John Quincy Adams on Islam

The average American’s lack of awareness of the past has left our nation in an extremely vulnerable position. The multi-culturalism, pluralism, “diversity,” and political correctness that now blanket American culture mean that many are oblivious to and unconcerned about the threat that Islam poses to the American (and Christian) way of life. The Founders of the American Republic were not so dispossessed. They were well-studied in the ebb and flow of human history, and the international circumstances that could potentially impact America adversely. They, in fact, spoke openly and pointedly about the anti-American, anti-Christian nature of the religion of Islam.Consider, for example, the writings of an early President of the United States, John Quincy Adams. Not only did Adams live during the founding era (born in 1767), 

not only was his father a primary, quintessential Founder, but John Quincy was literally nurtured by his father in the vicissitudes and intricacies of the founding of the Republic. John Adams involved his son at an early age in his own activities and travels on behalf of the fledgling nation. John Quincy accompanied his father to France in 1778, became Secretary to the American Minister to Russia, was the Secretary to his father during peace negotiations that ended the American Revolution in 1783, served as U.S.foreign ambassador, both to the Netherlands and later to Portugal, under George Washington, to Prussia under his father’s presidency, and then to Russia and later to England under President James Madison. He served as a U.S.Senator, Secretary of State under President James Monroe, and then as the nation’s sixth President (1825-1829), and finally as a member of the U.S. House of Representatives, where he was a staunch and fervent opponent of slavery.

After his presidency, but before his election to Congress in 1830, John Quincy penned several essays dealing with one of the many Russo-Turkish Wars. In these essays, we see a cogent, informed portrait of the threat that Islam has posed throughout world history:

In the seventh century of the Christian era, a wandering Arab of the lineage of Hagar, the Egyptian, combining the powers of transcendent genius, with the preternatural energy of a fanatic, and the fraudulent spirit of an impostor, proclaimed himself as a messenger from Heaven, and spread desolation and delusion over an extensive portion of the earth. Adopting from the sublime conception of the Mosaic law, the doctrine of one omnipotent God; he connected indissolubly with it, the audacious falsehood, that he was himself his prophet and apostle. Adopting from the new Revelation of Jesus, the faith and hope of immortal life, and of future retribution, he humbled it to the dust, by adapting all the rewards and sanctions of his religion to the gratification of the sexual passion. He poisoned the sources of human felicity at the fountain, by degrading the condition of the female sex, and the allowance of polygamy; and he declared undistinguishing and exterminating war, as a part of his religion, against all the rest of mankind. THE ESSENCE OF HIS DOCTRINE WAS VIOLENCE AND LUST: TO EXALT THE BRUTAL OVER THE SPIRITUAL PART OF HUMAN NATURE.

Between these two religions, thus contrasted in their characters, a war of twelve hundred years has already raged. That war is yet flagrant; nor can it cease but by the extinction of that imposture, which has been permitted by Providence to prolong the degeneracy of man. While the merciless and dissolute dogmas of the false prophet shall furnish motives to human action, there can never be peace upon earth, and good will towards men. The hand of Ishmael will be against every man, and every man’s hand against him. It is, indeed, amongst the mysterious dealings of God, that this delusion should have been suffered for so many ages, and during so many generations of human kind, to prevail over the doctrines of the meek and peaceful and benevolent Jesus (Blunt, 1830, 29:269, capitals in orig.).

Observe that Adams not only documents the violent nature of Islam, in contrast with the peaceful and benevolent thrust of Christianity, he further exposes the mistreatment of women inherent in Islamic doctrine, including the degrading practice of polygamy.

A few pages later, Adams again spotlights the coercive, violent nature of Islam, as well as the Muslim’s right to lie and deceive to advance Islam:

The precept of the koran is, perpetual war against all who deny, that Mahomet is the prophet of God. The vanquished may purchase their lives, by the payment of tribute; the victorious may be appeased by a false and delusive promise of peace; and the faithful follower of the prophet, may submit to the imperious necessities of defeat: but the command to propagate the Moslem creed by the sword is always obligatory, when it can be made effective. The commands of the prophet may be performed alike, by fraud, or by force (Blunt, 29:274).

