Perry Noble Doesn't Like To Draw Theological Lines

Erin Benzinger reported about Perry Noble's latest attack on truth when he shared his unhappiness at the SBC uninviting Ben Carson to speak. He said in part:

"While I believe correct theology is essential to the core of Christianity itself, I do not think it should lead to division and condemnation of those who do not believe exactly as we believe. "

So if it's essential then why is it treated as an opinion? An essential by nature divides. If a doctrine is biblical then any other view or teaching contrary to it is a lie and is not of the truth. God is black and white. He is dogmatic. We should be too.

"No one on the planet had better theology than Jesus, and yet we do not see Him drawing theological lines in the sand and excluding people who do not believe just like Him—in fact, we find Him often sitting with people who were nothing like Him at all—has the Pastor’s conference moved beyond the model Jesus demonstrated? "

Astonishing. He's lying about the absolute dogmatic truth Jesus taught, because Jesus always corrected and drew a line with the Pharisees and Saduccees, including Herod ("beware of the leaven of Herod).  Jesus Himself said that He would bring  a sword not peace to households (John 10). Truth divides, but MORE, false brothers/apostates/false teachers themselves divide AWAY from the truth---they are the ones that often cause division.

Jud 1:18  They said to you, "In the last time there will be scoffers, following their own ungodly passions."
Jud 1:19  It is these who cause divisions, worldly people, devoid of the Spirit.

Rom 16:17  I appeal to you, brothers, to watch out for those who cause divisions and create obstacles contrary to the doctrine that you have been taught; avoid them.
Rom 16:18  For such persons do not serve our Lord Christ, but their own appetites, and by smooth talk and flattery they deceive the hearts of the naive.

Nobel yet again attacks the Bible and choruses with Satan in saying together with him, "Hath God said?"

Consider those who embrace Noble as a brother: Matt Chandler, Francis Chan, and Mark Driscoll.

2Jn 1:9  Everyone who goes on ahead and does not abide in the teaching of Christ, does not have God. Whoever abides in the teaching has both the Father and the Son.
2Jn 1:10  If anyone comes to you and does not bring this teaching, do not receive him into your house or give him any greeting,
2Jn 1:11  for whoever greets him takes part in his wicked works.

Oh yes, God is thoroughly dogmatic on all HE teaches in Scripture.
