Being A Jew Is Not the Same As Being Righteous Before the Thrice Holy God

Rom 2:23  You who boast in Law, do you dishonor God through transgression of the Law? 
Rom 2:24  For the name of God is blasphemed among the nations through you, even as it has been written: Isa. 52:5
Rom 2:25  For indeed circumcision profits if you practice the Law, but if you are a transgressor of Law, your circumcision becomes uncircumcision. 

Rom 2:28  For he is not a Jew that is one outwardly, nor is circumcision that outwardly in flesh; 29  but he is a Jew that is one inwardly, and circumcision is of heart, in spirit, not in letter; of whom the praise is not from men, but from God. 

Rom 3:9  What then? Are we Jews any better off? No, not at all. For we have already charged that all, both Jews and Greeks, are under sin, 10  as it is written: "None is righteous, no, not one; 11  no one understands; no one seeks for God.12  All have turned aside; together they have become worthless; no one does good, not even one." 

Eze 16:1  Then the word of the LORD came to me, saying, 2  "Son of man, make known to Jerusalem her abominations 3  and say, 'Thus says the Lord GOD to Jerusalem, "Your origin and your birth are from the land of the Canaanite, your father was an Amorite and your mother a Hittite. 

Joh 5:45  Do not think that I will accuse you to the Father. There is one who accuses

you: Moses, on whom you have set your hope.

Jesus said in John 5:46  If you believed Moses, you would believe Me; for he wrote of Me.

Luk 24:26  Was it not necessary that the Christ should suffer these things and enter into his

glory?" 27  And beginning with Moses and all the Prophets, he interpreted to them in all

the Scriptures the things concerning himself. 

Rom 1:16  For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. 17  For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, "BUT THE RIGHTEOUS man SHALL LIVE BY FAITH."
