Peace At Death, Calm in Life: God's forbearance isn't forgiveness

If a wicked man seems to have peace at death, it is not from the knowledge of his happiness--but from the ignorance of his danger!

God's long forbearance in not punishing of sin, is not forgiveness!
The longer God delays the blow--the heavier it falls when He strikes!

The sinner may live in a calm--but he will die in a storm of wrath!

Eternity in Hell and under the wrath of God is a very, very, long time!

Rom 6:23  For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Rom 10:9  that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved;
Rom 10:10  for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation.
Rom 10:11  For the Scripture says, "WHOEVER BELIEVES IN HIM WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED."
Rom 10:12  For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; for the same Lord is Lord of all, abounding in riches for all who call on Him;
Rom 10:13  for "WHOEVER WILL CALL ON THE NAME OF THE LORD WILL BE SAVED."

If you understand you are a sinner before a thrice holy God and that youhave no good in you, no way to appease His wrath against you as a lawbreaker, that is reason to fear Him and so you should. If this is where you are at, then the Good News is indeed good: trust and believe in the person and work of the biblical Lord Jesus Christ for salvation, knowing His death fully satisfied the wrath of God the Father against you, that He alone is your righteousness because you have none in yourself and God demands perfect righteousness, then you can be saved from your sins and God's holy and just wrath, and the due punishment of death and Hell. You can be freed from sin's enslavement, from its darkness, from its bondage, from its misery. But it such freedom is solely found in the person and work of the Lord Jesus Christ alone. You can't add to Him or to what He accomplished at the cross and in His resurrection. It's either Him or no salvation at all.

There is no neutrality toward God and sin for anyone at any time.

Ever.
