal. Do as they say, not as they do. Hate the opposition is what they really are proclaiming.
Clearly A & E is intolerant of opposing ideas and beliefs that they seem to think are unacceptable. The problem is, a majority of Americans are not homosexuals (only 2% are). The minority view is trying to dictate to the rest of the country what is to be believed and if you disagree, they will bully you and retaliate.
Unless you are Muslim, in which case they won't dare do a thing.

to personally destroy anyone who voices an opinion different than theirs,”

what his Christian faith teaches, but may have lost his job.

Bush Says Islam Is A Religion of Peace: News Reports and Quran Prove Otherwise
*Below I have juxtaposed news articles of Islamic terror on various people throughout the world, with George Bush's and Condoleeza Rice's claim of Islam being a "peaceful religion". Their quotes, dispersed throughout, are in italics, even when I am otherwise quoting from news sources. I do this as stark reminder that while Islam is slaughtering non-Muslims, Bush tries to sell his propaganda that Islam isn't the issue. It is exactly the issue. I've included quotes from the Quran and Hadith as well.*

An appeals court has spent two minutes affirming a two-year work camp sentence for a Baptist pastor who was holding Christian church services, a case on which Voice of the Martyrs, the worldwide ministry to persecuted Christians, has reported.
The pastor had been targeted for his activities, along with his congregation, in his village of Aliabad near Zakatala. Other Baptists in the village also have been targeted by authorities, who in Azerbaijan require that church groups be licensed by the state in order to operate. They then can control church activities by denying licensing to groups they don't like.
Balaev, 44, had been leading his Baptist congregation in the northwest corner of Azerbaijan near Georgia, but repeatedly was refused in his applications for legal status, a situation that led to harassment from local authorities for not having that permission, supporters told Forum 18.
He had been arrested May 20 during what police said was an "illegal" worship service. He then was accused of attacking five police officers.
With Balaev in prison, police in Aliabad have been harassing the leader of another Baptist congregation, led by Nvoruz Eyvazov, according to Forum 18. Homes of several members have been searched by police, and religious literature was confiscated.

Balaev, 44, had been leading his Baptist congregation in the northwest corner of Azerbaijan near Georgia, but repeatedly was refused in his applications for legal status, a situation that led to harassment from local authorities for not having that permission, supporters told Forum 18.
He had been arrested May 20 during what police said was an "illegal" worship service. He then was accused of attacking five police officers.

He explained the imam was echoing the Fatiha, the first sura, or chapter, of the Quran and the most common prayer of Islam.

Brian Boitono vs A & E
Brian Boitono is a homosexual. He's also the head of the White House delegation to the Sochi Olympic games. I find his statement quite interesting:

