If....Then

(Rom 1-3) If the lies of man can’t glorify God (as they try to justify one’s sin and saying it helps glorify God’s righteousness; if evil can’t make good come; if all men are equally totally depraved; if man’s mouth is an open grave, if they deceived with their mouths and curse, have bitterness, and murderous (literally and metaphorically –Matt. 6 as well as Rom. 3); if their paths are ruin and misery; if they don’t know the way of peace which is Jesus Christ) and have no fear of God in their eyes; if they refuse to acknowledge God as God and Creator and give thanks,

(Eph 4) if their minds are futile, their understanding is darkened; if they are ignorant and alienated from God; if they have hard hearts and have become callous, given themselves up for sensuality and are greedy to practice every kind of impurity;

(James 3) if their wisdom is earthly, unspiritual and demonic, and produces bitter jealousy, selfish ambition, and they curse men while blessing God;

(Col. 2) and if all the treasure of truth and wisdom is found only in the Lord Jesus Christ and Scripture;

(Eph. 4,Rom. 12) and if we’re to renew the spirit of our minds in Scripture;

(Rom. 12) and not by the world’s wisdom;

(Ps 1) if we are blessed because we are not walking in the counsel of the wicked, nor stand in the path of sinners, nor sit in the seat of scoffers, but instead meditate on the Word day and night;

(2 Cor 6) If there is no combining light with darkness, Christ with Belial, believer with unbeliever,

Then we cannot find wisdom nor truth in psychology or philosophy.
