More Women Sounding Off Against Feminist Sarah Palin And What She Represents

Two articles/commentaries I've read recently have some good comments I'd like to share:

Dr. Laura Schlesinger (I do not endorse her overall since she's not a Christian, but her argumenation regarding Sarah Palin reflects what I've already said):

Forget gender and race. I’m frankly and sadly caught in the dilemma of having to balance policy versus example in touting a candidate for the office of the First Family. I was ferociously attacked (what’s new?) when I spoke out strongly against Bill Clinton’s dalliances in the Oval Office. That situation quickly turned into a debate whether “private has anything to do with public.” Nonsense. Role models are very important. Children and young adults look to those who are visible and successful as a road map of what is acceptable behavior and emulate those actions over the morals and values their parents and churches have taught and tried to reinforce. It’s a tough go these days, when the “bad that men or women do” is used for entertainment purposes without judgment, or is excused because of political or financial considerations.

I am haunted by the family pictures of the Palins during political photo-ops, showing the eldest daughter, now pregnant with her own child, cuddling the family’s newborn. When Mom and Dad both work full-time (no matter how many folks get involved with the children), it becomes a somewhat chaotic situation. Certainly, if a child becomes ill and is rushed to the hospital, and you’re on the hotline with both Israel and Iran as nuclear tempers are flaring, where’s your attention going to be? Where should your attention be? Well, once you put your hand on the Bible and make that oath, your attention has to be with the government of the United States of America.

Child-care facilities are a necessity when mothers and fathers (when they exist at all) are unwilling or incapable of caring for their offspring. Unfortunately, they have become a mainstay of the feminista mentality that nothing should stand in the way of a woman’s ambition - nothing, including her family.

Any full-time working wife and mother knows that the family takes the short end of the stick. Marriages and the welfare of children suffer when a stressed-out mother doesn’t have time to be a woman, a wife, and a hands-on Mommy.

Olivia St. John who writes for World Net Daily had an excellent commentary. Some excerpts:

Bristol Palin, the 17-year-old, unmarried daughter of Sarah Palin, is pregnant. Although she plans to keep the baby and marry the father, her immoral shortcoming is still clear for the nation (and world) to see. Is it possible that her very busy, avowedly-feminist mother, the governor of Alaska and presumptive Republican vice-presidential candidate, could have made a moral difference, had she been more available for her daughter?

But is it the right time for Palin's children and for the children of America?

As Palin stole the spotlight, her husband and children stood off-stage watching. Bristol held her mother's 5-month-old baby and carried her unborn grandchild. I wonder if the children know what's ahead for them.

Sarah Palin considers herself a feminist, which gives her affinity with liberals like Geraldine Ferraro and Sen. Hillary Clinton, both of whom she honored by mentioning their achievements in her speech: "It was rightly noted in Denver this week that Hillary left 18 million cracks in the highest, hardest glass ceiling in America, but it turns out the women of America aren't finished yet and we can shatter that glass ceiling once and for all."

Described by Time magazine as fiercely competitive, Palin is not intimidated by juggling family with future responsibilities. She is ready for the challenge. But are her children?
It is clear that Bristol, at least, is not.

Last April, when Palin gave birth to her fifth child, she dutifully returned to her work as governor after three days. A few years prior, while serving as mayor of Wasilla, Alaska, she kept her infant daughter in a car seat under her desk while she worked in her office.

At a time when many former feminists cry foul upon realizing they were duped into thinking they could do it all, few seem to be asking if Palin can do it all.

More and more women who work outside the home say they are stressed and overworked. They regret ever having taken the mantle of both motherhood and working outside the home. They have discovered that under the weight of too much responsibility, something has to give – and any honest woman will tell you that it is the children who get the short shrift. After all, the pressure to make a project deadline in a salaried job is greater than the pressure to make time for one's own children.

While Palin is rightly applauded for her staunch pro-life stand, her embrace of a feminist worldview as it relates to family life is troubling. Palin's desire to "shatter the glass ceiling" is legitimizing the societal phenomenon of the career-centric absentee mother.

Assuming McCain wins the election, I can't help but wonder where under her vice presidential desk Palin plans to keep her bustling 1-year-old. Of course, there will be parent-substitutes to do that job.

In a 2006 edition of Mothering from the Heart, Audrey Broggi notes that Christians who ostensibly value motherhood are undermining it in their actions and words.