The Truth of God's Word
Authentic Christianity has always held that the Scripture is absolute, objective truth. It is as true for one person as it is for another regardless of anyone’s opinion about it. It has one true meaning that applies to everyone. Every passage has one true interpretation. Every passage has one true interpretation that applies to everyone in every age.
The meaning is determined by God; it is not determined by you, or me, or anyone else. It isn’t determined by you because you feel this is what it might mean. It isn’t determined by me because I’m some kind of a scholar. The meaning is determined by God. It’s like any other truth; it’s like any other reality. It is reality; it is truth. What is true is true.
In no way is any truth in Scripture decided by your experience. Whether it affects you or doesn’t affect you subjectively has nothing to do with its truthfulness. Now this deals a very heavy blow to vast numbers of people in professing Christianity who look at the Bible like some kind of a verbal Ouija board and run their fingers in their minds through it waiting for some kind of esoteric impulse. And you hear people get together in a Bible study and say, “What does this mean to you?”
Who cares. Who are you? What does this mean to God? What did He say and what did He mean by what He said? Biblical truth is objective; it is true in and of itself. Psalm 119:160 says this: “The entirety of Your Word is truth.”
Now, friends, the very starting point and necessary foundation for a truly Christian world view is right there. The Bible is all true, absolutely true. It is God-breathed. Every word has come from God. It is objective truth in and of itself. It is external to you, and your experience, and your mystical feelings. If you give that up, you have wondered into non-Christian paganism. You give up the ground of biblical truth that is objective, and whatever belief system you have left isn’t worthy to be called Christian, even if it has some vestiges of Christian symbolism.
You see this all the time. You listen to people talking about the fact that they’re Christians and they advocate Christianity. Sometimes they say they’re Roman Catholics. But they’re for homosexual marriage. You have just eliminated the foundation of Christianity.
That’s not Christianity. You have literally taken the Bible, set it aside, and made yourself God. You can’t pick and choose. True Christianity begins with objective truth revealed by God. That’s the first word, “objectivity.”
Second word, “rationality,” rationality. What does that mean? That the objective revelation of God breathed into the Scripture can be understood by normal reasoning. It can be understood by normal reasoning. Scripture is logical, non-contradictory, clear, subject to mental assessment.
Listen, there are no errors; there are no discrepancies; there are no contradictions; there are no lies; there are not unsound principles. I’ll go step further; anything that contradicts the Scripture is untrue. There are no fantasies; there are no absurdities; there are no avatars; there are no inconsistencies; there are no weird things; there are no myths; there are no allegories. It is absolutely true, and it is reasonability true and understood by reason in a normal process of using the mind....
The context informs the reason. The flow of the argument, every passage of Scripture is making a case, presenting truth, and it is reasonable truth. There are no secret meanings....
If you’re an engineer, or you’re a mechanic, or you’re an architect, use your reason to do your work and come to the right conclusion. That’s essentially what a student of the Bible does. I use my mind. I don’t sit and wait for some special delivery from heaven. The meaning of the Scripture is the Scripture, and the meaning is there, clear to be understood by the normal process of reason.
What do I mean by rationality? I mean that the Bible is to be understood in normal ways. It is regular language, real people, actual history; and you learn to interpret it that way...
It’s all true and it’s all necessary for life and godliness. It’s the truth by which all other truth claims are measured. It’s the truth which exposes all error. And you only have the truth if you have the meaning right, and that takes a refined mind and a trained mind. The Bible is not about inducing feelings or emotions, it’s about divine truth....
We are then committed to the truth. We have to be committed to the truth. So when we get into dialog with the sinners of the world, whether they’re our friends, or our family or, classmates, or the guys we work with, ladies we work with, or whether or not we’re in the media or wherever we are, we don’t have dialog. We don’t have dialog. Why? Because there’s really nothing to dialog about. I’m always happy to show up and say, “I’m glad I’m here because I’m telling you the truth. I’m just telling you the truth.”
Contemporary evangelicals like the idea of dialog because, again, remember now, if you’re going to make the Bible an issue, hostility toward the Bible is natural to sinners. So modern evangelicals prefer dialog. They don’t want to clash with every-other idea, every-other world view. We want dialog.
So what do we do to get dialog? We minimize biblical authority; we minimize biblical clarity; we minimize judgment. I mean we do that all the time anyway....
Do we make enemies? We already have enemies. God has enemies; Christ has enemies; the Bible has enemies. Jesus told His disciples, “If they persecuted Me, they’re going to persecute you. If they hated me, they’re going to hate you.” But if you know the truth, then you can only speak with authority; you can only speak with author.
But it’s not really stylist to speak with authority like that; not really popular, not in this particular age. People like soft words, words that don’t trouble the mind, don’t trouble the heart and leave room for everybody’s opinion. They see this as some kind of tenderness, some kind of acceptance, some kind of tolerance. But it’s really the opposite....
One writer put it this way: “The one who really wanted a tender heart would be calling for a jackhammer.” Hard words, hard teaching, hard truth is the jackhammer of God and it takes a great deal to break up hard hearts. And the God of all mercy is willing to do it, but He always does it according to His Word, and His Word is not easy on us.
Jeremiah 23: “Is not My Word like a fire?” said the Lord, “and like a hammer that breaks the rock in pieces.”
When people call for smooth words, easy words, the result is hard people. When we submit to hard words, we become the tenderhearted of God. Well, I hate to tell you folks, but we can say it with love, but we’re the jackhammers in the world, to break up the hard-hearted, buried under lies....
We started with objectivity and then we went to rationality. We understood that that yields veracity, truth, divine truth. That gives us literally delegated authority from God to speak. And now the noose tightens right around the neck to the point where you begin to feel the rope burn. Here is comes: truth is absolutely incompatible with error.
To put it in the language of 1 John 2:21, “No lie is of the truth.” What a great statement: “No lie is of the truth.” Truth is in the end – listen – absolutely and finally intolerant. It doesn’t mean you have to be mean or unloving, just the opposite. But the truth itself is intolerant. It is intolerant.
1 Corinthians 16:22, “If you love not the Lord Jesus Christ, you’re condemned.” Listen, tolerance toward people is good, biblical. Tolerance toward error is bad; that’s a sin.
God hates lies, doesn’t He? The Old Testament says God hates lies. He hates lying tongues and he hates the liars who waggle them.
Isaiah 8:20, “To the law, to the testimony Scripture: if they do not speak according to this word, it is because no light is in them.” It’s incompatible with error. So here we are in the world. They, by nature, like we were once, hate the Word of God. And we have the truth, and we have to proclaim it with authority and let them know it is incompatible with all error.

