Consider this notion in relation to the following:


Evolution or Creation in six literal days

Psychology or the sufficiency of Scripture alone (5 Solas)

Free will or total depravity (enslavement to sin) (TULIP)

Sodomy dna or God's curse of an unrepentant heart (spiritual)

Annihilationism or eternal destruction

Temporary life or eternal life

Hypothetical (potential) atonement or actual atonement

Partial or defective gospel or complete and perfect Gospel

Justification by works or justification by faith alone

Spiritual harlotry or spiritual fidelity

Pragmatism or biblical

Women teaching men or men only teaching mixed company

Immodesty or modesty

Amillenniallism or pre-tribulation Rapture and Millennial kingdom of Jesus Christ


The problem is that either one side is biblical or it is not. If you believe that one side is biblical, then any deviation is anti-biblical and therefore sin.

It is that simple.
