While God saves and blesses the humble outcast, God
condemns the leaders (prophets and priests) who claim to know God's Word and
speak on His behalf:
Isa 56:10 His watchmen are blind; they are all without
knowledge; they are all silent dogs; they cannot bark, dreaming, lying down,
loving to slumber.
Isa 56:11 The dogs have a mighty appetite; they never have enough. But they are shepherds who have no understanding; they have all turned to their own way, each to his own gain, one and all.
Isa 56:12 "Come," they say, "let me get wine; let us fill ourselves with strong drink; and tomorrow will be like this day, great beyond measure."
This is appropriate for today's plethora of pastors;
shepherds who are hedonists, who are pragmatists, who are unclean, unholy, and
unfit for the work of HIS ministry, displeasing to God, far off from the Truth.
These leaders today, who claim to be shepherds don't
warn and protect the sheep from the enemy. They have no bark. They don't speak.
They have no understanding of spiritual things, only of fleshly things. They are blind while pridefully thinking they alone can "really" see and "really" understand the deep things of God. They
plan for tomorrow just like today, with false promises of greatness and
happiness.

Thank you for your encouragement Lyn. God's grace and kindness abounds through His Word. I get so excited to see just how amazing God's Word is. It never grows old--it's eternal and timely for sure!
