Their own words After the Ball by Marshall Kirk and Hunter Madsen (Marshall Kirk and Hunter Madsen wrote ‘The Overhauling of Straight America,’ which they later expanded it into a book, After the Ball — How America will conquer its fear and hatred of Gays in the 1990s, that was published by one of the America’s largest publishing houses (Doubleday) and became a national bestseller):

And when we say talk about homosexuality, we mean just that. In the early stages of any campaign to reach straight America, the masses should not be shocked and repelled by premature exposure to homosexual behavior itself. Instead, the imagery of sex should be downplayed and gay rights should be reduced to an abstract social question as much as possible. First let the camel get his nose inside the tent–only later his unsightly derriere!

Would a desensitizing campaign of open and sustained talk about gay issues reach every rabid opponent of homosexuality? Of course not. While public opinion is one primary source of mainstream values, religious authority is the other. When conservative churches condemn gays, there are only two things we can do to confound the homophobia of true believers. First, we can use talk to muddy the moral waters. This means publicizing support for gays by more moderate churches, raising theological objections of our own about conservative interpretations of biblical teachings, and exposing hatred and inconsistency. Second, we can undermine the moral authority of homophobic churches by portraying them as antiquated backwaters, badly out of step with the times and with the latest findings of psychology. Against the mighty pull of institutional Religion one must set the mightier draw of Science & Public Opinion (the shield and sword of that accursed “secular humanism”). Such an unholy alliance has worked well against churches before, on such topics as divorce and abortion. With enough open talk about the prevalence and acceptability of homosexuality, that alliance can work again here.

So this campaign has worked well but for one big reason: the spiritual condition of the American churches. The "moderate" churches are those that deny the absolute authority of Scripture for all things pertaining to life and godliness, who instead see "science" and the world's philosophies (evolution, psychology, gnosticism) as the means by which they can obtain spirituality (not true eternal life through the Person and work of the Lord Jesus  Christ, but rather a form of "godliness" but they deny its power (2Tim. 3:5) ). Without the denial of the absolute authority of Scripture, there would be no "moderate "church. "Moderate" is another word for "fake". Moderate churches, because they reject the lordship of the Lord Jesus Christ and the Scriptures as fully and solely authoritative, they therefore are not true biblical Christian churches as defined by Scripture. Moderate churches are easily pliable to secularism because they accept secularism's many theologies.

The lack of biblically faithful pastors in the puplits who faithfully teach and preach the Scriptures is the other problem. With a famine for God's Word and a famine of biblical pastors, the world will waltz its way in and attract most people. Remember, the road to eternal life is narrow and few that find it (Matt. 7:14).

As Satan did in the Garden of Eden with Eve, he attacks Scripture and casts doubt upon it and the character of God, as he tries to entice people with a "higher" "better" knowledge that he tells people we don't have and that God neglected to give us. He promises freedom as he seduces the mind and then the heart, but in reality he is enslaving them to himself (2 Peter 2:18-20).

The only thing that stands in the way of accepting any part of sodomy is the Triune God and His Word. Since God is the Creator of all things and has already spoken what is appropriate and inappropriate behavior and relationships, along with what is sin and what is righteousness, He is the sole One with Whom the world hates to bow to. The war of the sodomy agenda isn't really with biblical Christians, folks, its with our triune God of Scripture, the HOLY One of Israel. We are the battlefield on which the war is waging. But we who are in Christ Jesus mus stay loyal to Him alone and His Word and not capitulate one inch to the enemy. Instead, we hold fast to the unwavering truth and proclaim the Good News of Jesus Christ,warning them of eternal damnation if they refuse to submit, love, and worship Him and forsake their sins.

The Numbers Continue To Prove That Sodomy Is A Tiny Minority

This statistic has not changed in decades.

The National Health Interview Survey, which is the government’s premier tool for annually assessing Americans’ health and behaviors, found that 1.6 percent of adults self-identify as gay or lesbian, and 0.7 percent consider themselves bisexual...The overwhelming majority of adults, 96.6 percent, labeled themselves as straight in the 2013 survey.

