“He could not have, on his conscience, creating human life for experimentation,” Romney said. “That’s when he came out saying he was pro life. I think we all have to understand this is an issue that is so tender and there are people on both sides of the issue, with very good conscience, coming with a different opinion.”
~Anne Romney on "The View" (as reported by ~Life News) showing how abortion/pro-life is merely a difference of OPINION, which is how most "Christians" view it also. That my friends is a FAR CRY from a conviction based on biblical truth.
This is the very root of the problem with "Christianity" today. Everything--all biblical doctrine and truth is merely a matter of opinion, therefore no one is obligated to believe it, but rather can dismiss it as optional. They put biblical doctrine into the category of "personal preference" of Rom. 14 instead of biblical doctrine and commands in Rom. 1-12,15-16 (even chapter 14 has commands, anyway).
God said murder is wrong in Ex. 20:13 and certainly isn't the only place He says this. So a little murder is "less evil" or "better than" a lot of murder? God says ALL murder is evil, NONE is acceptable. Abortion is straight across totally anti-biblical and wicked and to try and justify it by circumstances is wicked and evil. For "Christians" to put value on a baby's life based on circumstance is utterly pagan and wicked.
This is why people can claim to believe in Jesus but deny His lordship, sin as they want and justify it, hold to outright heresy or commend others who do and still wear the label of "brothers in Christ", and even ask for a pagan polytheist blasphemer to rule over us. Its why they can claim to be "pro-life" when in fact they are actually pro-abortion, just as McCain and Romney are. The "Christians" who claim to be anti-abortion actually vote pro-abortion, so what makes them pro-life? Because they say they are?
