Listen To All That Jesus Christ the Beloved Son of God Says

Jas 1:23  For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man who looks at his natural face in a mirror; 24  for once he has looked at himself and gone away, he has immediately forgotten what kind of person he was. 25  But one who looks intently at the perfect law, the law of liberty, and abides by it, not having become a forgetful hearer but an effectual doer, this man shall be blessed in what he does.

It seems more and more Evangelicals, including Calvinists, are advocating a hyper-Dispensational view of Scripture via their doctrinal triage. I've even seen them go so far as to chop up the "essentials" and "non-essentials" (aka bare minimum one "needs to know") about Christ Himself. This is exactly what the hyper-Dispensationalists do, to the point of dividing Christ and His Words before the Cross (to the Jews only), and after (to the Gentiles only), thus dividing the N.T. into parts only for Jewish believers or Gentile believers. Divorcing Christ and the Word is unbelief in the corpus of Truth and is the height of arrogance to sit in judgment of what one thinks others "need" to know or don't need to know. It is to be in unison the ancient Serpent in the Garden, the great deceiver, when he attacked God and His Word by asking Eve "Did God really say?"

Consider that Christ and all the doctrines pertaining to His Person and work, along with all His commands and doctrines He has given throughout Scripture (including Revelation which necessarily includes the sound doctrine of eschatology and ecclesiology), are united. They cannot be separated for God has joined them. To try to divorce them is to be at war with God and is not from the Spirit of Truth, but rather the spirit of error--that of the Pharisees.

Those in Christ will hear the Master's voice throughout all of Scripture, including the apostolic doctrines.

Mat 17:5  While he was still speaking, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them; and behold, a voice out of the cloud, saying, "This is My beloved Son, with whom I am well-pleased; listen to Him!"

Mat 28:18  And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, "All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.
Mat 28:19  "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit,
Mat 28:20  teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age."

Mat 10:27  "What I tell you in the darkness, speak in the light; and what you hear whispered in your ear, proclaim upon the housetops.

Mat 10:40  "He who receives you receives Me, and he who receives Me receives Him who sent Me.

1Jn 4:6  We are from God; he who knows God listens to us; he who is not from God does not listen to us. By this we know the spirit of truth and the spirit of error.

Jn 1:6  And this is love, that we walk according to His commandments. This is the commandment, just as you have heard from the beginning, that you should walk in it.
2Jn 1:7  For many deceivers have gone out into the world, those who do not acknowledge Jesus Christ as coming in the flesh. This is the deceiver and the antichrist.
2Jn 1:8  Watch yourselves, that you might not lose what we have accomplished, but that you may receive a full reward.
2Jn 1:9  Anyone who goes too far and does not abide in the teaching of Christ, does not have God; the one who abides in the teaching, he has both the Father and the Son.
2Jn 1:10  If anyone comes to you and does not bring this teaching, do not receive him into your house, and do not give him a greeting;
2Jn 1:11  for the one who gives him a greeting participates in his evil deeds.

1Ti 6:2  And let those who have believers as their masters not be disrespectful to them because they are brethren, but let them serve them all the more, because those who partake of the benefit are believers and beloved. Teach and preach these principles.
1Ti 6:3  If anyone advocates a different doctrine, and does not agree with sound words, those of our Lord Jesus Christ, and with the doctrine conforming to godliness,
1Ti 6:4  he is conceited and understands nothing; but he has a morbid interest in controversial questions and disputes about words, out of which arise envy, strife, abusive language, evil suspicions,
1Ti 6:5  and constant friction between men of depraved mind and deprived of the truth, who suppose that godliness is a means of gain.

What is the last thing Jesus commanded the apostles to do just before His ascension? Make disciples, baptize them, and teach them ALL He commanded. As Jesus continued to give His final words and commands in the rest of Scripture, we have the completed doctrine of Christ by the end of the Revelation of Jesus Christ.

Consider that people who deny a believer's baptism is in traitorous rebellion against the King who commanded a believer's baptism. A Roman Catholic infant sprinkling, which is the same as the Calvinist/Presbyterian "baptism" is NOT according to the command of Jesus. It is to hold to traditions of men, while sitting aside the doctrine of Christ (Matt. 15:1-9).

Mat 15:3  And He answered and said to them, "And why do you yourselves transgress the commandment of God for the sake of your tradition?

Mat 15:7  "You hypocrites, rightly did Isaiah prophesy of you, saying,
Mat 15:8  'THIS PEOPLE HONORS ME WITH THEIR LIPS, BUT THEIR HEART IS FAR AWAY FROM ME.
Mat 15:9  'BUT IN VAIN DO THEY WORSHIP ME, TEACHING AS DOCTRINES THE PRECEPTS OF MEN.'"

Moreover, it is to put oneself under the yoke and bondage of men and their laws and traditions, contrary to Scripture:

Gal 4:3  So also we, while we were children, were held in bondage under the elemental things of the world.
Gal 4:4  But when the fullness of the time came, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the Law,
Gal 4:5  in order that He might redeem those who were under the Law, that we might receive the adoption as sons.
Gal 4:6  And because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into our hearts, crying, "Abba! Father!"
Gal 4:7  Therefore you are no longer a slave, but a son; and if a son, then an heir through God.
Gal 4:8  However at that time, when you did not know God, you were slaves to those which by nature are no gods.
Gal 4:9  But now that you have come to know God, or rather to be known by God, how is it that you turn back again to the weak and worthless elemental things, to which you desire to be enslaved all over again?

Other doctrines Christ taught was about His kingdom rule as Messiah, eschatology, ecclesiology, Creation, marriage, divorce, loyalty to Him alone, faithfulness to walk in Truth, source of truth vs error, gender roles, etc. If we're in Him, we will received and continue to abide in all His doctrines, not divorce them and treat them so lightly (which is how blasphemy is defined) as if a strange thing (Hosea 8:12).

This is important because we're to walk in the Truth:

1Jn 1:6  If we say that we have fellowship with Him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth;7  but if we walk in the light as He Himself is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin.

2Jn 1:6  And this is love, that we walk according to His commandments.
2Jn 1:10  If anyone comes to you and does not bring this teaching, do not receive him into your house, and do not give him a greeting;
2Jn 1:11  for the one who gives him a greeting participates in his evil deeds.

3Jn 1:3  For I was very glad when brethren came and bore witness to your truth, that is, how you are walking in truth. 4  I have no greater joy than this, to hear of my children walking in the truth.

Joh 17:17  "Sanctify them in the truth; Thy word is truth.

Psa 1:1  How blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked, Nor stand in the path of sinners, Nor sit in the seat of scoffers!
Psa 1:2  But his delight is in the law of the LORD, And in His law he meditates day and night.
Psa 1:3  And he will be like a tree firmly planted by streams of water, Which yields its fruit in its season, And its leaf does not wither; And in whatever he does, he prospers.

Psa 86:11  Teach me Thy way, O LORD; I will walk in Thy truth; Unite my heart to fear Thy name.