"I guess somewhere along the way, Christian women decided to listen to Betty Friedan," Broggi said. "See, the family can always take the back seat – even for the sake of 'the call.' You know what they say: 'God will take care of the children for the sake of ministry.'"

Too many pro-life conservatives who oppose a mother's "choice" to abandon her baby in the womb think little about how pro-choice they are when it comes to leaving children in day-care centers and public school warehouses 50-plus hours a week. A child's life doesn't end once he is born. He still needs his mother.
What message was sent to the mothers of America as Sarah Palin took the vice-presidential spotlight while her children watched from the shadows?

Palin And the Democrates

The former Republican vice-presidential nominee and heroine to much of the GOP's base said in an interview she views the electorate as embattled and fatigued by nonstop partisanship, and she is eager to campaign for Republicans, independents and even Democrats who share her values on limited government, strong defense and "energy independence."

[Does she not realize the electorate, and all politics are supposed to be partisan? Its a two-party system. ]

"I will go around the country on behalf of candidates who believe in the right things, regardless of their party label or affiliation," she said over lunch in her downtown office, 40 miles from her now-famous hometown of Wasilla — population 7,000 — where she began her political career.

"People are so tired of the partisan stuff — even my own son is not a Republican," said Mrs. Palin, who stunned the political world earlier this month with her decision to step down as governor July 26 with 18 months left in her term.

Both her son, Track, 20, an enlisted soldier serving in Iraq, and her husband, Todd, are registered as "nonpartisan" in Alaska.

[Again, politics is supposed to be partisan. This is basic American political science 101. The problem is that there is not ENOUGH partisanship, and THAT is why more people are opting out of a party, particularly from the GOP. The GOP is no different than the DNC whether by principles or by tactics. Palin's clueless.]

The governor, 45, said she shared former House Speaker Newt Gingrich's view that Republicans, now trailing Democrats and independents in registration in many states, should back moderate-to-conservative Democrats in congressional districts and states where Republicans stand almost no chance of winning.

[This IS the problem. Moderates are liberals. What's the point in having a party platform if the leaders and people don't hold to them?? And what's with this notion of voting for a Democrate if a Republican has no chance of winning???? Pragmatism is winning the day over principles and THAT is what is killing our society. Talk about playing politics! Do whatever it takes to claim a win? ]

The object would be to build a majority coalition that reflects what polls suggest is the current center-right tilt of the U.S. electorate as a whole.

The barrage of ethics complaints hasn't been totally partisan. A Republican activist named Andree McLeod has filed many of the complaints against Mrs. Palin.

"She put personal and partisan political interests before the state of Alaska," Mrs. McLeod told The Washington Times.

Mrs. McLeod said she became friends with Mrs. Palin in 2002 and later grew disillusioned when, in Mrs. McLeod's view, Mrs. Palin didn't live up to her ethics-in-office promises.

Mrs. McLeod said Mrs. Palin, before and during her campaign for vice president, used her gubernatorial communications staff to promote herself at state government expense rather than to promote Alaska. Regardless of whether elected officials in both parties do it, she said, "A rule is a rule, and politicians and their staff who violate a rule get punished. Why should Sarah Palin be any different?"

Another friend turned critic, Alaska Republican Chairman Randy Ruedrich, said Mrs. Palin worked assiduously with Democrats in the state legislature.

"Her Alaskan Democrat allies stood for rapid government growth, increased government spending and taxing energy to the maximum and definitely did not stand for limited government, spending restraint, strong national defense and energy independence," said Mr. Ruedrich, who described himself as an early mentor to Mrs. Palin.

At the mention of Mr. Ruedrich's name during the interview with the governor, the temperature in the room seemed to drop 20 degrees.

She hates the politics of politics; the division of two parties. Wait, division is ok IF its on HER issues. She's a double-minded, unstable person. That's not an insult, its an observation. Its the type of person the Pentecostal/Charismatic movement attracks.

This is the woman who said, “Get beyond the ideal of abstinence,” the 44 year old, new grandmother said. “Hey, life happens.” –Governor Sarah Palin to Greta Van Susteren on Fox News Channel, 2-16-09 in reference to her teen daughter Bristol’s pregnancy."