No Christian would deny that many Christians in history have violated the precepts of Christ by mistreating others and even committing atrocities in the name of Christ. However, Adams rightly observes that one must go against Christian doctrine to do so. Not so with Islam—since violence is sanctioned:

The fundamental doctrine of the Christian religion, is the extirpation of hatred from the human heart. It forbids the exercise of it, even towards enemies. There is no denomination of Christians, which denies or misunderstands this doctrine. All understand it alike—all acknowledge its obligations; and however imperfectly, in the purposes of Divine Providence, its efficacy has been shown in the practice of Christians, it has not been wholly inoperative upon them. Its effect has been upon the manners of nations. It has mitigated the horrors of war—it has softened the features of slavery—it has humanized the intercourse of social life. The unqualified acknowledgement of a duty does not, indeed, suffice to insure its performance. Hatred is yet a passion, but too powerful upon the hearts of Christians. Yet they cannot indulge it, except by the sacrifice of their principles, and the conscious violation of their duties. No state paper from a Christian hand, could, without trampling the precepts of its Lord and Master, have commenced by an open proclamation of hatred to any portion of the human race. The Ottoman lays it down as the foundation of his discourse (Blunt, 29:300, emp. added).

The Founders were forthright in their assessment of the nature and teachings of Islam and the Quran. Americans and their political leaders would do well to take a sober look at history. To fail to do so will be catastrophic.

I'd like to just add something here. "Christian" must be defined by Scripture. Roman Catholics are not Christian, so their war with Islam in 1060's was not biblical on any level. Also, to indulge hatred doesn't merely sacrifice the Christian's principles and conscience of duties, it violates Scripture and the commands of the risen Lord Jesus Christ---the two which are far more significant and authoritative on every level. Therefore to violate biblical principles--that is, to rebel against King Jesus Christ--is to sin and repentance is called for---even perhaps in large numbers, a call to salvation (bad fruit is evidence of a bad tree).

The point is this: Islam's political religion began with a demonically influence, violent, unholy man who was obsessed with violence, power, sex, and lies. Christianity is wholly different as its Founder is God from eternity past--He who is without shadow, darkness, error, but is eternally true, perfect, and absolutely righteous, without change, and only and ever true and good. There is no comparison between the two religions, but only contrasts down to the foundation and the founders.

Pan-Indifference and Fake Unity

It is thought to be mere bigotry to protest against the mad spirit which is now loose among us. Pan-indifferentism is rising like the tide; who can hinder it? We are all to be as one, even though we agree in next to nothing. It is a breach of brotherly love to denounce error. Hail, holy charity! Black is white; and white is black. The false is true; the true is false; the true and the false are one. Let us join hands, and never again mention those barbarous, old-fashioned doctrines about which we are sure to differ. Let the good and sound men for liberty's sake shield their "advanced brethren"; or, at least, gently blame them in a tone which means approval. After all, there is no difference, except in the point of view from which we look at things: it is all in the eye, or, as the vulgar say, "it is all my eye"! In order to maintain an open union, let us fight as for dear life against any form of sound words, since it might restrain our liberty to deny the doctrines of the Word of God!

Time to Get Off The Fence and Commit To One Or the Other

2014 Catalyst Conference (Dallas) Promotes Contemplative Spirituality: speakers include Craig Groschel and Phyllis Tickle

The event, called “Catalyst Dallas,” was sponsored by Atlanta-based Catalyst and featured speakers Craig Groeschel of LifeChurch.tv, filmmaker Ryan Leak, corporate management expert Patrick Lencioni and author Jen Hatmaker, among many others.

A common theme throughout Catalyst Dallas was the work of Roman Catholic mystics Thomas Merton, Thomas Keating and Henri Nouwen.

In a workshop Tuesday afternoon, Phileena Heuertz led the audience in a “centering prayer,” which detractors argue opens the door to altered states of consciousness and possibly occult influences.

According to author Phyllis Tickle, there are “seven ancient disciplines,” including centering prayer, or “fixed-hour prayer,” that are making a comeback among younger Christians. Included in these disciplines is the practice of solitude and “centering prayer.”

However, Ken Silva, director of Apprising Ministries, said he was dismayed at the presence of the mystical form of prayer at Catalyst.

He notes its growth among mainstream evangelicals through the influence of the Emerging Church movement, which has promoted it as a core doctrine. For the past couple of years he has seen it recommended by influential evangelicals such as Rick Warren.

