Surprise! Anti-Bullying Programs Not Only Don't Work, but Bullying Rises In Schools That Use Them

***Update at the bottom of the page***

Quote:

University of Texas at Arlington criminologist Seokjin Jeong analyzed data collected from 7,000 students from all 50 states.
He thought the results would be predictable and would show that anti-bullying programs curb bullying. Instead — he found the opposite.
Jeong said it was, “A very disappointing and a very surprising thing. Our anti-bullying programs, either intervention or prevention does not work.”
The study concluded that students at schools with anti-bullying programs might actually be more likely to become a victim of bullying. It also found that students at schools with no bullying programs were less likely to become victims.
The problem is that detached, psychologized adults have no clue what it's like to actually be on campus and terrorized. They give psychobabble to the kids; stupid, useless "advice" that never works: ignore the bully, try to reason with him...or worst: go tell a grown up. Seriously, what teenager or tween is going to incur more wrath by telling a teacher who's bullying him or her?
Basically psychologized adults leave the child defenseless. The bully is still in power.
In fact, the grown ups are the cowards for not taking on the bullies the way they should. Fear of law suits from....the bully's parents? Fear of retaliation?
Ya think?
So this is no surprise to me at all.
De-clawing the bully victim (his only defense from FURTHER attacks) only serves to empower the bully.
Let's face it, bullies only understand a power stronger than themselves.
And one more thing: the way the schools and states deal with bullies (which is to say, they don't do much), is the same way they deal with gangs and terrorists. Its all the same mentality, just from a different age group and venue.

***UPDATE***

CBS Newsreports on the recent shooting and murder of a teacher at Sparks Middle School (Nevada):

As they try to understand what prompted a 12-year-old boy to open fire at his school, district officials were examining an anti-bullying video that includes a dramatization of a child taking a gun on a school bus to scare aggressors.
The video, which uses the scene as an illustration of the wrong way to respond, was being studied as students and faculty members prepared to return to Sparks Middle School, where a boy fatally shot a teacher, wounded two classmates and killed himself Monday.
Some experts warn that increased levels of awareness lead to increased reports of bullying, which can make it seem like the problem is on the rise.
It wasn't clear if the video had been seen by the young gunman, whom police previously refused to identify.

The Bullying By Liberals and Sodomite Activists

I'm not the only one who sees the bullying by the homosexual activists and liberals:

Quote:

This is on the Today Show today.  Oh, yeah, it was beyond CNN.  It was in local Arizona Eyeball News there, too, as well.  Mike Taibbi, this is way he set up the reporting of the story on the Today Show today.
TAIBBI:  If Governor Brewer does veto the bill, ultraconservative talkers like Rush Limbaugh say they know who's to blame.
RUSH ARCHIVE:  She's being bullied by the homosexual lobby in Arizona and elsewhere.
RUSH:  Folks, that little innocuous statement, which happens to be nothing more than an observation of what's going on, literally caused liberal brains and heads to explode last night....
So, anyway, that's the Today Show.  Now, here is KPNX Eyeball 12 news at 10 in Phoenix.  This is the anchor Lin Sue Cooney reporting about Mitt Romney and me on the Arizona bill.
COONEY:  Mitt Romney has become the latest high profile public figure to criticize the bill.  Rush Limbaugh is on the other side, saying, quote, "the governor of Arizona is being bullied.  She's being bullied by the homosexual lobby in Arizona and elsewhere.  She's being bullied by the nationwide Drive-By Media.  She's being bullied by certain elements of corporate America in order to advance the gay agenda."
RUSH:  How is this...? How is this even a matter of discussion?  She is being bullied.  That is part of the way the left gets its way, is to bully every opponent practically on every issue.  They've successfully bullied the Republicans into submission.  You know what the Republican position on this is?  (frightened) "Governor Brewer, please just veto it so it will go away!  It's gonna kill us if you sign it! Oh, God! Oh, don't! Don't! Please veto it!  Do what they say!"
They want her to veto and get it to go away. "Just, please!" The Republican Party has been successfully bullied to the point now of submission.
RUSH:  I have no trouble admitting to you, folks, I find this hilarious. It's such a teachable moment.  It is so hilarious.  There's no question she's being bullied, and yet I'm the bad guy for pointing it out.  There's no other conclusion you can draw, in terms of the pressure that is being exerted on the governor in order to achieve the outcome they desire.  They're not just passively waiting for the governor to make up her own mind.
There's no passivity going on out there.  There's not any patience or people just waiting to see what she does.  Of course they're engaged here in bullying. You know, I guess what bothers them is that they think "bullying" is exclusively a conservative thing.  That's what bugs them. I'm turning around on it, calling them bullies.  Of course, they're incapable of that kind of behavior.  You know, if they don't like "bullying," what would be a better word be?
End quote.