I think that statement is clear enough: her principles are merely theories and she throws them out when its too hard to personally hold to them, which violates the whole notion of principles to begin with. Not only that, abstinence and women at home raising their children and running the home are not options according to Scripture: they are commands for ever Christian wife. So we see her unstability or double-mindedness on various isssues. The lastest is to suddenly quit in the middle of her term as governor of Alaska. So much for her work ethic and integrity. She's not fulfilling her term she promised to her voters.

Anyway, I say there isn't enough partisanship! But partisanship should be based on principles. I'd be for two parties: Liberals and Conservatives. Let the moderates figure out their home is with the Libs. =)

Sarah Palin Continues To Show Her Liberalism: She Appointed Planned Parenthood Board Member to Alaska's Supreme Court

Here's the thing. If you know that a politican (or even a "pastor" or "scholar") is liberal in one area, you can be SURE they will be in other areas...even if you don't know where, right away. Case in point: Sarah Palin. As what happened with Arnold Schwarzeneggar, now its happening with Palin, but at least she was DEFEATED.

The more Palin talks, the more her liberalism shows. But it was apparent when she was running for VP. She is a feminist. This alone will tell you she's off. She says she's a Christian and Conservative and like I keep saying, what makes her either? Because she SAYS she is? But look at what she's proclaiming now that she isn't running for office. Look at what she proclaims now that life happened. She dumped her "Conservative values" for liberal pragmatism.

Gov. Sarah Palin on Wednesday picked an Anchorage judge to fill the latest
vacancy on the Alaska Supreme Court despite efforts by a conservative Christian
group to convince her to do otherwise.

Christen's application included her membership in several charitable
groups, including some from her past, but did not mention that she was on the
board of Planned Parenthood in the mid-1990s. The organization, which didn't
provide abortions in Alaska until 2003, is now on the opposite side of a
Palin-supported bill to require girls under 17 to get parental consent for an
abortion.

Back in the 1980s, Smith was executive director of the public interest
environmental law firm, Trustees for Alaska. The group currently is on the
opposite side of Palin over the listing of Cook Inlet beluga whales as
endangered.

So what makes Palin the Evangelical hero, exactly?

Obama Gaffes: Jacksonville, Charleston, and Savannah Are On the Gulf Coast

                                            

Someone tell Obama that Jacksonville,Georgia and Savannah are not on the Gulf Coast.

RUSH: Here's Obama on The Tonight Show Tuesday night and Leno said, "You mentioned infrastructure.  Why is infrastructure a partisan issue? I live in a town, the bridge is falling apart, it isn't safe.  How does that become Republican or Democrat? Why don't you just go fix the bridge?"

OBAMA:  I don't know. As you know, for the last three years, I've said, "Let's work together." Let's find a financing mechanism and let's go ahead and fix our bridges, fix our roads, sewer systems, our ports. You know, the Panama Canal is being widened so that these big supertankers can come in. Now, that’ll be finished in 2015. If we don't deepen our ports all along the Gulf, places like Charleston, South Carolina, or Savannah, Georgia, or Jacksonville, Florida, if we don't do that, those ships are going to go someplace else. And we'll lose jobs. Businesses won't locate here. So this is something that traditionally has been bipartisan. I mean, it used to be Republicans and Democrats, they love cutting those ribbons. RUSH:  Now let me take a stab at this because I can answer this easily.  Of course the gaffe there is Obama saying, "Look, we have to deepen our ports all along the gulf, places like Charleston, South Carolina, which is on the Atlantic ocean.  Savannah, Georgia, on the Atlantic ocean, Jacksonville, Florida, on the Atlantic ocean.  None of these are on the Gulf. 

Now, you remember what grief Sarah Palin got when she said she could see Russia from her house.  You remember that?  And you remember how that statement, maybe at the top of the list, that statement from Sarah Palin was the primary means by which the media set out to destroy her, her intelligence, her credibility.  And here is Barack Obama, not knowing what he's talking about, sounding so sure of himself.  In fact, the AP has written about this and doesn't even mention the gaffe.  They are whitewashing it.  They have written a story that essentially praises Obama's brilliance for understanding that we need to deepen the ports. They don't even touch on the gaffe.  This kind of stuff genuinely ticks me off....