Catalyst Conference, Oprah, Rainn Wilson's Pagan "Soul Pancake" and Witchcraft

Let me start by saying that Christians LOVE the sticky mess that Soul Pancake and Oprah are. The biggest Emergent leadership conference, Catalyst, hosted Soul Pancake creator Rainn Wilson recently so that young upcoming leaders could incorporate this mind-boggling spirituality into their Christian teachings. And we reported last year that Oprah Winfrey’s anything-goes “Soul Pancake” spirituality channel is now promoting “Past Life Regression” therapy. This is nothing more than the Buddhist teachings of reincarnation. Yet Christians in her audience see no problem with this. And don’t even get us started on Oprah’s new tour with apostate heretic Rob Bell.

But witchcraft?

We know that Oprah Winfrey doesn’t believe that Jesus Christ is the only way. She has been clear about her universalist, mystical occult leanings for years, so Christians should not be surprised about this. But what jumped out at me this morning was......

Soul Pancake is created by Oprah’s friend, actor Rainn Wilson (Dwight Schrute of “The Office”), who describes SoulPancake as: “a creative way to chew on life’s big questions and figure out what it means to be human.” This journey led him to the Baha’i faith, which he described to Oprah in their first Soul Series in 2009:

Amy Grant On Sodomy

Last April Amy Grant, Contemporary "Christian" Music artist had an interview with a sodomite newspaper.Not one word about Jesus Christ and His Gospel in this interview. Then again, that is what Grant is infamous for. Here are some excerpts on which I comment.

When feelings dictate your views instead of Scripture, you are declaring war on God. 

Q:So how do you respond to people when they ask you about your feelings on gay marriage?

A:In the same way that I did not tell one person who I voted for. I don't. I never talk about anything like that. I did tell Vince (Gill, her husband) the day after the election. (Laughs)

But I think my response is, I have had so many occasions in my life where I have felt really strongly about something - but that feeling has changed. Those feelings change about different situations, and so because I'm a public person - and because I want always to bring people together - I really do say this is a world that's unfamiliar to me and I am always trying to observe with compassion.

God's Word and His nature never change. Therefore if she's changed her mind about the sin of sodomy and finds it a non-issue, she is in violation of the Bible.

She's the epitome of seeking the applause of man, not the thrice holy God:

Q:How did you know? Did a fan tell you his or her coming-out story?

A. No. Just from meeting people. I don't know. I guess I'm kind of going, that was a long time ago. I'm 52. (Laughs) I've never even thought about it. It's like saying, "There's gray-haired people in the crowd, too." If people come to my shows, this is what they say: "Wow, there are people of all ages and lifestyles in your crowd." That's what they always say. But then someone will come up and say, "You know, I saw a guy with a boa on," and I'll say, "Oh yeah, yeah, I've always had a big gay following." (Laughs)

To me, I don't give it a second thought. I remember the first time someone from the crew said, "I smell pot in the back of the crowd," and I went, "Well, fantastic! Yay!" I'm so glad that just "people" are coming.

Q:Weren't you invited to perform at the wedding of one of your gay fans but couldn't due to your schedule?

A:I was invited. I was honored to be invited. I have to tell you: Anytime somebody asks me to perform at a wedding, I say, "I do not have a good track record." (Laughs) A lot of the weddings I've performed at, the marriages have ended poorly.

That's quite a low and unholy view of marriage there Amy. Trivializing marriage isn't something to be laughing about. It should be shamed.

It is good to know that there is a limit to affliction. It is but for a moment--it has its appointed end.
Not always will the war go on.
Not always will the seas be tempest-driven. 
Not always will the rains descend and the fierce winds blow.
God weighs and measures, bounds and ordains, my sorrows!

