So the details are slowly coming out on Obama's healthcare plan.
"The version of President Obama's universal health care plan pending in the U.S. House would require "end-of-life" counseling for senior citizens, and the former lieutenant governor for the state of New York is warning people to "protect their parents" from the measure." - Source
"The Affordable Health Choices Act drafted by Sen. Edward Kennedy's staff and the Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee pushes "Americans into stingy insurance plans with tight, HMO-style controls," the Wall Street Journal reports.
At the same time, Page 114 of the act specifically exempts members of Congress from the public plan.
The bill mandates that all other Americans enroll in "qualified" health plans and submit proof of enrollment to the government. " - Source
Well, the first guinea pigs to sign up to prove the quality of government health care should be ailing Teddy Kennedy and Ruth Ginsburg. Then they can add Sandra Day O'Connor.
This reminds me of the Health and Wealth hucksters who tell everyone else that they don't need a doctor, but just enough faith to make their diseases go away, while all the time they themselves seek out good doctors and medicine to cure their ailments.
Or the political hacks who try to sell America's government educational system to Americans, but they send all their kids to private schools.
The epitome of "do as I say, not as I do".
Hypocrits.
