Psa 138:2 I bow down toward your holy temple and give thanks to your name for your steadfast love and your faithfulness, for you have exalted above all things your name and your word.
You will never hear Jesus Christ ever say "You held My Word too high" or "You were overly committed to My Word."
Never.
Yet you will hear "Christians" say just that. You will hear them accuse biblical Christians of "worshiping" the Bible. But you will never hear God say that. Why? Because He Himself exalts His Word above all things. He holds it higher than anything else. We are to treasure what He treasures, exalt what He exalts.
No one can exalt Scripture too highly.