RUSH:  By the way, folks, just to remind you: Sarah Palin never, ever said that she could see Russia from her house.  Tina Fey said it on Saturday Night Live impersonating Palin, and it became popularly assumed by people that Palin actually said it.  She never said it.  Yet Tina Fey impersonating Palin saying that she could see Russia from her house became one of the primary reasons for Republicans to run around saying, "Well, this woman's not smart enough....

Republicans, Democrats, everybody bought that she said that. It's embarrassing. The closest Palin ever came to saying anything like this was that you can actually see Russia from land there in Alaska, which is true! You can see Russia from parts of Alaska.  She never said she could see it from her house.

She never said it qualified her for foreign policy, which was part of the Tina Fey joke. Here we have a legitimate statement of gaffe proportions -- and, by the way, there were three or four of them on Leno and they're unremarked upon. The AP, in their effort to whitewash Obama's gaffe, actually added words to their report to cover for the guy.  The AP printed, quote, "If we don't deepen our ports along the Gulf (and in) places like..."

They added the words "and in," and they put them in parentheses, which means it's not a direct quote.  It's assumed.  But Obama didn't say "and in."  He said, "Our ports along the Gulf in places like..." They added the words "and in" and changed the whole thing. It's a whitewash, cover up.

That's not the first time Obama said the SAME THING as even Obama apologizer Mediaite admits:

That July speech also wasn’t the first time the President made such a reference. In remarks at an Atlanta, Georgia DNC event on May 19, the President said “Roads, bridges, ports all across the Gulf — I was down in Costa Rica meeting with the Central American Presidents, and I was reminded once again, Panama is revamping its canal; they’re going to be bringing in these mega-container cargo ships. And right now a bunch of those ships can’t dock in our ports all along the Gulf — Georgia, South Carolina, Louisiana. And if we don’t revamp those, we’re going to lose business.”

I think most people remember the constant criticizing of George W. Bush and his gaffes because the media used it to try to discredit Bush as a bumbling cowboy idiot from the backwaters of Texas (while he actually was a graduate of Yale University and got his MBA from Harvard, nor was he hopeless without a teleprompter). Also they hounded Dan Quayle (remember?), as Michelle Malkin noted according to News Busters:

Malkin's reax: "The parenthetical Obama Gulf gaffe rescue would be akin to putting an "(s)" after "potatoe" to cover for Dan Quayle." Exactly." 

More gaffes by Obama:

OBAMA:  Keeping our military strong means keepin' our families strong.  Michelle and vice ... president... uh... uh... eh... The, uh... Joe Biden's wife, Dr. Jill Biden, they've made this their mission.

RUSH:  Whew. Folks, that's not a gaffe.  He didn't remember her name, and that means probably that the teleprompter froze....

Obama on Leno, "The odds of dying in a terrorist attack are a lot lower than they are of dying in a car accident, unfortunately." Another gaffe. He did say that. I double checked this.  "The odds of dying in a terrorist attack are a lot lower than they are of dying in a car accident, unfortunately." Well obviously he's trying to say, "Eh, terrorism? It's no big deal. More people die in car crashes, unfortunately." 

He was trying to express solidarity with families who've lost people in car crashes, by acknowledging how terrible that is. (translated) "It's still terrible, very terrible. But terrorism is not nearly that bad." Infantile! In another gaffe, Obama said that Putin, Vladimir Putin,  used to head the KGB.  Putin did not head the KGB, never has.  Putin was a mid-level nobody there.  Putin was one of those guys in the KGB who was a climber. He was forever hoping, climbing that ladder, trying to get to the head spot.

But he never got there. 

He was a nobody.....

He looked out and he saw the dead!  Which, of course, he didn't.  And, in each one of these, if the media was inclined to talk about, it would be, "You know he didn't mean that!  You know he didn't mean that. Come on.  You know he knows Biden's wife's name.  What are you talking about?

Well, one example I'm talking about is I have not drank the Kool-Aid.  I do not believe that Obama is smarter than anybody else.  I do not believe he has cut a new path and is a politician unlike any we've ever seen regarding his intellect.  I don't believe any of this hocus-pocus.  I didn't believe it when they said it about Hillary, Smartest Woman in the World.

Which one do YOU believe?

Bristol Palin, 19, is back in the media spotlight as she helps promote the National Day to Prevent Teen Pregnancy on Wednesday....In an interview with ABC's "Good Morning America," Palin, who was appointed teen ambassador by Candie's Foundation for the awareness day, said she wants to send out the message that abstinence is the best and only way to prevent pregnancy.