Accept Transgender Children or Face Punishment

The bullying by the "anti-bullying" types; the intolerance of the "tolerant" types. The bossing around of everyone else, while telling Conservatives (or mommy or daddy), "You're not the boss of ME!".

http://radio.foxnews.com/toddstarnes/top-stories/students-who-refuse-to-affirm-transgender-classmates-face-punishment.html

Homosexuality is wrong biologically and morally. It is not normal, its desires are not normal, and everyone knows this fact down deep inside. The only way they can get tolerance is by threats, regardless if they are opening up children to all manner of abuse and insecurity (really? A boy in the girls' dressing room? Young women (11 yrs on up) who start to menstruate should not have to deal with this kind of thing--I can't believe anyone even has to say this).

Yes, this is nothing more than submitting, cowering really, to the bullying of a few that are trying to justify a sinful life choice. Suppressing the truth by their ungodliness, crushing their conscience--the fight against the truth of heterosexuality and more importantly, God's creative order of males and females and marriage, they are fighting a loosing battle. They cannot win against a thrice holy and just God.

1Co 6:9  Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality, 10  nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, will inherit the kingdom of God.

Jude 1:7  just as Sodom and Gomorrah and the surrounding cities, which likewise indulged in sexual immorality and pursued unnatural desire, serve as an example by undergoing a punishment of eternal fire.

Rom 1:23  and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images resembling mortal man and birds and animals and creeping things.
Rom 1:24  Therefore God gave them up in the lusts of their hearts to impurity, to the dishonoring of their bodies among themselves,
Rom 1:25  because they exchanged the truth about God for a lie and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever! Amen.
Rom 1:26  For this reason God gave them up to dishonorable passions. For their women exchanged natural relations for those that are contrary to nature;
Rom 1:27  and the men likewise gave up natural relations with women and were consumed with passion for one another, men committing shameless acts with men and receiving in themselves the due penalty for their error.
Rom 1:28  And since they did not see fit to acknowledge God, God gave them up to a debased mind to do what ought not to be done.
Rom 1:29  They were filled with all manner of unrighteousness, evil, covetousness, malice. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, maliciousness. They are gossips,
Rom 1:30  slanderers, haters of God, insolent, haughty, boastful, inventors of evil, disobedient to parents, 31  foolish, faithless, heartless, ruthless.

Rom 1:32  Though they know God's decree that those who practice such things deserve to die, they not only do them but give approval to those who practice them.

GLAAD Still Doesn't Get It

In the fallout over Wednesday’s suspension of “Duck Dynasty” star Phil Robertson by A&E for anti-gay and racist remarks, GLAAD is experiencing record levels of backlash.
“In the five-and-a-half years I’ve worked at GLAAD, I’ve never received so many violently angry phone calls and social media posts attacking GLAAD for us speaking out against these comments,” the media watchdog organization’s vice president of communications Rich Ferraro told TheWrap.
What GLAAD doesn't understand is that it's not about whether or not the majority of Americans agree with Robertson. It's simply about the bullying and intolerance of expressing one's views here in America and losing one's job or being silenced for a view that others might disagree with. (When homosexual activists get really offended, they literally become violent and use death threats--so let's talk about GLAAD's claim of "violently angry" phone calls and posts on social media--their view is typically warpped anyway).
That's why the folks at TMZ (liberal entertainment rag), L.A. radio talk show hosts, sodomite columnists and university professors, are (surprisingly) seeing the glaring hypocrisy. Most, if not all of them, qualify their statement of "I disagree with Robertson's views" but they also all  agree that he does have the right to speak his mind (and they also agree that A & E has the right to air or not air any show they wish). So it has little to do with agreeing with the views, and more about the intolerance. Paglia summed it up here.
GLAAD, in their blindness, immaturity, and radical agenda, think its that the complainers all agree with Robertson and therefore think Americans need "more education" (i.e. bullying and indoctrination).
Quite the contrary.
It's GLAAD that needs an education in what freedom of speech is in America as well as what tolerance is--if they are going to demand the same of the rest of us.
The reality is that only about 2% of the population is homosexual. It IS a minority in our country and it IS a sinful behavior that is perverted and twisted and earning God's wrath. Most people know its wrong, but because of the constant bullying, intimidation, and indoctrination (using fake science claims, at that--there is NO "gay gene" despite the claims of the media),  they feel they can't say anything critical about the homosexual lifestyle. That's nothing short of homofacism.

