Scrutiny and Respect: the world vs. the Believer

A cashier who holds up a crisp $100 dollar bill, received from a patient Christian, to the light of the grocery store. Searching for indicators of fraud and hoping to find signs of authenticity. He is unashamed as his line swells, undeterred by the tension of silence and perception of his customers. He does so to ensure he has not received a counterfeit bill for the sake of business operations.

The follower of the blessed Lord Jesus Christ holds all men, with the same scrutiny, to the light of infallible Scripture; for the honor of the King of Kings. In this present hour, the cashier is more respected; to our peril. (Acts 17:11)