What is wrong with these people who are used as poster children for moral causes yet they themselves are immoral and impure?

Sarah Palin: Parades Her Daughter, Now Is Upset With Media Treatment

Sarah Palin is up in arms about David Letterman making jokes about her and her daughter. Now she's got the support of a woman's advocacy group.

The problem is this: if Palin would stop parading her daughter around for political gain and compromise, she'd be far less of a target. Palin's feeling the affects of feminism and doesn't quite like it. She should get no more special treatment than any other politican. Perhaps she's not up to the task of being in the big leagues.

That said, David Letterman is a bumbling liberal. Why would anyone really expect him to be "nice" to Conservatives?

The Lie of Feminism: The Woman Can Have It All: the selection of Sarah Palin and feminism

It seems John McCain (R) is getting a lot of praise for his choice in Sarah Palin as his running mate. Her pull: she didn't abort her Downs Syndrome baby and she's a woman.

I think McCain showed yet again, his liberalism in his choice, in that Palin is a feminist. She is a member of "Feminists For Life." She was leader of Fellowship of Christian Athletes chapter at her high school.

Palin just gave birth to her Down's Syndrom baby, Trig, in April 2008. This little baby is merely 16 weeks old! He needs his mommy, as do her other kids save only the oldest who is in the Army (ages: 19,17,14,7, 16 weeks).

How a woman dumps her five children, including a handicapped one, as well as her husband, to persue HER career is inconceivable.

A woman cannot work full time AND be a mother. Period.

No one would conceive of a man being both a full-time on-duty police officer AND firefighter. So why do people think a woman can hold down two full-time jobs and do well at either one? That's insane! When you consider being a mother is FAR MORE than full-time (actually its a 24/7 committment), its astounding anyone would consider shoving Mom out the door to work MORE.

A woman cannot be a proper full-time mother if she's not home. Its completely impossible. Just as she cannot be a full-time employee when she's not in the office, she can't be fulfilling her duty as a mother and wife if she's away. This should be common sense.

If anyone tells you a woman can work outside the home AND be a "great mom" they are either lying or deceived. NO ONE can do both well. One MUST redefine "great mom" or even "great employee". Because that woman IS letting someone down and someone is suffering for her choice.

Employment outside the home, particularly full-time, indeed leads to a high rate of divorce. We've seen this over the years.

It also emasculates the man and his God-given role to be the provider and protector of the family. In addition, it increases his adamic bent to be lazy.

This is nothing but feminism and is pagan at its core. Feminism is the idea that a woman can do whatever a man can do and can lead men. It has more to it than that, but that's sort of the lowest common-denominator and its cross-gender. It goes back to the Garden with Eve taking the lead and listening, then obeying the Serpent, the Devil.

Consider these other results of mom's working outside the home full-time:

Her employer now dictates her schedule, NOT the family and certainly NOT her husband. She is under the submission of another man not her husband, which directly affects her availability to her own family.

No one can serve two masters.

It affects her availablity for ministry in the local church. Guess who the church calls when Susie, who just had a baby, needs meal? The stay-at-home-mom! Why, SHE has the time...she does nothing all day, SHE can cook a meal! The burden of ministry falls in the lap of women who are already working hard at home in obedience to the Lord.

The ministry of the woman isn't finished when her children are grown up, either. Its not the time to run out and get a "real" job or finally find her purpose. Her next orders from God is to train the younger women to love their husbands and children. This assumes many women do not know HOW to love them, SHOULD love them, and need to be involved in a local church where they can have godly training. That means the older woman needs to be available.

Other things to consider:

People justify sending the mom out to work because of financial "need". I ask, define "need" specifically and biblically. In America, this is essential. Is "need" owning a home? Is it having a brand new car? Is it an HD tv?Is it private school? Is it three different sports or expensive hobbies? Is it summer camp or retreats?

Examples in real life

I personally know a family where the husband is a school teacher and his wife has stayed home the whole time to raise their two sons. They do not own a home, but rather have rented a pretty small and pretty old apartment even to this day.

The same thing is true for another family I know: the husband works for a city as a CPA, the wife stays home and home-school's the three children, and they have been renting a small, old, apartment for all this time as well.