NY's Teacher Union President Spews Violence and Bullying For Anyone Who Dares to Reject Common Core

Video surfaced on Thursday showing Michael Mulgrew, president of New York’s United Federation of Teachers, as he unloaded a hateful rant against critics of the Common Core Standards Initiative.
If someone takes something from me, I’m going to grab it right back out of their cold, twisted, sick hands and say it is mine!” Mulgrew bellowed clownishly. “You do not take what is mine!
The union boss also challenged opponents of Common Core and union control over education to a fist fight.
I’m going to punch you in the face and push you in the dirt because this is the teachers!” Mulgrew threatened.
End quote.

~Daily Caller

What happened to the anti-bullying campaign that no doubtedly runs in "HIS" schools? He sounds more like a union thug than an informed, reasonable man.

Compare this with what a teacher who actually worked with Common Core development and review said:

We spoke with Brad McQueen, a 5th grade teacher from Arizona who after working on the development/review of rubrics and questions on the PARCC/Common Core test grew disgusted with what he was seeing and decided to speak out about it, ultimately self-publishing a book titled “The Cult of Common Core.....”
McQueen:The Common Core is much bigger than just a set of standards, a test, or a data gathering machine. Like a virus, the Common Core tricks its victims into lowering their guard by pretending to be something it is not. But the Common Core isn’t just a mindless infection of our society; rather it is an intentional takeover of our education delivery system and therefore a takeover of our children’s minds. It is a one-size-fits-all, homogenized, centrally controlled education delivery system steeped in Progressive ideology. It is antithetical to everything that makes our country exceptional. This cult is relentlessly pulling our children under its control, with a seemingly endless supply of money, and uses intimidation to silence its opponents.
By taking over how our kids think the Common Core will be used to shape future generations of citizens and their relationship with their own true history and their government. Sovereignty over education was always too decentralized into the states to do this in the past.
Many people are focusing on the incompetent implementation of the Common Core tests or the need to rework the standards. The reality is that the entire Common Core beast, including the never-before-tested-standards that were created in secret, the tests which were based on those standards, and the data suctioning systems which were put in place to track our children’s personal information and monitor teacher compliance with Common Core Central, should be slayed and buried in total. States’ Governors and Superintendents of Education were elected to protect the interests of our children, yet they let this Common Core beast through the gates. There should be a call for them to resign and/or not seek re-election in light of their educational malpractice.
Having said all this, the one concrete thing that Americans should fear most is the NSA-like data suctioning systems set in place by the Common Core groups to gather all manner of data about our children and their families starting in preschool and going up through college and career. (More on that in the later question on SLDS).
~Interview withThe Blaze

Mulgrew either is ignorant or has drunk the liberal union kool aid. And he doesn't mind bullying others who disagree with him and his MINE MINE MINE union.

Sodomite Bullies Bakery For Not Making a Cake to Celebrate Illegitimate Union

More bullying by the sodomite activists that demand everyone accept their wicked behavior, this time a bakery. A private business has every right to refuse service to anyone they want, but the sodomites don't like that. Instead of going to a bakery that has no convictions against their sinful lifestyle, they are going to bully this one bakery for daring to not agree with their choice of sexual immorality.

It is bullying.

Its intimidation.

Its wrong.

"Rights" for everyone who accepts their liberal agenda, but zero for those who vehemently disagree with them and won't cower to their bully tactics.

Interestingly, this bully tactic is never ever taken against Muslims. Ever. I find this hypocritical. Liberals will bend over backwards to accommodate Islam (even when its against sexual immorality, feminism, drinking, certain foods, and even financial policies--in a word, Sharia Law), yet they demand Christians to violate their principles. Why? Because Christians won't take a sword and slaughter those that oppose them? They won't bomb those who insult Jesus Christ or desecrate the Holy Bible?

Yup. We're non-violent unlike Muslims. So the sodomite bullies find Christians as "easy" prey to pounce on.

Shame on them.

