Psychiatrists want to remove pedophilia from the APA's DSM, thus legitimizing it.

Some psychiatrists within the APA are trying to normalize pedphilia.  Of course, this is exactly what the APA did with homosexuality in 1973 in order to normalize it. However, both homosexuality and pedophilia are not mental illnesses ("mental" is not to be confused with the brain--"mental"  consists of the  thoughts and emotions, not an organ), but rather the sin of immorality.

Consider the havoc that will play upon the children and the court system. This is utterly sick, but it goes to show yet again, just how arbitrary and subjective psychology is---if its in their little "bible" of the DSM, then its an "illness", if not, its not. Even diagnosing an "illness" is subjective and without any objective medical tests (there are NONE).

The Idol of Psychology

Psychology has so infiltrated the Evangelical Church that taking a stand for the purity of the Word of God often brings division among Evangelicals. The few voices who speak out against integrating psychology with the Bible are often criticized. They are accused of being unloving and divisive. The focus has become their personalities rather than whether they are doctrinally correct or not. As a result, there has been a blurring of the true doctrinal issues.

On the other hand, many Christian psychologists have become so popular that to criticize their teaching is almost like attacking the Bible. Undoubtedly, most Christian psychologists are well intentioned people with a desire to help others. Good intentions, however, are not the issue. Nowhere in the Bible do we find God accepting of people with good intentions who put aside the clear teaching of the Word. Much damage can be done with good intentions. Therefore, intentions, sincerity and earnestness are not the issues in this debate. The issue is whether today’s Christian psychologists are mixing men’s ideas with the Bible. When I analyze the doctrine of these men, I am convinced they are promoting doctrine that is contrary to the Bible and are addressing man’s spiritual problems from an unbiblical viewpoint....

Shepard Smith yesterday afternoon on Fox News Studio B with Shepard Smith was a little amazed at something.

SMITH:  It is impressive that literally 24 hours after this storm hit there are cleanup crews and tear-down people, and they are working on every corner.  It's astounding how quickly they got started.

RUSH:  He can't believe it.  A tornado hit and then 24 hours later, my golly, they're already starting to rebuild.  Can you believe that?  Why, they're not sitting around feeling sorry for themselves and sucking on straws and stuff. Why, these people are actually tearing down stuff and starting to rebuild already.  Who woulda thought, I mean, the government's not even there yet.  FEMA's not even there yet.  They haven't even gotten their disaster money yet, Mabel, look at those people.  They're already starting to rebuild.

RUSH: I want to play a sound bite from a montage of people who lost everything.  From last night and this morning, these are tornado victims in Oklahoma.  This is what I mean when I say that these people are the backbone of this country.

MAN:  My security isn't in the things I own.  My security is in the Lord.

WOMAN:  The last thing we lose in a situation like this is faith.  We have to hold onto faith and trust God every moment.

MAN:  You salvage what you can salvage. You thank God that he has another plan for you.

AMANPOUR:  The words that he's saying, this man, who's been captured on cell phone video, are almost exact replicas of what these 7/7 bombers said in their video that they left before they blew up the underground and the buses.  It's almost the exact replica of what Dzhokhar Tsarnaev wrote on that boat that he was found in, you know, the end of that manhunt. An eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth.  But the question really is, are these people part of a bigger conspiracy, a bigger Al-Qaeda?  And just about everybody that I've spoken to today says it does not look like that.  This was very, very low tech. It seems to be homegrown. It seems to be lone wolf, if you like, even copycat kind of crime.

Sadly, Amanpour and the rest of the liberals are utterly ignorant of Islam and its history. Their first mistake is to believe its merely a religion. It is not. Its a political religion and the jihadists in London made that point very clear, especially the one that spoke to the camera with his hands dripping with blood. Its the heart of Islam: to subdue all nations by conquest if they are unwilling; i.e., submit or sword. Its in the quran and the hadiths; it was the way of Muhammad (later we see it in the Crusades). Its a religion that seeks not merely religious power, but political power which is why there is this nasty thing called Sharia law. Its pervasive in dozens of American Mosques.

Correctly, Greg Hengler notes that its therefore impossible to reform Islam; to do so would mean its no longer Islam. Very true and very much what I've been trying to hard to tell people. The sanitized version of Islam here in the West isn't real Islam; its a version of it that doesn't exist anywhere else and not in any Islamic country. Its a ploy to bait ignorant and undiscerning Westerners to accept Islam, with the goal of taking over the nations (see the UK, France, and Sweden).

AG Eric Holder Personally Involved With Search of Reporter's Emails

Attorney General Eric Holder personally signed off on the search warrant of Fox News reporter James Rosen's emails, NBC reports.

A law enforcement official told NBC News of Holder's personal involvement on Thursday. Holder has previously said that he recused himself from the AP phone records investigation since he had been a witness in the initial probe, but no one had previously indicated Holder's role in the Rosen case

How shall we have Christ always within us? Ride on him! “Christ never yet forsook in need, the soul that trusted him indeed.” Don’t wait for some consciousness of Christ’s presence before you trust. Sen. Cruz Is Right: No Reason To Trust the Republican Leadership

The Hill reports that Sen. Cruz (R) doesn't trust the Republican leadership:

Cruz responded that he doesn't trust Republicans. 

“The senior senator of Arizona urged senators to trust House Republicans ... and frankly, I don’t trust Republicans,” Cruz said. “It’s the leaders of both parties that got us in this mess. ... A lot of Republicans were complicit in this spending spree.”

Real Faith Receives the Word On Its Own Account

Genuine faith receives the Word on its own account regardless of who is preaching it. Those who do believe the message on account of the one preaching it aren’t believing the Word. Neither do they believe in God through the Word. Instead, they believe in the preacher.

However, those who do believe the Word overlook the one who is preaching it. They do not honor the Word because of the person. On the contrary, they honor the person because of the Word. They never place the person higher than the Word. If the preacher is ruined, falls from faith, or begins preaching a different message, the believers would rather let go of the preacher than give up the Word. They would stick with the Word regardless of the person involved or the situation.

This is the true difference between Genuine and Human faith. Human faith is always attached to the person. It believes, trusts, and honors the Word because of the one who speaks it. On the other hand, genuine faith clings to the Word, which is God Himself. Genuine faith believes, trusts and honors the Word because of what it is, not who said it. Faith so strongly senses that the Word is true that no one can tear it away—not even the same preacher who first brought it.

AP President Says DOJ Grab of Info Will Dry Up Sources

The president of Associated Press is warning that reporters’ sources already are drying up because of the threat posed by the Obama administration’s grab of news agency telephone records.

In a report by the news wire, AP President Gary Pruitt said the Justice Department’s seizure of the records was unconstitutional, and ultimately Americans may be uninformed or misinformed about their government as a result.

Fear Not the Storm But The Creator of the Storm

In seeing and hearing of the rage of the massive and deadly tornado that his Moore, OK, please consider this: do not fear the wind or storm, but fear Him Who created it and rules over it. Many feel helpless in light of such strength as a tornado (or any other natural disaster), but that is nothing compared to the awesome power of the holy holy holy God Who rules and reigns over all His creation. This is microscopic compared to the power of God. So fear Him and submit to Him.