Both families make due without getting the newest car or biggest tv. Both minister to other families in many ways, even financially. God has supplied all their needs, and then some, and they are content (even if at first it was a struggle to release the dream of owning a home someday).


Another family I know had the wife quite working in the school district to stay home and start homeschooling. This required down-sizing, so they bought a smaller house that needed much repair. The husband worked at a grocery store for years, and recently retired.

Staying at home and raising your own children CAN be done. It SHOULD be done. But it seems Christians do not want to follow the Lord's ways and trust Him, but rather do things the world's ways. Everyone suffers when that happens.

Tit 2:3 Older women likewise are to be reverent in behavior, not slanderers or slaves to much wine. They are to teach what is good, Tit 2:4 and so train the young women to love their husbands and children, Tit 2:5 to be self-controlled, pure, working at home, kind, and submissive to their own husbands, that the word of God may not be reviled.
These instructions are NOT optional. They are commands. Obey The Master, and He will reward you with peace and wisdom even though you don't deserve it. Disobey The Master, shove your wife out to work, and reap the heavy consequences of disorder, chaos, greed, worldliness, pragmatism, temptation, neglect, and little if any, ministry in the local church. Moreover, you are dishonoring HIM and maligning the Word of God when you do so.

(Proverbs 31, btw, is not a "Day in the life of a woman". Its an overall photoalbum of the ideal woman; it covers her LIFETIME, so please don't use this chapter as a defense of a career woman who can have it all (the feminist lie).)

"Christians" defending Palin Using Same Mentality As The Pro-Abortion Debate

Its interesting to me to see "Christians" defend Sarah Palin's position as a leader at the expense of her family's needs, just like pro-abortionists.

They say its her right to choose to work full time. But the child suffers enormously without the mother around.

Just like its a choice to abort a child, even if it means making that poor baby suffer a slow and agonizing death.

Its the same mentality in thinking here (and no, I'm not saying those who support Palin are supporting abortion, but I'm sure I'll be accused of that). These "Christians" are not thinking of God's command of women to submit to their husbands as is proper in HIS design of marriage; they are not thinking of the ill affects on the children with a motherless home/family life; or a home with an emasculated father; they are thinking solely of the mother's RIGHT TO CHOOSE...not to abort the child, but dump it nearly as sooon as its born.

How utterly tragic and self-serving.

I believe people compromise Truth because they have a relationship at stake. I see this continue to come to fruition.

This doesn't please HIM in the least and it destroys families.

By the way, this notion of giving up ideals is EXACTLY what some Democrat said yesterday re: the Californian Republicans holding up the proposed state budget by one vote, which would tax us out the wazzo and increase spending. He said the Republicans should give up their idealism and do what's right for the State. I noted to my daughter how the Democrats are UNWILLING to give up THEIR ideals of socialism, but they want the Republicans to. Hypocrits. If you give up your principles, then they aren't principles!

I have been asking for a LONG TIME now, what makes a person "conservative" or a "Christian"? Because they claim they are? Or because their behavior matches up with what they proclaim?

Sarah Palin makes my point which I've noted this past week: when you have a "Christian" who compromises, you will find that there's a relationship at stake.

The feminism which I said Palin holds to, is manifesting itself clearly yet again. But like more and more "Christians", biblical doctrine AND practice is merely optional. God's judgment is coming folks, and it will start within His household. HE ain't winking.

P.S. Bristol and it seems Sarah, (where IS Ted in all of this???) seem to deny 1) the command of God to NOT fornicate, and 2) reject the Person and Work of the Holy Spirit in the lives of Christians.

They are no different than the God-hating world. What an UTTER shame.

Bad "Christian" Conduct

"Lamestream calls for empathy, even outrage, for a First Amendment violation that's on par with all the abuse we've brought to your attention as Obama stomps on our Constitution," Palin wrote on her Facebook page after the Obama administration's FCC aborted plans to monitor the country's newsrooms. "You've IGNORED us, you've marginalized us, you've left us for 'destroyed.' But when Obama's boot is on YOUR neck you finally wake the h*ll up and cry foul? Good Lord."

While she's right, she's wrong.

What I mean by that is this: she's right in her observation about the media (although some radio talk show hosts said that the media wouldn't mind the proposed FCC rule of content since most of them are on board with Obama---and therefore, such a ruling would get Fox and other "conservative" networks more in line with their agenda), she's wrong in how she said it.