HYPOCRISY: LA Sodomite Bar Refuses Service To Anti-Sodomite Legislatures, Yet Liberals Attack AZ's Proposed Law Allowing Businesses To Deny Service to Sodomites

David Cooley, the founder of The Abbey Food & Barlocated at 692 North Robertson Blvd., has announced the popular gay bar will add any legislator in any state who votes for “bills to allow for discrimination against LGBT people” to a “Deny Entry List.”
In a statement, Cooley said The Abbey will also display headshots of each state representative who support bills on the security list, including Kansas House Bill 2453, Arizona Senate Bill 1062, Idaho House Bill 426, Ohio House Bill 82 and other similar proposals.

Yet:

As Republican Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer weighs whether to sign a bill that would allow businesses to deny services to gay customers, top national Republicans just want the issue to go away.
Proponents of the legislation — which Brewer has until Saturday to sign or veto and is reportedly leaning against — say the bill is designed to protect religious liberty. But many Washington Republicans see it as a political loser, giving the left another cudgel to attack conservatives as intolerant while motivating liberals and younger voters ahead of the midterm elections. It also threatens to widen the chasm between social conservatives and GOP operatives, who have become increasingly public in their support for gay marriage.

~WND

***UPDATE****

A bar owner in West Hollywood can deny entry to anybody he thinks is not sympathetic to LGBT issues, but a business owner in Arizona cannot lawfully protect and adhere to his or her religious views which are constitutionally protected.  And the effort to make that bakery or any other business -- wedding photographer, wedding cake baker -- to force them to do business with people that they religiously object to, why, that's not bullying anybody. Why, no, it's just the way it ought to be.
Can we agree, ladies and gentlemen, selective enforcement of the law is wrong?
A bar owner in West Hollywood: you're not getting in here if you're not sympathetic to gay issues.  Somebody bakes cake or takes photos in a business refuses when a gay couple walks in, then all hell breaks loose.

Rush Limbaugh sees the absolute hypocrisy of this too.
But again I say, the liberals won't DARE deny the "right" to religious freedom of Muslim business owners to sell something or to someone if it violates their Sharia Law. Nope, only conservatives/Christians get their rights taken away.

HYPOCRITICAL!

Neutrality by the State? Promotion of Islam, Bullying of Concerned Parent, and Weeding Out Any Other Than Pro-Sodomy Foster Parents

A team of legal experts well versed in religious and civil rights is praising a school district in Ohio for shutting down a video that has been used in 7th grade classes – and proselytized students to join Islam – without waiting for a court battle.
“I applaud the school district for resolving this issue without litigation,” said Richard Thompson, president of the Thomas More Law Center, which worked on the case involving the schools in the Olmsted Falls District.
He was, however, distressed to find during the course of his investigation that at least one teacher had ridiculed and disparaged the parent who raised concerns about the proselytizing, and “even suggesting she should be fired from her part time job as alumni director for the school.”
“Teachers may not constitutionally show video tapes that violate the neutrality they must maintain toward religion or that engage in religious instruction,” he said. “Showing ‘Muslims and America’ violated those principles and the Establishment Clause of our Constitution.”
That is a fair resolution. However, the teacher who was bullying a parent should be removed and educated on just how horrific Islam is (starting with being anti-women). Little does she know that Islam seeks women like her to do their dirty work.

Then there is this. Excerpts:
A video has been uncovered of Massachusetts officials promising to weed out foster parents with conservative values who would only “tolerate” a youth’s gender confusion and not endorse it.
The DFC speakers confirmed that they are ‘weeding out’ adoptive and foster parents who are not willing to wholly accept and support LGBT (lesbian, “gay,” bisexual, or transgender) self-identification by a child in their care,” she wrote.
Michelle Gordon, a recruitment officer for the state child welfare office, is shown on the video speaking.
“We are sort of setting new expectations,” Gordon said. “We’re weeding out some of this passiveness and sort of destructive behaviors that are occurring. It is often so subtle.
“There is some weeding out of foster homes that are still going on,” she said.

Silence From the Homosexual Activists On Homosexual Pedophilia

Where are the homosexual activists when it comes to pedophilia, as in the Sandusky case?  Where's the care for the children and their innocence being violated in the most heinous way possible? The silence is deafening.

“Also, since homosexual activists push so hard for Gay Straight Alliances in schools, many of which have clearly introduced younger gay boys to older gay men, it is difficult for gay activists to take the high moral ground when it comes to exposing and condemning Sandusky,” the conservative pundit contends.

