“For too long, gay groups like GLAAD have used their political power and Hollywood influence to censor positive portrayals of former homosexuals. This irrational phobia of those who have overcome unwanted same-sex attractions perpetuates misunderstanding and harm against the ex-gay community,” PFOX said.

“It also demonstrates a disregard for diversity and a refusal to respect a basic human right to dignity and self-determination.”

Additionally on Sunday at a Bible study at his church, as London's Daily Mail was on hand to hear, said,

“I am just reading what was written over 2,000 years ago,” Robertson said. “Those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom. All I did was quote from the Scriptures, but they just didn’t know it. Whether I said it, or they read it, what’s the difference? The sins are the same, humans haven’t changed.

“If you give them the bad news, they’ll start kicking and screaming,” he continued. “But you love them more than you fear them, so you tell them.”

I don't think GLAAD or the mainstream media in the US reported Roberstons's comments.

Now I don't know what Robertson's doctrines are, so I can't  fully endorse him, but what I find interesting is what he said about loving others enough to tell them what the Bible says. That is what true Christians do. We tell others the biblical gospel of the biblical Lord Jesus Christ, which is good news, but with good news there's always bad news, so we tell them the biblical truth about their sins and offences against the thrice holy triune God of Scripture. I don't know if Robertson has done that, but that is what a true, biblical Christian does. We fear God and not man. And we love the souls of men enough to warn them and tell them the way of salvation from the set judgement before God and His wrath against sinners.
