The One-Two-Three Punch By Piper

First punch: Just after John MacArthur publicly called out men such as Sam Storms and John Piper to reject the Charismatic movement and go back to the Five Solas corrected MacArthur's portrayal of Piper as an "anomaly"  in regard to his Charismatic stance.  Here is Piper's defense of Charismaticism and the rebuke he received at the Strange Fire Conference (also audio here):

Second Punch:  The next day Piper tweeted this:

Such a tweet was his way of standing his defiant Charismatic ground with fellow Charismatic Sam Storms. His loyalty clearly was shown with this tweet and division clearly made visible as a result.

Third punch:  Piper joins New Apostolic Reformation's IHOP leader Stephen Venable at what seems to be a mystical conference:

Instead of obeying James 1 which states:

Jas 1:18  In the exercise of His will He brought us forth by the word of truth, so that we would be a kind of first fruits among His creatures.
Jas 1:19  This you know, my beloved brethren. But everyone must be quick to hear, slow to speak and slow to anger;
Jas 1:20  for the anger of man does not achieve the righteousness of God.
Jas 1:21  Therefore, putting aside all filthiness and all that remains of wickedness, in humility receive the word implanted, which is able to save your souls.
Jas 1:22  But prove yourselves doers of the word, and not merely hearers who delude themselves.

Piper continues, as he did with his heretic friend, Rick Warren, to commit spiritual adultery. Despite the facade he tries to wear, Piper is not humble nor teachable either to the Scriptures or the Spirit who is warning and rebuking him through a longtime friend who is thoroughly grounded in and faithful to the Scriptures.