For seven months Mr. Monod lay in helpless suffering. Week by week his pain increased in its severity, until he had not a minute when he was free from it. But this was what he wrote:

Enemies Against The Doctrine of Election

“The bitterest enemies against the doctrine of election are the Papists. This is exactly what might be expected, for the truth of election can never be made to square with the dogma of human merits—the one is diametrically opposed to the other. Every man who loves himself and seeks salvation by his own works, will loathe sovereign grace, and seek to load it with contempt. On the other hand, those who have been effectually humbled by the Holy Spirit and brought to realize that they are utterly dependent upon the discriminating mercy of God will have no hankerings after, nor patience with a system which sets the crown of honour upon the creature. History bears ample testimony that Rome detests the very name of Calvinism. “From all sects there may be some hope of obtaining converts to Rome except Calvinism,” said the late “Cardinal” Manning. And he was right, as our own degenerate age bears full witness, for while no regenerated Calvinist will ever be fatally deceived by the wiles of the Mother of Harlots, yet thousands of “Protestant” (?) [sic] Arminians are annually rushing to her arms.

It is an irrefutable fact that as Calvinism has met with less and less favour in the leading Protestant bodies, as the sovereignty of God and His electing love have been more and more crowded out of their pulpits, that Rome has made increasing progress, until today she must have both in England and in the U.S.A. a greater number of followers than any single evangelical denomination. But saddest of all is that the vast majority of those now occupying so-called Protestant pulpits are preaching the very things which further Rome’s interests. Their insistence upon the freedom of fallen man’s will to do good must fill the papist leaders with delight—in the Council of Trent she condemned all who affirmed the contrary. To what extent the leaven of Popery has spread may be seen in that “Evangelical Protestants” (?) [sic] who oppose the doctrine of election are now employing the self same objections…”

I believe today it is hated even more so by "Evangelicals", thanks to men like Billy Graham, Dave Hunt, and others. Today's Calvinist is actually more Arminian than some Arminians, so even though they would claim the doctrine of Election, elsewhere they act more like Arminians. This is seen by their appeal to man's fallen mind--thinking that Greek's logic, all sorts of evidence, fine-sounding arguments, personality, education, and the light can and does persuade a dead man to turn to Christ.

“When God sends forth His servants to preach the Gospel the Devil soon after prompts his emissaries to proclaim “another gospel”: when God speaks the Devil gives a mocking echo. Satan has found that he can work far more effectively by counterfeiting the Truth than by openly denying it, hence in every age “false prophets” have abounded, and therefore we should be neither surprised nor stumbled by their number or success in our own day. We fully agree with Andrew Fuller when he said, “As this word ‘beware of false prophets’ was designed for Christians of every age, the term rendered ‘prophets’ must here, as it often is elsewhere, be used of ordinary teachers.” “Beware of false prophets” signifies in this dispensation, Be on your guard against false teachers, heretical preachers. There are no longer any “prophets” in the strict and technical sense of the term, though there are a few of God’s servants who in their gifts and special work approximate closely thereto. Those against whom we are here warned are men who have a false commission, never having been called of God to the service they engage in; they preach error, which is subversive of “the doctrine which is according to godliness” (1 Timothy 6:3); and the fruit they bear is a base imitation of the fruit of the Spirit. The chief identifying mark of the false prophets has ever been their saying, “Peace, peace,” when there is none (Jeremiah 23:17; Micah 3:5; 1 Thess. 5:3). They heal the wounds of sinners slightly (Jeremiah 8:11) and daub “with untempered morter” (Ezekiel 8:14; 22:28). They prophesy “smooth things” (Isaiah 30:10), inventing easy ways to heaven, pandering to corrupt nature. There is nothing in their preaching which searches the conscience and renders the empty professor uneasy, nothing which humbles and causes their hearers to mourn before God; but rather that which puffs up, makes them pleased with themselves and to rest content in a false assurance.

The general characteristic of “false prophets” is that they make vital godliness to be a less strict and easier thing than it actually is, more agreeable to fallen human nature, and thus they encourage the unregenerate to be satisfied with something which comes short of true grace. So the Pharisees did, notwithstanding all their strictness (Matthew 23:25). So the papists do, notwithstanding all their boasted austerities. So Arminians do, notwithstanding all their seeming zeal for good works. So the Antinomians do, notwithstanding their pretended superior light and joy, zeal and confidence. This is the common mark of all false teachers: rejecting the Divine way, they manufacture one to suit themselves, and however they may differ among themselves, they all agree to make the practice of piety and the Christian walk an easier thing than the Scriptures do, to offer salvation on cheaper terms, to make the gate wider and the way to heaven broader than did Christ and His apostles. It is this which explains the secret of their popularity: “They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them” (1 John 4:5).