“There have been problems at Penn State for a long time, and this report finally reveals it for the world to see,” Gramley commented. “Under the leadership of Graham Spanier and the free rein the board of trustees gave him, Penn State has been traveling down the wrong road and needs to get back on course. The culture that was allowed to exist created the scandal, ignored the cries of innocent boys and hoped to keep it under wraps to protect the school’s reputation. Additionally, what cannot be ignored is the homosexual connection – all Sandusky’s victims were young boys.

“One reason would be that there could be the appeal to horseplay or roughing it up or the like. And within the context of his charitable organization, it was expected for him to be around boys, showing a real interest in them,” Brown posited before giving the main reason that is consistently avoided by the media. “The other reason is that to report a homosexual pedophile means to risk giving homosexuality a bad name, and one does not do that and emerge unscathed.”
He said history already shows that influence.
End quote.
Bullying really does work. This is the politically correct (but morally and spiritually corrupt) mentality today. That's just wrong.

Challies and Discernment Bloggers: his rant continues as does his hypocrisy

It appears that Tim Challies is once again slamming, even slandering discernment bloggers.(Go here for Daniel Chew's recent article on Challies' continued attack on discernment blogs) The watchman, the discerner of discernment bloggers, the critic of critics, the bloggers of bloggers, Challies is this time up in arms about criticism he has gotten. No names of persons or blogs are given; no facts with evidence; only a general swipe at them as bullies, fear mongers, and liars because he says so.

Challies' Hypocrisy:

"The Christian’s attitude toward others, especially in difficult times, is to be one of optimism rather than pessimism, hope rather than doubt. We, of all people, should be slow to put aside hope and belief. This means that I owe it to C.J.Mahaney, to SGM and to those who have levelled allegations to believe the best about them, to hope all things for them."

~Challies on the sexual abuse charges against Sovereign Grace Ministries/church headed by CJ Mahaney (the case is going to court; go here for more info)

Yet the standard is different for discernment bloggers who take his public opinions, actions, etc. and test them against Scripture:

"The second lesson is one I am surprised I did not see before: Discernment bloggers often operate by fear...The discernment blogs are too often marked by neither truth nor love. " ~Challies

Indeed, Challies plays the victim when he's at fault for his own actions and double standards. He has repeatedly  given credence to enemies of the Cross (Rick Warren, Mark Driscoll Ann Voskamp, Donald Witney), shows little anger toward the nastiness going on at SGM, and then complains when his error is revealed by the light of truth.

The hypocrisy of Challies is that while he continues to slam discernment bloggers by slander (he claims they operate on fear and lies--accusations he doesn't back up in any specific way--just accusations of nameless people), he himself wrote a book on discernment. He allows himself to be the discernment blogger of discernment bloggers. He is unwilling to assign motives and indeed gives wide grace to the SGM sexual abuse charges ( or  false teacher Rick Warren for example), but is generous with his assigning motives and allegations against discernment bloggers that he doesn't like. He is unwilling to give the same grace and thus withhold his opinion and slander that he demands of everyone re: himself. That's the epitome of hypocrisy.

If Challies is upset with bloggers exposing his error, then he should either stop his error or stop reading about himself.  Perhaps he's in the wrong field of choice. Liberals want to consort with the enemy of Christ and then complain with those in Christ expose their disloyalty toward HIM and His flock. You can't play with fire and then complain when the fire department shows up with hoses turned on and dowsing the entire house. Its your fault for playing with the matches and starting a fire.

Challies' standard for everyone else but himself is hypocritical. Did he personally try to approach those he claims have slandered him? Does he see into their hearts to see if they have love or not? He knows their motives?  Did he verify the facts? Oh, he had them from their website? Cannot the same be said for those bloggers he's railing against? So how is his violation of his own standrd ok? If a person consorts with false teachers, they have invited rightful criticism. 2John 9-11 makes this very clear.

By trying to denigrate a much needed spiritual gift like discernment, into something so nasty he uses it like a cuss word (perhaps now he and others like him will just use the phrase "the D word"), labeling it as gossip, intimidation, lies, slander, bullying, merely shows that he can't stand under the weight of discernment. Are there people who really  do say nasty things? Sure. But so what? Challies  yet again makes sweeping generalizations and lumps all discernment bloggers into his trash can as worthless and gossiping bullies. A true mature believer won't keep reading about himself and then write a whole article about how he's a "victim" of his own public words. One thing I've learned is that when "famous online Christian experts" get publicly exposed for their error, their pride comes out in major ways. The non-committed, take-no-sides men suddenly take a side vehemently and come out slandering others themselves.

