Unity On Truth, Not Priority of Doctrines

The way in which ‘one’ is used does not speak of priority, but singularity. This distinction further upholds the necessity of unity under a common corpus of truth, common Lord, and common baptism. Paul’s intent was not to develop 'primary' truth, 'primary' Lord, and 'primary' baptism, as if secondary aspects of these eternal realities exist. His aim was not to triage or categorize levels of dogma and devotion, but to command singular devotion to indivisible truth, founded upon the Indivisible Lord. (Ref. Ephesians 4:4-6)