But of such Christ warns his people to “beware,” for they feed souls with poison and not with the pure milk of the Word. “Which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.” In those words Christ emphasized the danger of these false prophets: the character they assumed is well calculated to deceive the unwary…

They are agents of the evil one, yet claim to be the servants of the Holy One. Their place is on the outside, in the forests and mountains, yet. they intrude themselves within the fold. This intimates their great craftiness and seeming piety. People think they are teaching them the way to heaven, when in fact they are conducting them to hell. Often they are difficult to discover, for they “creep into houses and lead captive silly women” (Timothy 3:6), yea, even in apostolic times some of them successfully “crept in unawares” (Jude 4) into the assemblies of the saints. It was of such Paul wrote when he said, “For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. And no marvel: for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness” (2 Corinthians 11:13-15).

Though their clothing be “sheep’s,” yet they have the fierceness and cruelty of wolves.

Immaturity and Inappropriate Behavior Keeps A-List Stars From The White House Correspondants' Dinner

The Hollywood Reporter reports:

According to the source, "there are way too many A-listers who have had pretty weird experiences at the dinner. A lot of the people who have gone say they'll never do it again. The room is so crowded. It's uncontrolled. There's no limit to the number of people trying to get photos and autographs -- and there's no way to hide from it. It's like the stars are animals in a cage. People go crazy when they see them. They act like a bunch of kids at the Kids' Choice Awards."

Publicists tell their clients that it's OK to attend the dinner -- especially if they want publicity for a project -- but that they should be wary. This is a crowd that gropes and grabs. A few years ago, one drunken guest actually bared her breasts to Ben Affleck as he was walking to the men's restroom. (That was the last time he attended the dinner.) And it's not just the megastars who get the unwanted attention, which often comes from the correspondents' dates.

"They're infatuated with anyone who is sort of famous," according to one previous attendee. "People on reality TV shows are walking around like they're the secretary of state -- and they're actually getting their pictures taken with the real secretary."

Of course last year more of them showed up. So whether the lack of enthusiasm is due to an election high like last year as THR suggests, or the reality of Obama's lies and socialism is starting to hit a little too close to home, it seems at least for now, there's a distancing of Hollywood from the Obamas.

Would We Really Rather Have Things Our Own Way? Wait on the LORD and Be of Good Courage

"Wait on the LORD; be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart; wait, I say, on the LORD!" Psalm 27:14

Will we ever learn this? If we would live in this world for the honor and glory of Christ, we must understand that it is our glorious privilege and responsibility to wait on our God. If we would honor the Lord Jesus we must wait on Him faithfully . . .
believing His word,
trusting His promises,
resting in His finished work as our Savior,
hiding beneath His precious blood,
depending on Him for righteousness, salvation, and acceptance with our God.

We must wait on Him patiently . . .
without murmuring,
without complaint,
without dissatisfaction,
without discontent.
God does not always work immediately, but He always works. He never performs His works on our carnal schedule, but according to His all wise eternal purpose of grace. Let us be patient. God knows what's best for His glory and our immortal souls. He knows when, where, and how to work deliverance for us, far better than we do.

We must wait submissively. We must submit our vain wills to His sovereign, almighty, perfect will. We must wait on Him with a spirit of humility and submission--as children waiting on their father to help them, feed them, teach them, and provide for them. His name is Jehovah-Jireh (The Lord Will Provide). Our God will not forget us. It is our responsibility to submit ourselves to Him, His will, and His ways.

We must wait on Him gladly. We quickly forget that not only is it our duty to wait on him, but our privilege to wait on His Majesty. Would we really rather have things our way? Has not our way proved to be abject misery and shame, countless times before? Would we rather have our foolish way--than His who is Love, Mercy, and Wisdom? Let us, as the dear children of God, wait on Him cheerfully.

We must wait on Him expectantly.
He will do all that He has promised.
He will save us.
He will remember us.
He will destroy our enemies.
He will bring us to Himself.
He will dispel the darkness.
He will accomplish His purpose for us and in us.
Let us wait on Him who cannot fail, with earnest expectation and lively hope.

We must wait on Him prayerfully. We must have our eyes perpetually fixed upon Him. Let us give ourselves to constant prayer, so that day by day, hour by hour, and moment by moment--we are looking to Him for fresh supplies of mercy and grace to sustain us, strengthen us, and keep us to the end.