Mark Driscoll and Mars Hill Church Told to Step Down From Acts 29 Network

Acts 29 has supported Driscoll during recent controversies while relying on Mars Hill's BoAA to address the problems, the letter states.
"We have both publicly and internally tried to support and give you the benefit of the doubt, even when multiple pastors in our network confirmed this behavior," the letter says. "But we no longer believe the BoAA is able to execute the plan of reconciliation originally laid out. Ample time has been given for repentance, change, and restitution, with none forthcoming. We now have to take another course of action."
 ~ CT
Those men should repent and step down too. The arrogance is disgusting. Others kept telling them, but they clung to their money making idol. Only when it came to bad PR did they take action of any significance. What happened to Matt. 18???
Mat 18:15 "If your brother sins, go and show him his fault in private; if he listens to you, you have won your brother.
Mat 18:16 "But if he does not listen to you, take one or two more with you, so that BY THE MOUTH OF TWO OR THREE WITNESSES EVERY FACT MAY BE CONFIRMED.
Mat 18:17 "If he refuses to listen to them, tell it to the church; and if he refuses to listen even to the church, let him be to you as a Gentile and a tax collector.
Unless you are a man of POWER and prestige, your witness won't count for anything. Utterly pathetic.
I might also note the irony of the Emeregent desire to be rebellious and so un-churchy, having one man "in power like he know what he's talking about" has now been exposed for what it is: narcissism and fleshliness.
Had men listened to people like us 10 years ago, perhaps this could have been curtailed and the life of Acts “29” shortened, along with the deception of hundreds of thousands  with Reformergent (Reformed Emergents, aka New Calvinism) minimized. No one wanted to hear the serious concerns about Driscoll and Acts “29” and it took many to bear the ridicule of those who wanted to give Driscoll the benefit of the doubt and more time. The same way they have with Driscoll’s mentor and defender, John Piper. What Driscoll is, a false professor with no fruit but that of wickedness, has been known for at least ten years.
The man has never proven to have had true repentance. He plays the Christian rebel game, fooling those without discernment, but he has been transparent for years. He has yet to show true salvation that is met with true fruit of repentance.
God will not be mocked. People need to remember the way in which Driscoll has repeatedly treated that which is pure as if it’s impure. He has treated Jesus Christ with utter contempt and irreverence (“Vintage Jesus” is merely one book with multitudes of examples).  He treats intimacy with impurity. He treats the pastorship with irreverence.  His mouth, his thoughts, his pornographic charismatic visions, his bullying of others, his misogyny, are all fruit of wickedness while slapping the holy name of Jesus Christ onto it and calling it “authentic Christianity”.  We should stay out of the way as the HOLY HOLY HOLY One of Israel deals with this false teacher who mocks Christ our Sovereign Lord.

The FBI Will Accept the Quran As "The Word of 'God'", But Not The Bible

The FBI has censored and modified hundreds of pages of materials to satisfy Muslim critics, including a change that was made because an agency “expert” insisted the Quran “is the revealed word of God.”
The details come from Judicial Watch, which obtained documentation of the hundreds of pages of FBI memos, training documents and other paperwork that the agency purged on the demands of Muslims....
“The FBI’s purge of so-called ‘offensive’ material is political correctness run amok, and it puts the nation at risk,” he said. “The Obama administration needs to stop putting the tender sensibilities of radical Islamists above the safety of the American people.”
~WND
However, our own military is hounding and persecuting vocal Christians. Like I said, our government preys on Christians because we don't retaliate by violence, whereas Muslims do because that is the foundation and commands in the quran.
Simply stated, terrorism works.
So does bullying.
Time to get some courage, folks, because the fact is, Islam knows Westerners are cowards and gullible, and are in fact doing their nasty PR work for them so the Muslim leaders don't have to eve lift a finger to get stupid Americans and Westerners to fall in line and give them what they want. Those that do fall in line will be the first to feel the wrath of Islam, because Islam rejects all Western thought (worldview). Muslims know this. Informed Christians and Conservatives know this. Liberals don't and will wonder what happened to their freedom when Sharia law becomes prevalent. Its already happening. Go check out Dearborn, Michigan, or go Jihad Watchhere and here.

