The now popular video excerpt of the Sunday service features Perry coming up to the main stage of the Dallas megachurch and sharing what he experienced at this year's MegaFest gathering, including his decision to donate $1 million to a youth center planned by the megachurch....
Perry went on to relate that he had been in town to attend MegaFest and felt moved to write out a check for $113,000 after attending the "Woman Thou Art Loosed" conference where Pastor Paula White said that those in attendance who could, should write a check for $113 "for Psalm 113."
"My intention was to just leave the check and bless God," he said. "See, I love to give. I've been a giver all my life. You see, when people have given to you and sown into you and God has touched them and given you favor. When you have favor with..."

Besides the wholly anti-biblical nature of that entire escape, and not the least of which is that TD Jakes is a wolf--he denies the Trinity and preaches a false gospel of health and wealth, what also caught my eye was the begging of money: $113 "for Psalm 113".
One wonders why it wasn't proclaimed $1.13 for Psalm 113? Or $1,130? Isn't "Pastor" Paula shooting a bit low for someone who claims to have such great faith?
And since when is feminist Paula White, TD Jakes , or a megachurch "needy" ? They are the epitome of greedy false teachers who steal from women for their own gain.
Ps. 113, by the way is esteeming the HOLY HOLY HOLY God of Israel Whom these false teachers do not know and are under His fierce wrath, mocking Him and His name. Ps. 113 has nothing to do with giving to a damnable ministry nor even the poor. The focus is God Himself who needs NOTING, least of all their filthy lucre.
2Pe 2:2 Many will follow their sensuality, and because of them the way of the truth will be maligned; 3 and in their greed they will exploit you with false words; their judgment from long ago is not idle, and their destruction is not asleep.
Tyler Perry lets his right hand know what his left hand is doing by trumpeting his giving. But the thing is, not only was he trumpeting his giving, he "out-gave" what "the Lord" supposedly told ole Ms. Paula White---I guess that's what you call "100 fold" giving. He must be expecting that in return for doing God a "favor". That's the damnable gospel these people preach and the followers believe.
1Th 2:5 For we never came with flattering speech, as you know, nor with a pretext for greed--God is witness-- 6 nor did we seek glory from men, either from you or from others, even though as apostles of Christ we might have asserted our authority.
