The tragedy of a believer losing a loved one is softened by the comfort of a loving, Sovereign God who remains in charge over all His creation and that HIS grace really IS sufficient for all things pertaining to life and godliness. The tragedy of an unbeliever losing a loved one is that they have no true hope, peace, or comfort and often times will re-write the Gospel (believing "good" people earn Heaven) to take the edge off their pain, thus doubling their offense toward the thrice Holy God.
I believe in God. I also believe God. “Discernment is not simply a matter of telling the difference between what is right and wrong; rather it is the difference between right and almost right.” -Charles Spurgeon. Scripture is my authority for all things regarding to life and godliness. 2 Cor.10:5 We are destroying speculations and every lofty thing raised up against the knowledge of God, and we are taking every thought captive to the obedience of Christ

The Tragedy of Death
The tragedy of a believer losing a loved one is softened by the comfort of a loving, Sovereign God who remains in charge over all His creation and that HIS grace really IS sufficient for all things pertaining to life and godliness. The tragedy of an unbeliever losing a loved one is that they have no true hope, peace, or comfort and often times will re-write the Gospel (believing "good" people earn Heaven) to take the edge off their pain, thus doubling their offense toward the thrice Holy God.