Her words do not in any way reflect a Christ-centered heart nor fruit of the Spirit (self-control).

While I am appalled at the unlawful tactics of the Obama regime, and frankly it grieves me since my family came here on the Mayflower and I know the cost they paid for liberty and honor to God, her foul language and taking God's name in vain is sinful and uncalled for no matter the rage against the encroachment of our liberties.

If a professing Christian can't control their words on Facebook, they should get off.

Eph 5:3  But immorality or any impurity or greed must not even be named among you, as is proper among saints; 4  and there must be no filthiness and silly talk, or coarse jesting, which are not fitting, but rather giving of thanks.

Col 3:1  Therefore if you have been raised up with Christ, keep seeking the things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. 2  Set your mind on the things above, not on the things that are on earth. 

While we should as Christians, stand up for truth and righteousness and speak out against injustice, sin, and hypocrisy (all defined by Scripture of course), we should remember this world is not our home so the answer to our society's problems isn't a fleshly answer but a biblical one, and we should seek to obey the Lord in how we do it. Cussing isn't the way to do it whatsoever.

Biblical Christians are not pragmatists. We are biblicists. That means we don't believe that the ends justify the means. Rather we know that we are to seek God's ways and means because they are perfect, holy, and righteous. To be pragmatic means we seek the fastest way to resolve an issue. That's not God's way. Our eyes must be on the things that are above where Christ is seated, not on the temporary things of the earth.

But I say all of this with the qualification that I don't know if Palin is a true Christian. However, she does take the name and therefore must be evaluated by the biblical standard of Scripture.

The RNC and GOP Just Continue Their Liberal Arrogance

The RNC just confirmed my decision to leave it, as well as how far left its going. They've just selected Michael Steele as its chief.

Yahoo reports:

Steele, an attorney, is a conservative, but he was considered the most moderate of the five candidates running.

He vowed to expand the reach of the party by competing for every group, everywhere.

"We're going to say to friend and foe alike: 'We want you to be a part of us, we want you to with be with us.' And for those who wish to obstruct, get ready to get knocked over," Steele said.

"There is not one inch of ground that we're going to cede to anybody," he added.

"This is the dawn of a new party moving in a new direction with strength and conviction."


1.) Foes should not be welcomed into any party or group. They only serve to tear down the group and stop it from what it should do. It also lowers the standards of the group. There isn't common ground with opposing sides.

2.) The GOP needs to be obstructed with the liberalism its pushing. And it seems they don't care about those who are holding on to the traditional GOP platform ideals. That's not part of the new direction, but the old.

3.) Its all a game and they are using a black man to gain the black vote. This is racism and not principles. Its shameful. They did this with Sarah Palin...used her to get the feminist vote. They use their own people to get power. Unbelievable.

I don't know why the "new direction" whether its in politics or "Christianity" is ALWAYS to embrace the enemy. This doesn't show courage, but rather cowardice. They (liberals) want to be popular and standing on Truth is not popular. They lack integrity and honesty and consistancy and stand for NOTHING but selfishness and error.

Unbelievable. And they pat themselves on the back today thinking they are enlightened. It was the SAME PEOPLE who brought us Bush and the $750 billion dollar bail out. They are the ones who forced McCain on the GOP when there were FAR MORE qualified persons for the job (not to mention Palin was a terrible choice as well).

McCain Campaign Slams Palin Harder Than Obama: that's no surprise

Rush Limbaugh has reported that according to Carl Cameron of Fox News, the McCain campaign has been slamming Sarah Palin. It appears that they spent more time criticizing their own VP running mate rather than Jeremiah Wright, Bill Ayers, and Barack Obama combined.

If this is accurate, I am not surprised. I'm amazed that it shocks Limbaugh, though. After all, McCain is liberal, not conservative. McCain has been proven to have far more in common with the DNC than the GOP. Sorry, Rush, but this really is a "duh" moment. Why do you think Joe Biden went on t.v. claiming McCain would be a great VP for John Kerry back in 2004? Why do you think McCain voted along DNC lines for two Supreme Court Justices and various Senate bills? Why do you think McCain is pro-abortion, pro-illegal alien amnesty, pro-limited campaign contributions, and big-government bail outs?

HELLO?

