Love God, Hate Evil

Psa 97:10  Hate evil, you who love the LORD, Who preserves the souls of His godly ones; He delivers them from the hand of the wicked.

Isa 61:8  For I the LORD love justice; I hate robbery and wrong

Amo 5:14  Seek good, and not evil, that you may live; and so the LORD, the God of hosts, will be with you, as you have said. 

Amo 5:15  Hate evil, and love good, and establish justice in the gate; it may be that the LORD, the God of hosts, will be gracious to the remnant of Joseph. 

1Th 5:21  but test everything; hold fast what is good. 22  Abstain from every form of evil. 

In light of these passages, it seems there is no way a person can be "for" "lesser evil" even in politics. God is not approving of any evil, "lesser" or not. He calls us to hate all evil and not seek it.
