Isn't This "Income Inequality"?

According to Gallup’s survey of incomes in 131 countries between 2006 and 2012, the median annual household income worldwide is $9,733.   The median per-capita household income is $2,920.
Whether the first lady’s dress cost $10,000 or $12,000, it was more expensive than the median annual global household income.  It was also far more expensive than the per capita household income.

More to the point, there's nary an American who could afford such a dress. But alas, let the surfs eat cake! She's living like a queen (one wonders where King George III is), removed from  the reality of consequences of her husband's socialist, statist, backwards economic ruination of our capitalist country. Capitalism that allows equal opportunity only: the rest is up to you. Statism: spread the misery where no one can rise out of their class.

She could learn a lesson from Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge who recycles her clothes and doesn't often spend a fortune to look good. She's a bargin hunter.

Why couldn't Michelle have worn a far less costlier dress, like the black one she wore when dining with the Queen? That was thought to be around £1,000 (not more than $2,000---isn't $2,000 far less than $10-12,000?)

Just last night Catherine recycled a dress she wore a few months ago, for a huge gala at the National Gallery. The  silk dress, a Jenny Packham, goes for $5,4,25. Worn twice recently---that's a much less expense than Michelle Obama's frock at twice the amount. Has she ever recycled her outfits?

The point is this: while blathering on about their socialist agenda of everyone gets the same pay no matter their job ("income inequality"), they go out and live like royalty---or better. Even REAL royalty, like Queen Elizabeth is famous for being quite frugal. The Obama's? Spend OUR money like it's water, so we've got nothing left.

The Obama's are proving their hypocrisy: let everyone else have a lower standard of living (which is exactly what happens when we have minimum wage), but they get to live lavishly.
