Jesus Didn't Break the Law On The Sabbath

Mat 12:1  At that time Jesus went on the Sabbath through the grainfields, and His disciples became hungry and began to pick the heads of grain and eat.
Mat 12:2  But when the Pharisees saw it, they said to Him, "Behold, Your disciples do what is not lawful to do on a Sabbath."
Mat 12:3  But He said to them, "Have you not read what David did, when he became hungry, he and his companions;
Mat 12:4  how he entered the house of God, and they ate the consecrated bread, which was not lawful for him to eat, nor for those with him, but for the priests alone?
Mat 12:5  "Or have you not read in the Law, that on the Sabbath the priests in the temple break the Sabbath, and are innocent?
Mat 12:6  "But I say to you, that something greater than the temple is here.

Jesus is greater than David and the Pharisees, because Jesus is King of kings, God, Creator, and permanent High Priest. He IS our Sabbath. He is the Bread of Heaven.
He broke the Sabbath NOT the Law, because by Law, the priests could eat the bread on the Sabbath. As Author of the commandment and the Sabbath, He couldn't break it, but ONLY obey it, contrary to what today's Evangelical leaders accuse Him of.

Interestingly, David who is a type of Christ/Messiah and his companions were running from his enemies and the companions of Jesus were His disciples, and His enemies were the Pharisees.