It also shows that it is unnecessary by sheer numbers, to change the definition of "marriage" to suit an abnormal minority of the population (besides of course, the biblical and historical fact).

Becareful with studies you hear about. How a study is done (or faked), by whom, if everything is revealed (who's funding the research), and HOW ITS REPORTED can help you decide if what is being alleged is true or not. Remember, there's no such thing as an UNBIASED study, even the questions are slanted to get a result. This is true about the supposed, but totally unproven "report" of a "gay gene". NPR reporters didn't know to read the research and therefore wrongly reported about the existance of a "gay gene". Go here for the important article "Gay Gene?" by Dr. Jeffrey Satinover. LDS Leader Softens Speech and Stance on Homosexuality:

Well, interesting in the timing, considering Glenn Beck is soft on homosexuality himself---especially since the LDS was a large backer in one way or another for Prop 8 here in CA on the ballot some months ago, which was passed and then rejected by one judge--that's the bill that would keep marriage to one man and one woman. Perhaps Beck was readying the LDS followers for the upcoming speech....whether deliberate or not. Timing is everything.

Then again, LDS's foundation is based on control and sexual immorality (polygamy) anyway. Like Islam. They can't promise freedom because they themselves are enslaved to sin, dead in their sins and trespasses, and can only violate God's commands.

"Conservatives" Leaders Are Embracing Homosexuality

Today's "Conservatives":

Rush Limbaugh pays $1 million to Elton John to sing at his fourth wedding.

Ann Coulter is speaking at an event that is hosted by GOPROUD, a homosexual "conservative" group. She went bullistic on Farah for Worldnetdaily's dropping her from their upcoming "Taking America Back National Conference". She throws ad homs and personally attacks him, which tells me someone that angry is very defensive.

I noticed Coulter going down this road a few years ago, making some statement about how the GOP is big enough to include homosexuals.

Homosexuality, besides being unbiblical, is against good morals. This is why its shunned by true conservatives. Its not personal, its principles. I'll just be honest. Homosexuality is a sin.

I left the GOP a few years ago because it has gotten quite liberal while I'm going in the opposite direction. Its becoming so that there's little difference between the two parties anymore, either morally or fiscally. I know. I live in California. Enough said, eh? =/

Then there's Glen Beck who also thinks that while America is going down the tubes, homosexuality isn't a threat. Say what?

I'm fearful that Glen Beck is also head the same direction as Coulter, because he made it very clear that dealing with immorality like homosexuality isn't "what he does" yet he says American is going down in flames. Well, one need merely to look at Romans 1 in Scripture to see this happening, and homosexuality IS an enemy on a multitude of levels---whether morally, financially (big socialist programs), or shutting down the rights of those who oppose them (the intolerance of the tolerant left). So we'll see which way Beck will end up. Time will tell. It already has with Ann Coulter, sadly.

In dealing with Beck in a different article, WND quotes Joseph Farah, editor and founder, "When conservative leaders like Beck shrug off the ramifications of same-sex "marriage," they unwittingly reject traditional marriage's biblical ordination and its history as the bedrock protector of women, children and a free, self-governing society, said Farah."

The article goes on to note the hypocrisy of Beck who's trying to show the infiltration of Marxism in our country.

Dave Kupelian and Joseph Farah are right. These "conservatives" are playing right into the hands of the Left.


Now we can't forget Dick Cheney's endorsement of same-sex "marriage"; the timing shows it was likely due to his daughter deciding to become a lesbian.

Then there's Cindy McCain and her daughter (Meghan, who works holds a little elephant figurine....how quaint) who support same-sex marriage--by posing for a print ad for "NOH8".

As well as Laura Bush. She thinks same-sex "marriage" should be legal, and abortion should remain legal.

Conservative? How, exactly?

Christian? Not at all.

Joseph Farah also writes on this issue of how "Conservatives" are actually liberal, and how disheartening it is to be in the minority of those who know that homosexuality, for instance, is a sin and should be shunned. (Note: I can't endorse all of the WND site b/c I do have some doctrinal problems with some of the contributors, so always read with caution).