So why did "Conservatives" vote for McCain?

If you want to rid the GOP of the moderates (read: Liberals), then don't vote FOR them.

MSNBC's Joy Reid: fake theologian but real ignoramous

The snarky judging by Joy Reid proves yet again, the immature, anger, and ignorance of the Left as they mock another Republican's family Christmas photos. What's wrong with these liberal women? 



"The best part of this jaw-dropping display of ignorance from MSNBC’s Joy Reid on Christianity? It comes in a segment called — wait for it — “Pretenders”! Reid argues that Sarah Palin, whose latest book celebrates Christmas, was a hypocrite and a bad Christian because … she put up a Christmas tree! Why, the noted Biblical scholar Reid smirked, that’s a violation of Scripture..."

Then Hot Air shares the transcript of Reid's ignorant rantings, where she said in part:

"REID: Certain parts of the Bible also appear to preach against let’s say, I don’t know, Christmas trees. Here’s Jeremiah 10-10, it reads: 

“For the practices of the peoples are worthless; they cut a tree out of the forest, and a craftsman shapes it with his chisel. They adorn it with silver and gold; they fasten it with hammer and nails so it will not totter. Like a scare crow in a cucumber field, their idols cannot speak; they must be carried because they cannot walk. Do not fear them; they can do no harm nor can they do any good.”"

Hot Air continues:

"Did anyone at MSNBC bother to research this particular reference from Jeremiah before calling hundreds of millions of Christians idolaters? Did they even bother to read it for comprehension, or did they just do a search at Bible Gateway for “tree” to fit their preconceived argument?" .....

Quite obviously, Reid and her cohorts at MSNBC like to think of themselves as the smartest people in the room. Unfortunately, as Reid has demonstrated all week, they’re just pretenders.

Let Me Get This Straight.....

So you can mock a photo of a white family holding a precious black baby and for saying the  father of two daughters is anti-women, and not lose your job, but if you say on your own time that homosexuality is sinful, you can (or at least others will demand it)?

Harris-Parry apologized via twitter for her remark. However, Pia Glenn (whoever she is) has yet to apologize for her really hateful and immature remarks. MSNBC did not make any comment either for this racist and misandryism nor for Martin Bashir's crude attack on Sarah Palin by asking someone to deficate in her mouth. He later resigned but MSNBC never apologized.

If Harris-Perry is really a bi-racial woman who grew up with a white Mormon family, as she said in a tweet, you'd think she would've said something to her racist panel mates.

It's all fun and games to them, except when they are the butt of racial or gender "jokes".

There is no wisdom among that panel. Just immaturity and foolishness.

Third Time MSNBC Slams Conservatives As Racists

MSNBC continues to slander Conservatives....And how they think by tweeting such vitriolic nonsense is "news" is beyond me. It's time for them to either grow up or get out.

*There was Joy Reid in December slamming Sarah Palin for having a Christmas tree in an old family Christmas photograph, wrong stating that the Bible teaches against Christmas trees.

*Then there was MSNBC's Mellisa Harris-Perry and panel who mocked Mtt Romney's family Christmas photo that included an adopted black grandbaby. As I mentioned in that article NY Daily News had reported:

"Daily Beast's Dean Obeidallah, also on the panel, chimed in that he thought the photo was "great." "It really sums up the diversity of the Republican Party and the RNC, where they have the whole convention and they find the one black person.""

*And now MSNBC came out tweeting that Conservatives wouldn't like the bi-racial Cheerios. Seriously.

MSNBC is full of hatred, racism, and lies. Their tweet DID reflect their views. We're seeing consistent racism bellowing from their network, trying to pin Republicans or Conservatives as racist, when it's nothing short of a lie. Usually when people make such attacks it's because they themselves are the ones guilty of such a thing. You know, like when these liberals judge others for judging.

It's too late to apologize because this is their pattern of vitriolic, irrational behavior. The MO these days is, you can SAY ANYTHING YOU WANT just as long as you eventually make an "apology". Sorry, but fake apologies are just as bad because they are a lie. Repentance, that is, turning away from one thing toward something else (turning away from slander and to the truth), is what they need to do, but haven't. Slam and then apologize is their way of saying what they believe but without too much heat. But slandering a person or group's character with insults is not only wrong, not only not true journalism, but is just flat out immaturity.