Common Core Curriculum Is Now In Place for 45 States in the US

Joshua Cook reports :

Bill Gates was one of the leaders of Common Core, putting his personal money into its development, implementation and promotion, so it’s unsurprising that much of this data mining will occur via Microsoft’s Cloud system.
Even the Department of Education, though, admits that privacy is a concern, and that that some of the data gathered may be “of a sensitive nature.”  The information collected will be more than sensitive; much of it will also be completely unrelated to education.  Data collected will not only include grades, test scores, name, date of birth and social security number, it will also include parents’ political affiliations, individual or familial mental or psychological problems, beliefs, religious practices and income.

In addition, all activities, as well as those deemed demeaning, self-incriminating or anti-social, will be stored in students’ school records.  In other words, not only will permanently stored data reflect criminal activities, it will also reflect bullying or anything perceived as abnormal.  The mere fact that the White House notes the program can be used to “automatically demonstrate proof of competency in a work setting” means such data is intended to affect students’ futures.

Perhaps even more alarming is the fact that data collection will also include critical appraisals of individuals with whom students have close family relationships.  The Common Core program has been heavily scrutinized recently for the fact that its curriculum teaches young children to use emotionally charged language to manipulate others and teaches students how to become community organizers and experts of the U.N.’s agenda 21.

End quote.

You can bet Christians will be the biggest target of all.
The Home School Defense League Association's Q&A on Common Core's philosophy and impact on private and home schools:

#4
Three threads of philosophy weave through the Common Core—statism, moral relativism, and progressivism, which are revealed both by what is proclaimed and what is omitted. The statist goals of the Common Core are implicit in the lockstep uniformity that is the central thesis of the program. All children in all states will learn the same content in the same manner so that the children may become useful workers. Traditionally, education has been premised on the notion that all education of value is designed to know truth that only can be fully known in God. The omission of the pursuit of truth as a core goal of the Common Core demonstrates its alliance with the dominant philosophy of modern education that there are neither absolute truths nor absolute values. Finally, we see progressivism in the view that all that is new is inherently superior to that which comes from prior generations of human knowledge.
The obvious influence of progressivism and relativism in the structure and goals of the Common Core reveals a view of education that is contrary to the desires of parents and educators who have chosen to pursue homeschooling, private schooling, and other forms of educational choice.

#7:

The current impact of the Common Core on home and private education is revealed in the expanding state longitudinal databases, shifting college admissions expectations, newly updated curricula, and revised standardized tests. All these are fulfilling education historian Diane Ravitch’s prediction that “no one will escape [the Common Core’s] reach, whether they attend public or private school.”2

Perhaps the most immediate threat to homeschool and private school students is the expansion of statewide longitudinal databases. The designers of the new systems fully intend for homeschool and private school students to be part of the massive data collection. At the National Conference on Student Assessment in 2011, officials from Oklahoma explained to CCSSO how the challenge of meeting the data requirements of federal and state education policies are motivating them to “Include student groups not now included (e.g., home-schooled) in the data system.”3

Richard Abanes Attacks Rick Warren's Critics and Threatens a Law Suit

Ingrid Schlueter has posted this today at Slice of Laodicea:

Attack on Apprising Ministries *Updated*

Jul 26 by Ingrid Schlueter

*Lighthouse Trails Research has a post up now about this situation.*

Before I leave town, I am going to address the situation with Richard Abanes and what he did to Ken Silva at Apprising Ministries. Abanes contacted the legal department at the ISP for Apprising Ministries and claimed that Ken had posted slanderous/libelous material at his site in a 2005 article. Abanes wanted the article pulled. The ISP, which is IPower, has said that they will delete the entire site by this evening if Ken doesn’t comply.

Having read the article, many of us are at a loss as to what slander Richard is talking about. Further, it’s been up since 2005, and he only now decides to go after the author? Richard claims he never contacted Ken about it because he thinks Ken is arrogant and wouldn’t have changed any offending inaccuracies. This is the crux of the problem. The first step in any blog or website dispute over material is to contact the offender personally and ask for corrections or removal, based on what the issue is. That isn’t just Christianity 101, that’s common sense. Richard admits that Ken is a Christian brother. How much more important, then, that this step be followed. It was not, and now Ken’s site is in serious jeopardy because of Abanes’ bullying tactics.