He redeemed us with His own precious blood!
He called us by His Spirit and gave us life from the dead!
He has staked His glory as God, upon our everlasting salvation!

He has promised to do us good, and to withhold no good thing from us! How can we not faithfully, joyfully, and patiently wait on such a God as this?

Jars of Clay's Dan Haseltine: a vessel of dishonorable use

WND reports:

"Dan Haseltine tweeted: “I just don’t see a negative effect to allowing gay marriage. No societal breakdown, no war on traditional marriage. ?? Anyone?”

Further, in a statement he later regretted, he said: “I don’t particularly care about Scripture’s stance on what is ‘wrong.’ I care more about how it says we should treat people.”

“Tweeting Scripture verses to settle my questions of gay marriage isn’t helpful. Simple answers to complex questions= meh."

The Urban Dictionary says the slang term “meh” means: “Indifference; to be used when one simply does not care.”

That's a man-centered, man-pleasing mentality which necessarily means he doesn't have a biblical worldview at all. He's also making a false dichotomy. It's also hypocritical because he's treating biblical Christians with contempt. Worse, he's treating the Triune God and His Word with utter contempt and rebellion. But he doesn't care about that. He just wants to worry about how to treat some group of people and fancy himself as spiritually and morally superior. The fact is, he's a pharisee.

God holds His Word high above anything and everything else. Including the feelings of people and their opinions. When a "Christian" tosses Scripture aside and cares more about how he thinks Christians should or should not be treating others (who made him the moral compass, anyway?), it shows he has a lack of love for the Truth--the very thing God absolutely loves. This is fruit of darkness and we should question Haseltine's faith.

When liberal "Christian" Post's blog pointed out the various passages in both testaments in Scripture that condemn sodomy, Haseltine's response was typical. Claiming to have not chosen his words wisely (um, repeately, days apart is not lack of choosing words wisely in a single moment of heated debate, although that would show serious concern, but rather it shows a constant rebellion against the truth and in favor of sodomy), as the WND article goes on to report:

“I care about what Scripture says. It matters.”

But he also noted: “I have received so many great messages from gay Christians. You have encouraged me.”

“So many gay couples display more loving characteristics and healthy relationship practices than most traditional marriage couples,” he said.

Sproul Jr., Groothius, and Brown chimmed in on the issue.

Haseltine also continued in typical liberal fashion:

In the middle of the discussion, Haseltine asked some basic questions about marriage itself.

“Arranged marriage? Marriage out of convenience? Marriage out of pregnancy? Etc… It’s as vague a term as ‘Christian,’” he tweeted.

Trying to equate sodomy with valid marriage is utterly dishonest and ridiculous. The arrangement of marriage isn't a biblical issue so much as the foundational one that it is only and ever can be, between one woman and one man, regardless if it's arranged or out of convenience. Those issues presume a male and female, something foundationally contrary to Haseltine's option and equivocating of sodomy.

And yes, we can't forget the typical liberal moral accusation of "fear". Those standing for Truth are fearful, those who disregard Scripture and are tolerant and even promote ungodliness are "loving". Dogmatism: fearful; uncertainty and liberalism = loving.

How twisted is that?

First of all, holding dogmatically to dogmatic biblical Truth has nothing to do with fear except this: fearing God.

Pro 1:7  The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge; Fools despise wisdom and instruction. 

The fear of God, then, keeps us from sinning, as Thomas Watson said.

Secondly, if one is walking in sin and is rebelling against the knowledge of the Truth, they should fear God:

Mat 10:28  "Do not fear those who kill the body but are unable to kill the soul; but rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. 

1Pe 1:16  because it is written, "YOU SHALL BE HOLY, FOR I AM HOLY." 17  If you address as Father the One who impartially judges according to each one's work, conduct yourselves in fear during the time of your stay on earth; 

Heb 10:31  It is a terrifying thing to fall into the hands of the living God. 

God condemns such men who approve of sodomy as He states in relation to sodomy as well as other sins:

Rom 1:32  and although they know the ordinance of God, that those who practice such things are worthy of death, they not only do the same, but also give hearty approval to those who practice them. 

Of all unbelievers, God says:

Rom 3:18  "THERE IS NO FEAR OF GOD BEFORE THEIR EYES." 

Jars of Clay's Dan Haseltine's Pro-Sodomy Update: digging his grave even deeper

I'm going to say it as concisely, and bluntly as possible, because we've run out of time to do anything else but get to the heart of the matter here.

There is nothing vague, unclear, nothing complicated about God's view of sodomy on all levels. To claim otherwise is to deny Scripture. Period. Culture is wrong, God is right. How hard is it? There's nothing to bite one's fingernails over; nothing to really think and consider when it comes to sodomy and sodomy unions. Nothing. The fake agony and claim of ignorance or being open minded is nothing short of dishonesty and hatred of the Truth. Confusion only comes in when Scripture is questions and culture is accepted. 

To even DARE to buy into the pagan notion that sodomy is like race is also dishonest and absolutely wrong. One chooses sodomy, one can't chose one's parents. Seriously Dan??? You've lost the battle AND the war. You are a traitor. Jars of Clay should be rejected.

Biblical Truth, Milk or Meat Understanding: one kind gives unity, the other can lead to disunity

Look at chapter 3 of 1 Corinthians. Paul says, "I, brethren, could not speak to you as to spiritual men but as to carnal, fleshly..fleshy, as to babes in Christ." I have to talk to you as immature, fleshy people. I can't talk to you as spiritual men. "I gave you milk to drink, not solid food." What does that mean? I...there aren't milk doctrines in the Bible and meat doctrines, I heard somebody say that one time. There are milk doctrines and meat doctrines. No. No, there are not. There--there are doctrines, there are truths and there's a milk understanding and a meat understanding. I can speak to you about the fact that Jesus Christ died in your place on the cross. And for some of you, you understand that only in the milk sense, you're new, you're a babe and you only understand that in the simplest sense. To others of you, when I talk about the doctrine of substitutionary atonement, you plunge down and maybe don't come up for weeks because there are such profound depths to the doctrine of substitutionary atonement. Paul says I can't talk to you about the depths, I have to talk to you like babies, I have to give you the milk and not the solid food because you're not able to receive it. Indeed here's the proof, you're not able because you're still fleshy. And what is the manifestation of that? There is jealousy and there is strife or fighting among you. Are you not fleshly? Are you not walking like mere men?

Let me tell you one of the things that contributes most directly to discord in the church is people with a shallow understanding of Scripture. That's why I say again, the legacy of solid food of an understanding of some of the depth of the Word of God is the unity of the faith. And everyone understanding the same, believing the same, having the same mind, making the same judgments...there's no ground for substantial foundational disagreement. Quite the contrary to take a reductionist mentality and say, "We want to throw doctrine out so we can get together," is the antithesis of this and that is to sweep heresy under the rug and think that it's not something to be considered and to sweep sin under the rug as if it had no negative effect, as if the all compelling thing was to just accept everybody whatever they might believe, or however they might behave. Nothing could be more dishonoring to our Lord.

Each of these men (and woman) is in serious, grave error, and yet all of them find unity as they endorse each other. This is about borrowing from each other's audience, and not about the Truth. Flattery is condemned by God.

Here, Reformers, Emergents (or rather, as I call them, Reformergents), Word of Faithers, Modalist (anti-Trinitarian pagan), pagan Pelagian (Arminian), and Charismatics (Reformed, WOF) don't unify on biblical doctrine--not even the Gospel---but simply on

Each Other.

It is politics within "Christianity". It's no different than finding George W. Bush working together with Ted Kennedy, or Boehner working with Obama and praising the amnesty idea (while slamming the more conservative voters of the Tea Party). Except with directly related spiritual issues (as in teaching, books, fellowship) it's of immediate and spiritual consequence.

It is conspiracy against King Jesus while claiming luv. However, if they had true agape love for God and for the truth, they would hate the wickedness of these men and have absolutely NOTHING to do with them, but rather separate from them (how about refusing to even start ministrying with them in the first place?), and call them publicly to repent of their heinous sin.

WND has learned [Ibrahim] Hooper, national communications director and official spokesman for the Washington-based group, prominently displays in his Washington office at least one of the Islamic books that instructs Muslim men to strike their wives and to have sex with them whenever they desire. It is part of his personal library, and he is known to routinely refer to the book. He even proudly shows it to visitors.