I recently shocked and dismayed a Christian by saying that not only does Scripture clearly teach a literal six day Creation week in Genesis 1-2, but that it is sin to believe in the theory of evolution. Before that I had told a young seminary student that John Piper indeed is not faithful to Scripture because he denies Genesis 1-2 as it states (he holds to the fantasy of theistic evolution --old age earth--and denies God is creating on days 2-6).
Listen, if people reject the Beginning which is so clearly and emphatically stated, then they will reject other portions of Scripture and it's doctrines as well, since they have already sat in judgment against it and denied the foundational truth of Creation. They have committed treason against God and have waged war on the Word. They are in fact, traitors to the Creator Himself and side with Satan who said in the Garden, "Hath God said?" They allow foolish, God-hating, irrational, and hostile men and women of so-called science to interpret the Holy, living, inerrant, and clear Word of God in order to dethrown His lordship, His kingship, and His judgment. They no longer have a Christian worldview. They have borrowed from the atheists and have a worldly worldview, antagonistic and hostile to God's absolute authority and pronouncements over all Creation and all people everywhere.
Whatever sets itself up against the knowledge of Christ--anything that is not of the pure, pristine, divine truth, is a lie---is to be rejected wholly as treasonous and from God's enemy, not of the Spirit of God in any way.

Ideas have consequences. Biblical truth leads to biblical thinking and biblical living. It leads to living by faith and not by sight. It leads to glorifying God in all things beginning with our thoughts. It causes us to stand back and not walk into temptation and sin. It causes us to be wholly loyal to Christ alone. It protects us from spiritual harlotry, as well as physical adultery. It causes us to love God more and to walk in that love. Lies cannot do that because lies are from Satan, the father of lies.
If we claim to be mature, faithful Christians, or if we strive to be so, we must submit ourselves to the Scriptures and stop arguing against it with ungodly hostility and using the world's arguments as a way to not only not submit to its teaching, but to disobey it's commands.

Homeland Security Tags Right Wingers As Potential Security Problem
The Department of Homeland Security is warning law enforcement officials about a rise in "rightwing extremist activity," saying the economic recession, the election of America's first black president and the return of a few disgruntled war veterans could swell the ranks of white-power militias.
A footnote attached to the report by the Homeland Security Office of Intelligence and Analysis defines "rightwing extremism in the United States" as including not just racist or hate groups, but also groups that reject federal authority in favor of state or local authority.
"It may include groups and individuals that are dedicated to a single-issue, such as opposition to abortion or immigration," the warning says."

I guess we live in 1930's Germany. And here I thought we lived in America where we have the freedom of thought, expression, association and protest.
The Liberals really ARE running scared. But where's the tolerance from the left who take pride in their "tolerance"? Being the hypocrits that they are, they have none with those who vocally go against them.
Sort of like those who buck up against the PDL movement.

Tolerance of Terrorists, But Not Dissenting Americans
Your White House, Your President, Your Elected Leaders...aren't practicing the same tolerance they give to terrorists by sitting down and having tea and a chat. Then again, the GOP is known for cowering to any strong arm.

Obama Is No "Devout Christian"

Apparently some "evangelical Christians" (Franklin Graham, to be precise) think that Obama is a Christian. His recent endorsement of building a mosque two blocks from Ground Zero on Sept. 11, when Islam declared war on us, has rightly enraged many Americans. Here are a few quotes (in italics) from a story that Obama's administration is putting out there now.
"Now it's obvious that the president has renounced the prophet Mohammed, and he has renounced Islam, and he has accepted Jesus Christ. That's what he says he has done. I cannot say that he hasn't. So I just have to believe that the president is what he has said," Graham continued, adding that "the Islamic world sees the president as one of theirs."
Has he really? He doesn't go to church. He didn't go on Christmas or Easter. He doesn't talk about the Bible or Jesus Christ. Yet he DOES go to mosques on the first dayof Ramadan. He does talk about his "Muslim faith", he endorses terrorists and gives them money, he said America is a Muslim nation. His first interview as president was with a Muslim tv station. He has constantly referred to Islam and its quran and prayers as "beautiful". No such thing with biblical Christianity. And by the way, the Muslim world denounces Christians and the Infidel Westerners, so if Obama was a "Christian" they would no more own him as "one of theirs" as they would own the Roman Catholics as their own. In addition I'll add here that Muslims are allowed to lie. Its called "al-takeyya". So they can lie about anything if its for the good of Islam. And why not? Their god Allah, is "the greatest of deceivers" according to their own quran. So its children will also follow in like manner.
"The president himself has written that his father, Barack Obama Sr., was already a confirmed atheist by the time he was born. His father divorced his mother when Obama was 2 years old, and he had little contact with his father during his childhood."
And what I keep hearing is that his mother was the affirmed atheist. If his father had such little contact with him then why did he write a whole book about a father he barely knew and his dreams? Why was it that he was in Indonesia in a Muslim school (which he happily recounts in the same book)? Interestingly, both parents deplored Christianity.
"He communicates with his religious adviser every single day," Burton said. "There's a group of pastors that he takes counsel from on a regular basis. His faith is very important to him, but it's not something that's a topic of conversation every single day. Burton said the president has talked "extensively" about his faith in the past and "you can bet he'll talk about his faith again." But "making sure Americans know what a devout Christian he is" is not the president's top priority. "
As for being a "devout Christian", how can anyone make such a ridiculous statement? A CHRISTIAN is a member of a local church (as we see repeatedly throughout the NT starting in Acts all the way to Revelation). Not Obama. A CHRISTIAN loves Christ and proclaims Him as Savior and resurrected Lord--the only way, truth, and life. Not Obama. A CHRISTIAN will not give any tolerance or applause nor embrace any part of false religions like Islam. Not Obama. So what does Burton mean, exactly, when he labels his boss as "devout Christian? Not according to Scripture, and not according to Obama's own words and actions.
So let's take a look at all the king's spiritual men:
Jim Wallis, who is anything BUT a Christian. He heads up Sojourners (a liberal organization funded by liberal and DNC supporter George Soros).
As Apprising Ministries reports, Wallis practices pagan Contemplative Spirituality. He wants civility (read: tolerance) toward those who have "hijacked Christianity".
Apprising Ministries also shows that Wallis endorses liberal theologian Harvey Cox's book.
Jeremiah Wright was also one of Obama's religious advisers as his pastor of twenty years. Wright is not a Christian either. He is into politics and racism. Wright has a false gospel that can't save and is full of anger, bitterness and hate.
Who else are Obama's religious advisors that he "meets with every single day"?

Politically, Hunter, a registered Republican, and Watkins, who heads a liberal-leaning denomination, may not always agree, but, like Obama, both are committed to transcending traditional barriers.

"The pastor who's preached to Obama most often since he became president is a 6-foot-4-inch Southern Baptist Navy chaplain whose great uncle was country music legend Johnny Cash.
Before his stint at Camp David, Cash, 39, was an All-American football player for the Citadel, and a chaplain for the Marine's 1st Battalion in 2003 in the Iraq war, during which he baptized 59 soldiers, including one in Saddam Hussein's former presidential palace in Baghdad. The Memphis native was raised in a deeply religious household -- his mother is a Christian author -- and has harsh words for Muslims, writing in his 2004 book that Islam "from its very birth has used the edge of the sword as the means to convert or conquer those with different religious convictions."

As word of the poll's results blazed out across online news sites, White House spokesman Bill Burton chastened Americans for "not reading a lot of news about what religion the president is."
Morse notes that Obama confessed to converting to Christianity around the dawn of his political involvement, "under the tutelage of the racist anti-American and anti-Semitic pastor Jeremiah Wright," he said.
But leaving Islam, Morse says, is fraught with complications and deadly consequences.
"By converting out of Islam, Obama either became an apostate, a murtadd, in Arabic, or he began engaging in an Islamic-sanctioned deception and thus remained Muslim," says Morse. "If Obama truly left Islam, and actively embraced Christianity, he could be subject to severe penalties under Islamic law including the death sentence. Islamic Shariah law calls for the execution of any Muslim who becomes a murtadd."

Great quote from Rush Limbaugh: "So nothing is "obvious" about Obama's Christianity, Mr. Burton, and the telltale sign is that you even have to say it. "
Apparently some "evangelical Christians" (Franklin Graham, to be precise) think that Obama is a Christian. His recent endorsement of building a mosque two blocks from Ground Zero on Sept. 11, when Islam declared war on us, has rightly enraged many Americans. Here are a few quotes (in italics) from a story that Obama's administration is putting out there now.
"Now it's obvious that the president has renounced the prophet Mohammed, and he has renounced Islam, and he has accepted Jesus Christ. That's what he says he has done. I cannot say that he hasn't. So I just have to believe that the president is what he has said," Graham continued, adding that "the Islamic world sees the president as one of theirs."
Has he really? He doesn't go to church. He didn't go on Christmas or Easter. He doesn't talk about the Bible or Jesus Christ. Yet he DOES go to mosques on the first dayof Ramadan. He does talk about his "Muslim faith", he endorses terrorists and gives them money, he said America is a Muslim nation. His first interview as president was with a Muslim tv station. He has constantly referred to Islam and its quran and prayers as "beautiful". No such thing with biblical Christianity. And by the way, the Muslim world denounces Christians and the Infidel Westerners, so if Obama was a "Christian" they would no more own him as "one of theirs" as they would own the Roman Catholics as their own. In addition I'll add here that Muslims are allowed to lie. Its called "al-takeyya". So they can lie about anything if its for the good of Islam. And why not? Their god Allah, is "the greatest of deceivers" according to their own quran. So its children will also follow in like manner.
"The president himself has written that his father, Barack Obama Sr., was already a confirmed atheist by the time he was born. His father divorced his mother when Obama was 2 years old, and he had little contact with his father during his childhood."
And what I keep hearing is that his mother was the affirmed atheist. If his father had such little contact with him then why did he write a whole book about a father he barely knew and his dreams? Why was it that he was in Indonesia in a Muslim school (which he happily recounts in the same book)? Interestingly, both parents deplored Christianity.
"He communicates with his religious adviser every single day," Burton said. "There's a group of pastors that he takes counsel from on a regular basis. His faith is very important to him, but it's not something that's a topic of conversation every single day. Burton said the president has talked "extensively" about his faith in the past and "you can bet he'll talk about his faith again." But "making sure Americans know what a devout Christian he is" is not the president's top priority. "
As for being a "devout Christian", how can anyone make such a ridiculous statement? A CHRISTIAN is a member of a local church (as we see repeatedly throughout the NT starting in Acts all the way to Revelation). Not Obama. A CHRISTIAN loves Christ and proclaims Him as Savior and resurrected Lord--the only way, truth, and life. Not Obama. A CHRISTIAN will not give any tolerance or applause nor embrace any part of false religions like Islam. Not Obama. So what does Burton mean, exactly, when he labels his boss as "devout Christian? Not according to Scripture, and not according to Obama's own words and actions.
So let's take a look at all the king's spiritual men:
Jim Wallis, who is anything BUT a Christian. He heads up Sojourners (a liberal organization funded by liberal and DNC supporter George Soros).
As Apprising Ministries reports, Wallis practices pagan Contemplative Spirituality. He wants civility (read: tolerance) toward those who have "hijacked Christianity".
Apprising Ministries also shows that Wallis endorses liberal theologian Harvey Cox's book.
Jeremiah Wright was also one of Obama's religious advisers as his pastor of twenty years. Wright is not a Christian either. He is into politics and racism. Wright has a false gospel that can't save and is full of anger, bitterness and hate.
Who else are Obama's religious advisors that he "meets with every single day"?

The Depravity of Our Culture: Limbaugh's Right and Wrong
Rush Limbaugh makes some interesting observations about the depravity of our culture. Here are some excerpts:

I mean, the surprises learning that you're wrong, those are all good things to happen. But some of the people that I can't believe not only watch it, but like it, are the same kind of people in the past that have told me that TV needs to be cleaned up, it's going to hell in a handbasket, all the sex and violence and crude language. Now I guess everybody has given up. We've defined decency down now that we look at the entertainment value of it, whether the acting is good, the writing is good, the story is good, no matter the depravity, we'll watch it....

Well, the reason... I don't know this guy and it's just one example, but look at what this social media... Look, I'm really running a risk talking about this, because I'm going to come across as an old fuddy-duddy and that's not the point. (sigh) It's all about wanting a great country. It's all about wanting this country to stay great with plenty of prosperity and opportunity.
And every time I see something like this, I think that there's no putting the genie back in the bottle. I just think it's unfortunate there aren't any standards here. We have so many people so obsessed with becoming famous that they're engaging in activity that ruins their lives in this quest. We have people who are destroying their own humanity. Now some would say, "Rush, don't worry about it. These same kind of people have always existed. They just destroyed themselves in different ways before this social media hit."
That may be.
It may be.
I just think that there's a rising level of ignorance, stupidity, surfaceness, shallowness, self-absorption, and all of these things that... People are pursuing happiness, but they're pursuing things that will never, ever make them happy, and they don't know that. They've got a distorted view of what will make them happy, what happiness is, and it's based on what they see on television. That just makes me sad at the end of the day and it makes me wish there was something I could do about it, and, of course, there isn't....
My brother, David, sent me a note. He says, "You're right about one thing, wrong about the other. We're experiencing no greater depravity today than ever. It's the same, because human nature is human nature."
Then he said, "I think there is a striking difference now in America, in that our politically correctly liberal culture is condoning and glorifying all of this and calling it 'tolerance,'" and you know, that is right. That sort of rings the bell for me. That's what it is. It's not that it's happening; it's always happened, this kind of depravity. "There's nothing new since Genesis." You've heard the old thing. What is bothering me is that it doesn't bother as many people.
It's Moynihan, the "defining deviancy down" business, and we end up condoning this stuff -- and if we don't condone it, we glorify it, because the left wants to take every one of these acts of depravity and use it to advance their agenda or an element of their agenda, such as guns or what have you. "We have to understand the rage," it's said. "We have to be tolerant of people who have come from unfortunate, low-class socioeconomic circumstances."
It's called tolerance and acceptance and understanding, rather than some of this stuff being condemned and dealt with, and that's what's disturbing. Then you add to it that the secular left, the people that traffic and love immortality, love throwing standards out the window; they don't want any standards. That's exactly what it is. It is the lack of being shocked, lack of revulsion, and even the laughing at and acceptance of this stuff.

While Limbaugh's concerns about depravity are right, he's wrong, as is his brother to this extent: while total depravity is the result of the Fall when Adam and Eve sinned against God (Genesis 3), the days will grow darker indeed. What he's so shocked at, that those more "conservative" folks who were against the filth on tv, etc., is really the hypocrisy of such people.
Romans 1-2 show this: people know right from wrong because God placed it in their conscience. Everyone knows that murder is wrong; that adultery is wrong; that homosexuality is wrong. But by refusing to acknowledge God and His Word, their hard hearts become hardened even still, as God removes His hand off their hearts and minds.
Rom 1:28 And just as they did not see fit to acknowledge God any longer, God gave them over to a depraved mind, to do those things which are not proper,
Rom 1:29 being filled with all unrighteousness, wickedness, greed, evil; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, malice; they are gossips,

Your Government School Teachers' Unions At Work....Against Your Child's Safety
With support from teachers' unions such as the National Education Association and the American Federation of Teachers, liberals like Rep. Keith Ellison (D-MN) are opposing a bill that would help protect school children from the possibility of being exposed to criminals, including sex offenders, in America's schools.
The bill is bipartisan.
Fox News reports:
"Kyle Olson, with the Education Action Group Foundation told Megyn Kelly Wednesday night on “The Kelly File” that the unions’ objection to the bill proves “unions are out to protect the adults…they are not out for the interests of the children.”
“We should have zero tolerance for issues like this,” Olson said. “We have zero tolerance policies for weapons, a kid who bites a Pop Tart into a gun or has a Hello Kitty bubble-maker will be suspended or expelled if they have those sorts of things…” "
The teachers' unions are not about the children, they are by nature, about the teachers. Folks, if you have children in the government schools, this is what you're allowing your children be exposed to---and to be unprotected defiantly by the teachers' unions.
Time to get off that sinking Titanic.