Article continues here.

Apparently, its ok for Abanes to critique Ekhart Tolle, though:

"From a Christian perspective, what is perhaps most disturbing about Eckhart Tolle is his abuse of the Bible. It is one thing to disagree with scripture or to accept beliefs that are contrary to Christianity, but it is quite another thing to manipulate God’s Word to make it fit one’s own doctrines. And this is precisely what Tolle does..."

I wonder if Ekhart Tolle will sue Abanes?

And isn't this hypocritical? He clearly doesn't want anyone to critique Rick Warren. But boy he judges Warren Smith, Bob DeWaay, Paul Proctor, Moriel Ministires, Daniel Chew, Roger Oakland, Gary Gilley, Lighthousetrails Research, John MacArthur, Chuck Smith, Dave Hunt, etc. for critiquing Rick Warren.

However, Abanes can critique Dan Brown's Da Vinci Code book, Ekhart Tolle's book, Pullman's "The Golden Compass", JK Rowling. He's even got some of these in book form to sell via Amazon.

Thou doth protesteth too much!

Is. 5: 20 Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; Who put darkness for light, and light for darkness; Who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!

Here's another website that takes on Abanes and Rick Warren. This is from March 2008.

Bud Press also was slammed by Abanes.

Perhaps Abanes has learned well from Warren on how to deal with dissenters.

Scripture addresses such people as Richard Abanes and Rick Warren:

2 Tim. 2: 16 Avoid godless chatter, because those who indulge in it will become more and more ungodly. 17 Their teaching will spread like gangrene. Among them are Hymenaeus and Philetus, 18 who have wandered away from the truth. They say that the resurrection has already taken place, and they destroy the faith of some.

2Tim. 4: 14 Alexander the metalworker did me a great deal of harm. The Lord will repay him for what he has done. 15 You too should be on your guard against him, because he strongly opposed our message.

3 John 9 I wrote to the church, but Diotrephes, who loves to be first, will have nothing to do with us. 10 So if I come, I will call attention to what he is doing, gossiping maliciously about us. Not satisfied with that, he refuses to welcome the brothers. He also stops those who want to do so and puts them out of the church. 3John 11 Dear friend, do not imitate what is evil but what is good.

For all those bloggers and pastors and others who have the gift of discernment and who care about the souls of your sheep and HIS Truth, so you have spoken out against Rick Warren and his false gospel and pragmatic man-centered ecumenicism,

Don't give up!

For Ken, Bud, Ingrid, and those listed above whom Abanes has publically attacked:

Mat 5:10 "Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness' sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Mat 5:11 "Blessed are you when others revile you and persecute you and utter all kinds of evil against you falsely on my account.
Mat 5:12 Rejoice and be glad, for your reward is great in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you.

Stand firm, and let nothing move you. Just stay faithful to the Word of God.

1Pe 4:12 Beloved, do not be surprised at the fiery trial when it comes upon you to test you, as though something strange were happening to you.
1Pe 4:13 But rejoice insofar as you share Christ's sufferings, that you may also rejoice and be glad when his glory is revealed.
1Pe 4:14 If you are insulted for the name of Christ, you are blessed, because the Spirit of glory and of God rests upon you.
1Pe 4:15 But let none of you suffer as a murderer or a thief or an evildoer or as a meddler.
1Pe 4:16 Yet if anyone suffers as a Christian, let him not be ashamed, but let him glorify God in that name.
1Pe 4:17 For it is time for judgment to begin at the household of God; and if it begins with us, what will be the outcome for those who do not obey the gospel of God?
1Pe 4:18 And "If the righteous is scarcely saved, what will become of the ungodly and the sinner?"
1Pe 4:19 Therefore let those who suffer according to God's will entrust their souls to a faithful Creator while doing good.

Bullying Americans

"But there is a larger story: this result shows the left’s continuing capacity to shape elite opinion by marginalizing positions that roughly half the country holds. Just as the left has caricatured opposition to same-sex marriage and abortion as retrograde and extreme, it just pulled off the same feat in the context of Obamacare: the case was made, and Roberts bought it, that a Court that has struck down 169 congressional statutes would somehow be dangerously activist if it added a 170th one to the mix. Its an undemocratic, disingenuous sleight of hand that the left is practicing, but it is winning: the cost is that it only widens the gap between Middle America and the elite." ` Artur Davis:
